Love it! I was very nervous to try yoga in a studio, but this place put me totally at ease. Beginner friendly. Comfortable atmosphere.

It's tucked away in a small plaza next to a spa on Beechmont, but there is plenty of parking out front. There are many rotating spinning teachers for this studio and they are all great, especially the owner of the studio, Tami. She is fantastic! She really cares about everyone that comes to the studio and that is sometimes hard to find. Also the studio is relatively inexpensive compared to most places. A monthly unlimited spinning membership is only $50! What a great deal! I can only speak to spinning, but I thoroughly enjoy the classes and they're a maximum of 10 people, which keeps it intimate. They're not fancy bikes, but they get the job done. Towels are provided if you need one (and you will!) You can clip into the bikes with SPD cleats if you have them, or use the cages with any type of tennis shoe.

Brian Magnarini taught our pilates class yesterday. Brian is an outstanding teacher, a stickler for proper form, and his instructions are very clear and his format is challenging with results. It's a small and unassuming studio, in a strip mall that looks like there's nothing in it, BUT this place has a lot to offer. Hot, warm, or non-heated classes are available here, designed for stretching, being kind to your body, easy flow, or a full on power flow class that will get you sweating in minutes. Honestly, I'm a fan of shavasana pose (because who doesn't like to relax?), so the power flow classes are great and really help me up my yoga practice. Bridget and the team are wonderful instructors. They each have their own style of teaching. They each are very caring in the way that take their time with teaching poses during the class, and with you as an individual if you need it. They have an online calendar and sign-up, which makes choosing a class easy too. I will add though that sometimes space is at a premium in the studio, and you have to be comfortable with getting close to your neighbor. If you're looking to change your yoga game, check this place out.

The studio is very welcoming - from the desk staff to the yoga teachers. There are offerings of hot power yoga, yin, restorative - so something for everyone. I definitely recommend checking them out if you are looking for a yoga studio. They have a great intro special for new students ($30 for 30 days).

Marta has been our instructor both days and she is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and runs a very challenging class (but I'm a beginner to yoga, so you may not have the same experience). I love how the class pushes and challenges all your muscles and then you have the 5 minutes of calm meditation at the end. I plan on going back as much as possible. They have a great, easy website where you can book and pay for your classes and keep track of what you've attended and what you have coming up. I highly recommend this studio and especially their $5 Friday yoga at 6:15. They have their own mats and equipment so it's great for a beginner like me

Then I took the yin/restorative class. It was 44 degrees outside, and the studio had the AC running. The room stayed cold the entire 75-minute class. A student asked about turning up the heat and ultimately left early because of it. Multiple people used blankets just to stay warm. The instructor even acknowledged the temperature and suggested we use blankets to cover up--yet the AC continued running and nothing was adjusted. Restorative yoga is supposed to be relaxing and intentional. This felt like the opposite. If the goal was a cold yoga experience, it might be worth making that clear upfront.

Keep in mind that they have very limited parking at the building, and reserve this for those who have a physical need to park close by. Otherwise you are encouraged to park on the street or in the lots near the bike trail and walk the short 1-1.5 blocks to the studio. Take the wood stairs up to the second floor. You can hang your coat and leave your shoes in the room straight ahead as you enter. They have a really great selection of interesting classes, workshops, and events. They are also very affordable, so keep up with their calendar online! It's clear that this studio is fostering inclusion and community. You can of course drop in for a single class, but many of their offerings are designed as a series. This means you can buy a package, and make a commitment to yourself to attend regularly and get to know the people around you each week. The space does truly feel like a sanctuary, and I like that they seek to hold the space for you to be as you are today. The teachers are there, with openness and honesty, studying together with you. I believe in their stated purpose to promote well-being, self-awareness, and spiritual transformation. This is not your typical yoga-gym, and for that I love it!
