Closed now. Only good place in Annapolis to obtain outdoor equipment. Too bad they had to close.

I bought a Thule rack here and Paul spent an hour putting the whole thing together and loading it on my car.

Most places like this either have ridiculous membership fees or you have to live in the neighborhood. The staff has been both friendly and helpful when I've needed them, and i'm looking forward to purchasing a 1 year pass for my family sooner than later. On a slow day it's given us an escape from sitting around the house, or just going out to eat. My kids love the rock climbing here, and when the pools open in the summer it just adds even more ways to stay active. If anyone knows something similar in the area, shoot me a message, because i'd love to check it out.

The parking lot looks packed all the time, but the inside is so huge i never have to wait for a treadmill, and if the cardio room is full, then there is also an indoor track I can use as a backup. The weight room is not overly huge, but it has enough choices to where its not lacking. The staff are friendly and helpful. I havent even checked out any of the classes, rock wall climb or the basketball and pickleball courts, but this place has everything you can think of for working out at a price that does not disappoint. You can sign up for 30 days, 60 or 90 days, or they also have a one year membership if you desire. I am usually NOT a gym person because my past experiences with other gyms, were not so good and way overpriced. No one tries to push you into getting a year membership if you arent ready. The staff are able to answer any of your questions. they also have child care that is free (for up to 2 hours)

This was my first time here for the Annual United States Annapolis Powerboat Show, at the Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard, which was great. Downtown parking near the Annapolis Harbor boatyard was limited, therefore I parked at the United States Naval Academy's stadium parking lot for $20. School shuttle buses operated routinely between the U.S. Naval Academy's stadium parking lot and the Powerboat Show boatyard. After parking my Audi we boarded the yellow school shuttle bus and departed in a couple of minutes. We arrived at the harbor boatyard around noon. We reserved our 12 noon lunch at the Choptank restaurant on OpenTable. See my earlier separate Choptank restaurant and Harbor boat yard reviews. The Annapolis Powerboat Show was the largest on water powerboat show I ever attended. There was a very wide range of in-water powerboats here of various manufacturers, designs and sizes. Some in water powerboats cost over $1 million. Some larger powerboats had their own dinghy. You must remove your footwear before boarding any powerboats. See my videos and pics for more info.

The US Power Boat Show takes the boat parade along Ego Alley to a whole new level. Each October boaters from across the country converge on Annapolis along with the major powerboat manufacturers and local brokers. Floating docks cover the water so visitors can climb aboard the center consoles and tour the brokerage boats. This is the world's oldest in-water powerboat show and there are plenty of boating supplies, navigation equipment, fishing gear, clothing, and marine accessories for sale. There are also daily wine, craft beer and spirits tastings as well as Pusser's famous painkillers. Ticket prices are $18 for adults...if you enjoy boating on the Bay this is a great event!

The chiropractor (Dr.T) takes a very holistic approach to helping his patience feel better. So, it makes total sense that his treatment is complemented by the easy access to a whole range of different yoga classes. They offer everything from restorative yoga to special yoga sessions for prenatal yoga. Whether you are a beginner or you consider yourself a seasoned practitioner, you will definitely find a class that suits you. I love the beginner yoga class! The studio is warm and inviting and all of the instructors are patient. While they each have their own unique style, they all make the practice accessible to anyone, regardless of your skill level. During the pandemic, due to restrictions to in person classes, they have been offering virtual classes. I think it is awesome that they found a way to continue to offer yoga to so many people. In fact, it provides the opportunity for so many of us to participate that might not otherwise be able to go to the studio. If you want to try yoga for the first time, or you're looking for a new place to practice, definitely check them out. You will not regret it!

The first two sessions I took were all-levels yoga flow and the third was therapeutic power flow. I consider myself an advance beginner and I found the classes appropriate, with my preference for therapeutic power flow. A note to beginners, there were no adjustments made by instructors so I don't recommend either for first timers. I found the studio a bit cold/sterile. My regular studio is warm and smells wonderful of essential oils and incense. I will be back. It served my need to practice while away from home.
