After getting a ticket for not having a New York State inspection sticker, I went to TLC at 4 pm on…read morea Friday afternoon, and they worked me into their roster, treated me cordially, offering me coffee while I waited, and even moved my registration sticker to the correct place on my front windshield to avoid any future ticketing confusion. I highly recommend their service.

I received a coupon in the mail for an oil change so I thought I would try a new place since my…read moreregular mechanic was unavailable. They did a free diagnostic and suddenly my car needed thousands of dollars worth of work, most of which ended up being nothing. They said I had a radiator leak. I decided to bring it there, since they found the leak instead of my regular mechanic (lesson learned) at which point they did another diagnostic and charged me. I don't know why since my car was there two weeks before. $400 later to change a radiator hose. The first time I drove, the car leaked fluid all over my driveway. I brought the car to my regular mechanic at which point instantly knew it was the radiator...without $125 diagnostic fee. Yup, it cost less to replace your radiator then to get a radiator hose replaced TLC. Prices are very high. I did call and complain and they did refund me back the not needed diagnostic fee. But I wasted $400 on a repair I didn't need. Plus, the aggravation and having to pay again to have the real problem fixed. The staff was nice, I will give them credit for that. I will not be going back there. I gave two stars because the staff was friendly.
