So my Wife and I are traveling cross country with our two dogs in our RV…read more Edgewood NM was one of our stops along the way. Last night we pulled into our campground for the night and after a long drive we walked our dogs. When we got back to our trailer I noticed that my male dog was licking his paw after telling him to stop and of course he doesn't. I took a look and saw that his paw was swollen really bad. We were very lucky to find Western Trails Vet hospital it was only 4 minutes away from our campground.. I was able to call them in the morning and told them what's going on. They told me that we would have to be a walk in appointment and to go ahead and bring him in. Once I arrived I parked and followed their COVID procedures and did a phone check in. About 35 minutes later a very nice tech came out to my truck took my information and then brought my boy into the hospital. Around 45 minutes the Doctor came out and explained everything that they've done. We were very fortunate that it was foxtails and not anything worse. They sent us with some meds and said we can still travel. The night before and the next morning was very stressful, because we are not from the area and our fur baby was in pain. I found that Western Trails was 100% amazing, the staff took the time to listen to what was going on and to help put our fur baby on the mend. Being that we are traveling it was great to find a place that cares and all of the Staff was so friendly and caring. This place is a great. Thank you Western Trails for your help.

I have been very blessed to have known Dr. Lloyd and acquired her services for over 8 years now…read more She is very knowledgeable and her prices are extremely reasonable. I have presented her with several types of animals with issues over the years and she has NEVER left me looking for another vet. What I like the most, though, is her approach to having me, the owner, follow steps to remedy the ailing animal at home and to this point I have had a 100% success with seeing my pets through some real tough times. A great addition to the services she provides at her practice in the East Mountains is that she finds the time to provide excellent and very affordable shot clinics throughout the county. A+ All the Way

I had qu regarding her ear posting as her wounds were still fresh and they said my dog was a "back yard bred" dog. CLEARLY they don't know quality.. I have my puppies AKC documents as well as her FCI and her shot records and they were COMPLETELY rude! I was in shock! I was recommended to them by my aunt and uncle.. and I will never again use Loy out her staff.. they were rude to me from the beginning and insulted my puppy without even looking at her. NEVER AGAIN...
