I brought my car in for service and they listed everything they completed which was NOT done. specifically they said washer fluid was filled, when I got in the car it said empty. never rotated my tires like the receipt claims they did. When I received my car back after service the last time someone had obvious sneezed in my car because they was a glob of snot on my steering wheel and on my door handle. my daughter took her car in for her scheduled second service and they tried to tell her she missed her first service so her warranty was void. thank goodness she had her receipt from her 1st service there. Then they said yea I see that now. Seems very SCAMMY! The service department seems to be a group of dishonest people all around. I'm reaching out and explaining my situation in regard to my 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander vin JA4J4WA84RZ024949 with approximately 4500 miles on it purchased begging of 2024 from Easley Mitsubishi of SC. 2 weeks ago I took the vehicle in with 3500 miles on it and it spent about 3 days at the dealership for a noise complaint coming from the left front suspension area. The first day they said they don't hear anything and can't replicate it. I went into great detail explaining the noise. The second day I came to get it with no resolution to video the noise. I have the noise on video which was sent to there customer service person Gretta. The video was also reviewed by Grayson the "Service Manager". Both say they don't hear a noise at this point I'm frustrated. I leave work early to come do a ride along with Grayson who proceeds to say the noise I'm hearing which he supposedly could not hear before normal. So what ever I take the car home and here it is 2 weeks later the noise is getting worse so I go back to see my sales person Terry and the Sales manager Henry who have been amazing. Terry rode with me and immediately heard the noise I'm referring too. We even took out a 2024 off the lot to compare and it's dead silent. No noise! So therefore there's a defect in the suspension of mine. Tonight I have went outside and lifted the car up myself because I guess the dealer wants me to diagnose the car. I've been in the automotive industry 8 years I've managed mechanic shops and been in body shops for years. The vehicle has a bad strut point blank period can't be anymore obvious. With the hood open and someone shaking the car very aggressively with you fingers around the top hat of the shock in the strut mount you can feel the grinding noise producing from it vs the right side has no feeling when being rocked. It's not a control arm or sway bar link. They tried telling me the TSB I mentioned for the 2022 was a one time thing for that year and was resolved as if there's 0 chance of a defective part ever being made again. I get defective parts all the time working in this industry. It's the dealers job to make it right and not make the customer seem like there making things up. I've owned several brands and never experienced such lack of care for the customer. Then Grayson wants to tell me they can't just replace the strut or the mount cause it may not fix the issue and warranty not pay for it. I completely understand how the warranty claims process works for the manufacturer I've been in his position. It's the service departments job to figure it out. But instead I was told that's why it has a warranty drive it till it gets worse. So Im planning to bring it in for its 5k mile service and I will be needing a loaner car until the car is fixed properly and does not make a noise in the front. I'm trying to be as calm and respectful as possible the car is babied! It's spotless. I take care of all my cars and document all the service work done to gas receipts. The car has nothing but premium 93 put in it and oil changes set every 5k miles. I know the car bumper to bumper and when I know something ain't right then I know. So I was sold a car that was a complete lemon. I traded in a perfectly running car just to get a car where the PDI inspection was not done (improperly done) the offset tires was mix matched due to an old alignment done, (the car was placed on the lot to sell in that condition) the transmission was stuttering because of a "bad filter and fluid" they hassled me to complete paperwork to get the deal funded but they had the car for three weeks just to get "tires" and an oil change that was never completed until I brought the car back in because of the stuttering in the transmission, in which I'm not sure if they've even done so. Scott was completely rude which I should've guessed based on then previous reviews, they do not keep their word. Austin is "cool" he complements fashion and is patient enough! Mike was a great salesman but a terrible communicator but again BACK TO SCOTT. He acted so entitled, threatened to cancel my deal because he called and ATTEMPTED to confront me when I've been asking him to call me concerning issues about my vehicle but he dodged those request but allowed his personal feelings to intervene. As a car salesman "manager" Scott, you should learn how to manage your feelings because you sure do enjoy telling customers "what you do and don't like" I'm here to choose a car, not choose what feelings to address. I help pay your commission and you place me in a vehicle I'm not paid to listen to what you feel. Overall that entitlement spirit is just not it. I was professional, patient, and understanding then he got a nasty attitude because I chose not to continue with the paperwork until I was informed if my car was having a transmission issue or not. So he went around any way possible to get the paperwork signed instead of fixing my car, then to proceed...they've had my car for 3 weeks. I had the car 24 hours before finishing and finalizing paperwork just to notice the issues I previously spoke of, at that point they had the car (again) THREE WEEKS after I had the car 24 hours. They promised me they'd pay my 1st car payment because I did not have the car the entire month of June. And that they'd take care of the bill for the mechanical issues (as if I was supposed to anyway? ((Scott had the nerve to say I had so. I had the car 24 hours and called the same day because of issues)) Finally only three weeks later (again I mention) The car gets diagnosed, fixed and able to drive, everything gets completed and Scott goes back on his word. Refused to pay the payment after they had the car for a month, and trying to be insulting. Everything I'm saying I can completely back up with proof. I would not deal with this company. They are terrible. This is my experience with them. Putting the whole story out that way they can't justify the actions. read more

I went in for an oil change. I was told the plug was stripped and had to be replaced. After waiting 2 hours they finally finished. A few days later the low oil indicator came on. it was leaking oil. I took it back in. Instead of putting in the correct part they just put sealant around the part. Now it's leaking oil again. I called and explained the issue to Austin, the service manager, and he told me the next appointment the had was in a week. I could bring it in then, drop it off and let them work it in or come in and sit there until they worked it in. He made no effort to come up with a way to correct their mistakes that would not require me to wait days. Customer service is not in his vocabulary. I have also called the general manager, Mr Richardson twice. It has been 3 days and no return call. I bought my last 2 cars there. Once this issue is resolved I will never go back there for anything, not even a windshield wiper. Oh so disappointing!!!! read more

I have made many trips to this dealership but have never had a good experience ( not sure why I keep returning they never seem to actually want to sell me a car). The staff is not educated on the products they sell. Most of the cars they have on the lot do not have window stickers with prices. I have asked the price on a vehicle and been quoted one price by the sales associate than he speaks to his manager and he will quote something 5 or 10k more. To me you have to beware of a dealership that doesn't display the original window sticker. Many of there "new" premium vehicles have been used as a personal vehicle for the owner or his wife and have anywhere from 1k-12k miles on them. They also will ask above msrp for these "new" vehicles. Save yourself the headache and go to the Mitsubishi dealership in Greenville if you are interested in a vehicle. read more

There is nothing good about this place. This company (The Gilstrap Family Dealerships) had my car for 4 months and it's in worse shape now than it was then. The lie, contradict themselves, and make not attempt to apologize or make it right. The insist there is nothing they can do for the car and tell us to take it home. Then tell us to bring it back for them to look at, then turn around and give it back to us saying it's fixed when it's not. I would never recommend this place for anything. They were given plenty of opportunities to make it right, but instead made things worse for themselves. The head of the dealership will not resolve issues, instead he gives them to his son, Will, who will not take responsibility for his actions or the actions of his staff. After purchasing my vehicle from Easley Mitsubishi, they are the first dealership that I've chosen to service my vehicle at, regularly, because of their "customer for life" program. As long as you let service know where you stand on cost and only allowing necessary repairs, they will be most accommodating. I purchased a 2013 Rav4 from Gilstrap Family Dealerships. It was located at The Truck Farm, but my salesman was at Easley Mitsubishi. After I purchased the vehicle, I realized the cd player didn't work and my brakes started squealing. I notified Easley Mitsubishi. The service manager told me that I couldn't prove the cd player was broken when I purchased the vehicle (it never occurred to me to check it when I test drove the car). He said they would look at the brakes, but I would be responsible for the cost because I had probably damaged them. This was less than a week after I bought the Rav4. I was so angry that I asked to speak to Jay Gilstrap, the owner. Of course, he was never available when I called. Out of frustration and because I was going to have to pay anyway, I took my car to the Toyota dealership. I ended up paying to have my brakes repaired, but they said it would cost around $7,000 to fix my cd player because the whole electronic unit would have to be replaced. Needless to say, my cd player still doesn't work. 18 months later I'm still having problems with my brakes. I do NOT recommend any Gilstrap Family Dealerships, especially Easley Mitsubishi. They should never have put a vehicle on the lot for sale with the problems mine had. At the very least, they should have disclosed the fact that the cd player and brakes were defective. I wouldn't have bought that vehicle had I known. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! read more
