The guys did a good enough job, but given that they have sprayed for weeds several times and there's still weeds in my backyard, makes me think whatever weed killer isn't effective. Also there's a big yellow patch on the front lawn on the edge! Time to find a new gardener. They also leave grass trimmings everywhere. Luckily we get plenty of thunderstorms to wash it away.

We had grass removed, paver walkways installed and rocks were expanded (about $15,000 in total)…read more Overall, the work performed was done very well. The paver prep and installation was excellent. They had to cut pavers around two curved concrete areas. The paver cuts for this were outstanding. The rock they initially installed, did not match our existing rock. They indicted the existing rock would be matched the best they could, but it really looked bad and had small gravel pieces within it all over. Our existing rock was from 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch in diameter. After contacting the owner about this issue, she made a special trip to look it over and agreed it did not match. The owner fixed the issue by removing the rock that was installed and bringing in rock that was all 1 1/2 inch thick and a better color match. We really appreciated that the owner was willing to fix this for us at no additional charge. We have worked with some businesses that are not willing to correct their mistakes. This company did and went above and beyond to fix it. We highly recommend Rocky Mountain Snow Removal and Landscape.

Over the course of the project we shifted between 3 different project managers. All were easy to work with but somehow the owner didn't communicate our needs or our concerns. Concrete went in, forgot to route the downspout prior so had to build re-routing, left chunks of concrete in my yard and didn't sufficiently clean up, used small rock around the entire patio to fill in the gaps between the pavers and fence WITHOUT my consent (and will now have to remove), did not set up flower box drip systems correctly after I had asked for them to be removed from the project, and the best part... broke my rear house water spigot and tried to blame me (the home owner) that it was "about to bust" without talking to me first to determine an alternate option to use house water. They also tried to have me pay for 'extra' materials that Project Manager #3 had already told me that since I "paid for them, their yours". Last communication was that they were going to come back and fix it my water spigot. I'm sure you can guess whether or not they did. All in all, not a ethical company. I would not recommend them even if they seem as a good value. I'm furious the condition they left my yard, the added costs they tried to push on me, and the shear disregard for good service. The crew was on site for 3 straight weeks and it was as smooth of a process w a contractor that I've ever had. The process was fine in the beginning. We were clear about what we wanted and our budget. It seemed everyone was on the same page. We filled out their landscape questionnaire in detail and again, noted our budget. We are always weary of signing design contracts. Knowing numbers of rounds, estimates and being warned when we are close to going over the estimated amount is crucial to us. We made this clear to DL and had multiple conversations discussing our fear. Somehow, it still happened... Then Denver Landscapes came back to us with a plan that was almost 3X our original budget. What?!? They wasted their time building out such a plan and our money by charging us for those wasted design hours. All in all, it was a worthless exercise that left us very frustrated and feeling taken advantage of. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. We have since found an amazing company to work with. They came in within budget and have been such a pleasure to work with! We are super excited to put this behind us and enjoy our new patio!

We needed bushes removed, fence installed and concrete poured. Initially, we were very happy with the work. The backyard patio installed was stamped concrete with a beautiful red - gray color. This work was completed in the summer of 2021. Between 1-2 years after the job was complete, the concrete started to chip, crack and crumble in many places. When we contacted Manny, he continued to communicate that he would come back and fix it. We have not heard from him again after multiple phone calls and text messages. I have served in the Aurora community as an educator for almost 20 years and I find ways to support local companies. I'm beyond disappointed this didn't work out the way I expected it to. You pay hard earned money and expect a job to be done correctly. If it is not, you trust a business will make it right. This was never made right.

I feel like they screwed us over and now our entire back patio is slowly falling apart and we are out all the money. I think they feel if they continue to ignore us we will just go away :( As of today Manny continues to not return our texts, calls and pleads for their company to just please fix what was not done right the first time. He did come over once and promise to put a coat over the top and acknowledged it was done wrong but then never came back again or called us back that was over a year ago. I hate to even leave a negative review but we do not know what else to do, if you use this company do not trust them to do their concrete and ensure you sign a contract with a warranty.
