I'm not sure why I've seen a couple of negative reviews on the piercings and tattoos. Byron weeks who no longer owns the studio but is the original owner did all my families tattoos and mine when I became of age to get tattoos. The tattoos are great and always have been very clean hence his father was a dr so he knows how to keep things sterile. The piercer Josh always verifies that the piercing is where you want and is very friendly and calm when it comes to helping soothe nerves. First i RARELY give reviews at all fo anyplace but this is an exception. From start to finish this place is hands down the best tattoo parlor I have EVER been to or seen. Everyone is kind and courteous. Don't mind answering questions at all and I had plenty. It's was VERY clean and sterile from the front door all the way through the building. Once I was taken back toy my private room it was like a doctor's office. Very comfortable chairs or tables which ever you want to call them. I guess a combo of both depending how it's set up. You do need to go in a talk with someone fir a tattoo of any medium to large tattoo that will take hours but they do take walk ins for small simple things as well you can walk in for piercings as well. My arts name was Jay and he was by far the lightest handed tattoo artist I have ever had. For those who don't have tattoos what I mean by that is he doesn't press the gun in hard when tattooing which you don't need to do. Basically when he did the first part of it it literally felt like someone just scratching my back with a toothpick. This was a first for me but I went back only 5 days later so when he started it was a little uncomfortable because he was tattooing near around and sometimes over places that had just been done BUT they have some numbing spray they use to help with that. I had never seen or even heard of it. All the artists I'm sure are great there but I can only speak for Jay myself. He did an amazing job. Took his time we chatted back and forth to pass the time but they also have tvs in the rooms with all the channels you woukd want and even the apps like Netflix hulu ect. So I have NEVER given 5 stars on a review before but if I coukd I woukd give this place more. To sum it all up as simple as I can. It was professional, meticulousl, Jay was very attentive to details. He actually found a mistake i made thank God and fixed it before it was done so it was just an all around great experience. If you want ink or a piercing this is the place to go. Thanks to all the people I talked with and thank you for your time and a great tattoo that I have now. I will post another review with a photo after it all heals up. so about 2 years ago i got tattooed AND pierced here, at the time i knew nothing about piercings and tattoos. Now, that i have knowledge, i am extremely upset. My tattoo was blown out and i got it fixed by another shop. My septum piercing is 100% incorrect, not in the right place and was not done properly. I was nice enough to not take both artists to small claims court. read more

Well, I was ignored for roughly 4 minutes after walking in and then when I said I just needed a new piece, I was passed off to someone else who pointed at the case and said "these." Ok, cool. Beware. I had my tragus jewelry changed out yesterday, and the posts are too long. The piercer knew this when he changed them and said nothing because he knew they don't carry the shorter post. I realized it last night and came back first thing today to have it fixed. That's when I find out they have to order the right post and want to charge me for it. Great way to have someone pay for a service and then PAY AGAIN to fix it. Beware. read more

He wasn't very friendly and even though I asked him 103,820 times to be very calming to me to help me soothe my nerves he still rushed through the process. I need to start by saying I'm not the type of person to ridicule any human being, but 3 months ago I got 5 stars tattooed on my left leg. The owner was the person who did my work. I must admit he was a very polite and easy going individual which is why I was very disappointed when 8 days later I had little white puss pockets that started to appear on the outline of the tattoo and was itching. I thought the itching was just because of the healing process. The puss pockets made me a little worried. So I went to a physician and they told me that it was an infection that came from either the tattoo artist's instruments or the ink. So I went back to show them the infected tattoo and he acknowledged that it's possible it came from negligence on his end. ( I have 7 prior tattoos, never had any problem.) So we agreed to take care of the problem. But once the doctors referred me to a dermatologist, he started singing a different tune. So I'm now going to seek legal representation. I'm very pissed off. I feel like I was not only ripped off For 200$ I have now spent almost 800$ in hospital and dermatologist bills. So I regret ever stepping inside the doors of this tattoo parlor. I only wanted the little stars to cover up a scar I had that made me a little self conscious being a woman. Instead now I have bigger scars that will show on me for life and no one wants to take responsibility. So please, please, be very careful and aware of "the what ifs " . I never would have thought going to such a reputable establishment, that I would ever be sharing this horror story with you guys. 3 months later I'm still really scarred and itching uncontrollable. read more

Got my septum done not to long ago. He said it might be crooked because of the swelling and he didn't face me straight to see where he was piercing. I got no count done or nothing, he didn't clean it after piercing it. If I would've read the reviews before going in I probably wouldn't have. I have gotten two tattoos at Earth's Edge, and really enjoyed both experiences. Both tattoos were done by a man who (I believe) is the owner. The first time, I went in knowing exactly what I wanted and exactly where I wanted it. The second time, however, I only had a rough sketch. The staff at Earth's Edge drew the perfect tattoo and helped me decide on the exact placement. When I apologized for being a "wuss" while getting tattooed, the staff assured me that I was doing great. They allowed my friend to sit in the room with me, talk and laugh with me, and even take pictures and video. Further, the shop was extremely clean and I always felt very comfortable. read more

I have been here for many tattoos and piercings. I almost missed it the first time because it's tucked down in the parking lot a little. The staff is very talented, friendly and helpful with designing tattoos to suit you as well as educate you on questions about caring for your new piercings. I currently have 13 tattoos and all but 1 have been done here! At one point, I had 19 piercings and all of them were done here! Josh and Byron both do amazing jobs with piercings and helping you find jewelry to look great. My tattoos have been done by several artists and all were exceptional and never regretful pieces.
