My experience at this specific location was horrific, 100% unacceptable. I was charged $180 for a 2…read morehour booking which included access to any of the sets of my choice. I strategically planned which sets I'd be using weeks in advance & ensured to choose the ones that meshed well with the concept for my video & script. Upon my arrival which was about 10-15 mins prior to the start of my booking, I noticed that the staff was performing maintenance on the exact 3 sets that I planned to use. This caused for me to have to begin my shoot late (during my paid time) due to the fact that my PA had to move empty cardboard boxes, carts, and a host of other random items rather than being able to focus on the tasks for the shoot. By the time I began capturing footage, they proceeded to perform maintenance on the nearby sets that weren't in my immediate use which caused the audio in my footage to be ruined by their drilling and loud personal conversations. When they turned on the lights in the LED tunnel set, my PA and I noticed that one of the light strips were out. We proceeded to ask if it would be able to be fixed before I began shooting in that area to which they then told us that they didn't plan on fixing it until the end of the day. We then asked for a manager in order to try to request a partial refund and the guy comes out with an attitude and proceeded to rudely reiterate that the tunnel would not be fixed using the excuse that new lights had to be ordered and that they had to wait on parts (mind you we were already told by the personnel that the lights were there & that they just didn't plan on installing them immediately). He then refused to offer me the partial refund exclaiming that he was not refunding my money "because of one set being down" & snarkily said that I could come back to shoot another day. Anyone in production knows that this is an unrealistic remedy knowing all that goes into a production - my cast and crew had already been booked and paid for several weeks in advance, contracts had been signed & everyone was already in route and prepared to perform their jobs. Finally, to add asset to injury after all of this, their personnel then proceeded to attempt to capture pictures & videos during my shoot to try to use as free promo on their social media page without asking nor paying me to use my content. Do not spend your money at this location. The sets don't even look as stunning as they're presented on the website / social media and the lighting is horrendous if you don't bring your own. There is another location in Baltimore that is larger, more aesthetically pleasing & provides much better service than this one.
