I took my '78 Cad. Eldorado to AloeTech to see what could be done about a leak due to a cracked component that had been discovered when the tranny was rebuilt elsewhere. The tranny works great, but the rebuilder was unable to solve the leakage problem and is now out of business. Franco and star mechanic, Greg, had me come to the shop to show me the problem that would require the expertise of a transmission shop which they recommended. There was no charge for the diagnosis. I appreciated the time they spent with me and the detailed discussion. I've had previous excellent work done on a Honda Pilot. I received a quote for a check engine light repair from a one mechanic and the price seemed way too overpriced, so I decided to go on Yelp and find a car shop that sounded appealing. I came across AloeTech and read some reviews and I can honestly say that I completely agree. The price I got for the same check engine light repair was half of what the other mechanic tried to get me to pay for. Also, all of the staff seems to know cars like the back of their hand. I have been using Aloe Tech for 6 Years they have worked on all my cars BMW / Hyundai & GM. Franco's knowledge of cars is amazing he found an issue that the BMW service dept messed up on my X3 and after I left Aloe Tech it was running a 100% no more service light !!!! Aloe Tech has been the best auto repair/care shop we've ever been to. Just around the block we are lucky to have Franco. Honest and competent to the extreme. Take our cars and daughters autos as well. In some cases our daughter had gotten high quotes from their upstate repair shop to find Franco able to fix the car for half the price since he would find the real problem. I don't think I have ever recommended a mechanic in 30 years of driving. I think they are all either dishonest or too expensive. I have to say that Franco and his crew are really pleasant (most mechanics are not), and honest (does only what needs to rather than padding your bill with extras) and charges a very fair price.
