If I could rate 0 stars, I would because I couldn't even get an appointment scheduled as a Groupon…read morecustomer. I paid for my Groupon and then attempted to call to book my visit. I was not able to reach anyone. Directions stated to book online, but there were no options online for redeeming a Groupon initially. I figured I'd just try to call a bit later and hope to reach someone. I was very excited to have my first reiki experience. I have had so many stressors in my life, and was on a mission to try different ways to find peace and balance. Being unsure of reiki, I figured a Groupon deal would be a great way to see if I like it. Dealing with this place became another stressful and negative experience. Very disappointing for a place that promises healing and well being. Anyway, I waited a couple of weeks and called again in some spare time. No one answered, again, but I left a voicemail. Someone then text me back in response to my voicemail and told me that since they were having trouble with Groupon customers showing up for their visits, they were now chargIng a $10 NON-refundable deposit just to book an appointment. This response took me by surprise, but I figured it would be ok as long as that $10 maybe went towards the tip or something. When I asked what the $10 would be used for, and if it would go toward the tip, the response I got was quite rude and unprofessional. I was told that if I had a problem with the policy, I could request a refund from Groupon. This is not how Groupon works, however. I was not able to just request a refund from Groupon because I had already viewed my Groupon voucher and Groupon policy states that you cannot request a refund once it is viewed. I've never had an issue with Groupon before, I did not expect to have an issue now and again I was very excited to book. Also, on Ase's website, it asks for the Groupon code, which you can only see by opening the Groupon voucher. I have a feeling Ase already knew that though. So after spending more time trying to find out how to get a hold of groupons customer service, I was finally able to get a refund. I have included images of the text message interactions with Asè. As a business, it is not in good taste to punish your customers for the mistakes of other customers. If you didn't like how the Groupon deal was working out for you, as a business, you suck it up and keep your end of the bargain anyway, because you agreed to it--you don't change the policies and treat your prospective clients like garbage. It's as if a pre-teen is in charge of this business. As a place who promIses healing and balance, you left me feeling anything but positive experiences. You should be ashamed of yourselve

When i asked him to explain something to me because i wasnt clear on the dates he was giving me he said "you are taxing my patience." They offer a nice variety of skill level and type of classes here. I love the smaller class size as it allows for some extra teacher guidance and adjustments. The prices are reasonable whether you choose to pay for a single class, package, or monthly membership (the later two are better deals of course). Check their website for pricing and class schedule. They often do special pop up classes (same price) so check those out too!

barre3 was the first time I have tried barre, and let me say I am a fan! The front desk was super…read morefriendly when I came in, and the instructors in had for both classes were encouraging and friendly as well. I was worried about not knowing what to do (truly didn't know what to expect in the class) but the instructors kept checking in and I never felt that I was lost. I took the Signature 45 class and the Cardio 45 class. Signature 45 was low impact, high reps, and cardio was a high-ish impact, high movement calorie burner.

I've struggled with finding a workout regimen in my 40s that keeps me interested and not bored, but…read morealso isn't so intense that I can't keep up. I came to a class with a friend of mine for free almost one year ago, and little did I know, that one class changed my life. Ever since last October, I've gotten the "barre3 bug", and have proven to myself that I can stick with a workout regimen between 3 to 5 days a week for almost a full year now, and not get sick of it. The instructors are friendly, extremely knowledgeable and diverse, which allows a full range of people to attend any class that is offered and feel as though they are successful upon leaving. It doesn't matter if you're a life long athlete or never been physically active, these classes offer many variations of the same movements to accommodate anyone. I've lost almost 17 pounds since beginning bar classes almost one year ago, and truly appreciate the value these classes have brought into my life. The owner, Jess, is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, so even if you've never taken any sort of barre class, you won't feel out of place or uncomfortable, no matter what class you decide to take... Well, you may be uncomfortable, but that's just because the workout is so good! They even offer childcare for those who need it and options to stream classes from home, which I take advantage of most of the time. When I've gone into the studio, the instructors are so friendly and nice and act like I'm coming back to see an old friend. For someone who has a tendency to be self conscious OR for the most confident person ever, you can rest assured that when you visit the Ft. Thomas Barre3 studio, you'll have a positive and challenging experience, which allows you to leave the studio feeling better for having come in. I promise! (Even if you feel like you can't walk the next day bc you're so sore!)
