Then he talked with me about what I could do to fix the problem myself. On his dime. Patiently. Thoroughly. I'm definitely on a budget and have multiple projects that need doing and with little money, I have to prioritize. A dishonest person could have come out and charged me a thousand dollars and I'd have no way to know I was being ripped off.
