I called Dennis at Transmission Technicians on a Thursday morning he had explained everything in complete detail of what needed to be done.. he reminded me of all the honest mechanics back in the day when my Dad would take me .. he towed it to his shop told me he would speak to me within the week. By Wednesday morning my car was done. And it was cheaper than his original quote. It's nice to know there are still honest mechanics out there. Dennis & crew thank you so much ... I would recommend these guys 100% to anyone who needs a transmission repair. Thank you again. Cindy C

These morons over-torqued my tire by double the ft lbs over 150 ft lbs! When the manufacturer…read morerecommends 74 ftlbs for my car. I maxxed out my torque wrench trying to hit the amount they torqued it down. Not only is that potentially damaging to my rotors I got injured removing it. I had to jump with all my weight on a 25 inch breaker bar and still wasn't budging. I eventually got them. But I'm not sure if I damaged my impact wrench. If you were stranded on the road 99% of people would never be able to remove a tire without professional help after bringing your car here. Never again. Also they quoted us nearly $2k for a job that we ended up getting done for $900. Edit to add: Just to address the owner's response- I never said a service date, so not sure how he's trying to "verify" anything. It happened. They were the last shop to service the car and it was only that tire they fixed, and that tire that was nearly impossible to remove. Whoever put it back on was probably being lazy that day and used an air impact gun. Don't try to fool the yelp community because now you just look worse in my eyes (and I'm sure others are smart enough to understand you're making excuses to try to discredit me). An apology, and a genuine offer to reimburse me for the service rendered would get you a lot further.

Marie, who runs the shop, was incredibly professional and kind. She kept me informed every step of the way and acted as the intermediary with the insurance company, which made everything so much easier for me and my family. What truly sets Marie apart is her determination and advocacy; she won't let insurance companies bully the customer. She made it clear that insurance companies are there to serve the customer, not the other way around. Her expertise in navigating the complexities of New York and New Jersey insurance was invaluable. I truly can't recommend them enough; they're the best I've ever worked with!
