I found out about this place on TikTok. Since I love Indian food and pizza, I knew I wanted to go. When I got there for my reservation, the hostess was warm and welcoming. The space is a good size with seating both upstairs and downstairs.
I started off with the chana masala chickpeas with rosemary focaccia bread. The bread was everything you could want from focaccia - chewy and slightly dense with crispy edges. In other words, perfection. The flavor in the chana masala was solid and subtle at first, but I found it got more pronounced as I continued eating it which I liked.
For the pizza, I ordered the OG with a butter chicken base, tandoori chicken, and red pepper pesto. The pizza was so good. The tandoori chicken was thinly sliced which I prefer rather than having huge chunks of meat on a pizza. And I really liked the butter chicken base.
For takeaway, I decided to get their saag paneer truffle pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors worked well together. I could have used a bit more salt in the dish but that's just personal preference. Since I had some chana masala chickpeas leftover, I decided to add that to the pasta and it was really good. I'm not trying to change their menu but maybe they can consider adding the chana masala chickpeas to the saag paneer dish. I got a chance to speak with the owner and hear about his story and he was really kind. My total for the three items was about 41 pounds (with service fee included) and I got a lot of food with plenty of leftovers.
To sum it up, good people, good food, and good prices. Overall, I'd highly recommend checking them out if you're in London. read more
