One never got back to me, the second one was totally obnoxious to deal with (they have an answering service from hell!), and RPM responded within an hour or so. Matt, who called me back, is responsive and communicates clearly. He listened to my story (I had done a bunch of troubleshooting myself) and gave me the feeling that he took me seriously (a good feeling and by no means standard). The guys who came out were professional and friendly. They seemed to know what they were doing and what they were talking about. The troubleshot the system and then re-charged it with coolant. The system works now. This was not a difficult task, but they did the job well and I feel they charged me fairly. I will certainly hire them again for my next issue and can and will recommend them to others.

The technicians were professional, always on time, and kept everything extremely neat and clean. Anytime I had a question, they took the time to explain things clearly and made the process easy to understand. They stayed on schedule from start to finish, which made the project smooth and stress-free. My wife works from home, and the team was very respectful and kept noise to a minimum so she could continue working without interruption. Overall, an excellent experience and definitely a five-star company. The office staff was also fantastic and very helpful with the loan process and paperwork.

He assured me in the letter that he really was an attorney. Do real attorneys have to do that? He also asked me to call him. Funny, last time I called his number, someone who sounded exactly like Howard Oven picked up. Sadly, I know Howard's voice very well because of all the harassing phone calls he made to me. If you read "not recommended" reviews here or on his "H.O. Services" profile, you will see that this is his normal m.o. What Howard does not seem to have grasped is that if you do not want bad reviews, you should not treat your customers badly. He also seems unaware of the fact that there is nothing wrong in writing bad things about a company if those things are true.

This company looks like the same owner and similar business practices just rebranded. Again maybe you get lucky, but ask yourself if it's worth the chance... Update: Since posting my review on google, someone representing the company has barraged me and my family with calls accusing us of slander and threatening to slander us if we didn't delete the review. If someone from the company is reading this, if you continue to call and threaten us we will make this a legal matter.

In 2024, Lamco repaired our HVAC system, during the initial diagnosis they quoted us an hourly rate…read morefor the technicians which was mutually agreed and quoted over the phone. Clarification was further provided that the technician would charge for the hours that they worked for (Initial Estimate was ~5hrs work). Once the work was completed, the back office sent an office for the amount for the whole estimated time even though it took less than half the time (~1.5hrs). When the invoice was received it was a shocker since based on the communication prior to the work it was agreed to be per hour basis. After refutation, the invoice was revised to a lower number but still did not reflect the hours the technician worked. Its been a struggle to ensure alignment - I would not recommend them for any work!

When hardware was available, I received a friendly e-mail for possible scheduling dates. Eric arrived right on time and got right to the job. He used drop clothes to protect floor and counters, cut away bath tiles to access old piping, ran new water feeds to a new, single handle control valve. Installed matching spout, drain, shower and matching decorative trim plate to cover the new control valve. At the end, Eric checked the valve scald setting to endure safety of the new water output. We were shown what he was doing as the project progressed, and he cleaned up all trash to our satisfaction at the end. Eric was here about 5 hours and was totally professional and friendly throughout. We are totally satisfied. Laamco has maintained our old HVAC system for decades, and recently installed a replacement system. They have installed a new water heater as well. We are completely satisfied with the technicians, plumbers and staff at Laamco. We highly recommend them for any heating, cooling or plumbing service or maintenance.

I'm writing this review because it can be really hard to find an HVAC company that's competent and…read moretrustworthy, AND who does residential work - and these guys are both. They installed our home AC about 20 years ago, We've had them come to our house a couple other times since, and *every* time they've been great. One time, we did call someone else by accident and boy did we regret that... but that was at least 10 years ago. Most recently (ie. this summer), our AC died during a heat wave while a friend was staying at our house taking care of our dog. It turned out that the owner was away for the weekend, so he sent one someone else that works for him to our house. They diagnosed the problem and got the repair done right away. The point here is that it isn't just the "owner" that's great, it's also the other people that work for him. There is always the caveat that nobody can work on "every" brand of AC, but if your looking for an HVAC provider, these people are great!
