What a great little find. Fantastic atmosphere and great decor. Very warming, welcoming with lots of great natural light. Services was lovely. And the young gentleman was very calming and had great aura. The food was amazing and delicious I had the roasted eggplant and pumpkin purée with greens, everything else I saw being served look amazing too. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Loved the health benefits of the place. They grow a lot of there mushrooms, herbs and even there own quail eggs. Yummmm and enviro friendly. Yay!!

Even before you step into this amazing warehouse space you know from the massive wooden door that this is going to be good! The space despite being so big, feels welcoming and warm! Brick walls, lots of wood, plants hanging from the ceiling, cute tiles at the back.. I want to take over and make it my home! The cafe shares a space with Monsieur truffle.. we didn't see that in action but the big machinery looks really cool. And there are plenty of Monsieur truffle products on the shelves if you want to take some chocolates home.. Now to the important things.. breakfast! Both the ricotta crepes and the heirloom tomatoes with avocado and feta were delicious!! Coffee unfortunately wasn't amazing.. neither strong nor hot but maybe we were there on a barista bad day.. Would love to go back and try some more dishes..and hopefully we'll have a better coffee too! :)

I came here for breakfast on a public holiday. It was pretty busy but staff were quick to serve and very friendly. I had the ricotta rose water crepes which were delicious. They also have great coffee! I was sad that the cold drip had run out so early but they were very apologetic and made a great cappuccino. Will defs come back here again!

Our delicious meals and I was even treated to Monsieur truffle chocolate crumbles with my chai.. Nom Nom Nom!!

We dropped by on sat afternoon for a late lunch, I'd been meaning to pop in and grab myself some Monsieur Truffle chocolate and check out its home but only just got around to it over the weekend.. It was hectic on Sat we had to wait to be seated.. These guys have the wait well thought through as there is a front seating area to wait in comfort.. We decided to wait along with about ten other people, other potential diners came along but decided not to and headed to the various other cafés either side of this venue. We had time to spare and although we were at the end of the queue it was no more than a 15 minute wait for a table.. It's a cool ambience once you get inside, a big open space in what looks like an old warehouse, the chocolate factory is glassed off and visible to all customers no matter where you are seated... I loved this (of course I did as it involved chocolate!!) The joint was pumping, every single table was full and turned over at least twice in our couple of hour sitting.. The wait staff looked cool in old school denim aprons and were in abundance, well organised too as one seated us and prepared our table then took our order, another was the food runner and another cleared the tables. They were very attentive. Lucky for this as it seemed to be chaos in the kitchen as it was a very long wait for food and wrong meals were constantly heading out to tables.. We had time so we weren't too fussed and our waitress was very apologetic for the delay, kindly offering us free coffees which we enjoyed!! She even said it was unusually busy today and that set the kitchen back.. It is definitely worth the wait though, my husband ordered the big breakfast (that's his standard bloody meal when ever we eat out prior to 4pm) and it was delicious, even had a piece of pork belly on it- we had to share that!! It wasn't the usual big breakfast, it was unique and flavoursome.. I had the tomato, avocado and feta toss on gluten free bread.. It was huge and so delicious.. Lots of avocado and tomatoes that tasted like they were fresh out of my mother in laws garden, definitely weren't from the supermarket that's for sure!! Not shy on the feta either!! We felt really satisfied with our meals.. It's reasonably priced although my meal cost about the same as the big breakfast with a quarter of the ingredients.. I guess avocados are ridiculously expensive at the moment!! My husband is a big coffee fan, he said his latte was nice but a little weak for his liking.. I went with my usual soy chai latte, the presentation was superb and the taste of the chai was in full strength, only problem is I don't do caffeine so i was awake forever due to the huge big pot I was given but I loved it nonetheless.. Definitely heading back..

Tapioca with nuts, fruit and a wheelbarrow ! Hehe!

I had the lamb wrap with pulled succulent lamb, refreshing pieces of cucumber and tomato, delicious undertones of the sauce and complementary sourness and crumbly texture from the feta. The wrap itself was a thin white wrap. I devoured mine too and the hot crinkly cut chips were a bonus Our coffees were robust yet creamy. Great value for money. Good friendly service.

A bit tricky to find, but the experience, however, was certainly worth the effort to get here. I promise :) Upon walking in, I was instantly in love with the interior - a spacious dining area decorated with vibrant colors of blue, yellow and green; it's fun and calming... the type of cafe where I don't mind spending my whole day here :D. Humble Rays most iconic menu is the French Toast Forever (AUD$19). It's a beautifully plated thick French toast stuffed with vanilla bean cream cheese. Topped generously with boysenberry ice cream, nuts and seasonal fruits and garnished with eye-popping fairy floss - It was nothing less than scrumptious! Portion wise, it was ginormous and easily last me through my next meal. For my drink, I ordered their green tea latte; it was gentle tasting and smooth. Delicious! Short to say, Humble Rays does not disappoint in any way. From the gorgeous food to inspiring atmosphere. The price is as what you'd expect to pay at a fine cafe in Melbourne... heavy on the pocket! But if you're looking for a gratifying cafe experience with Instagram worthy food (that also taste beyond its appearance), Humble Rays surely delivers.

Annoying Brother loses some points due to their menu. I'm not the kind of vegan that demands that cafes cater 100% to my needs, but the menu here completely lacks diversity.
