We had a honeymoon planned for February 2026 -- or at least, we thought we did. Gretchen and her…read morecompany charged us a $300 administration fee up front, which she said was required for her to guide us step-by-step through the entire planning process and be available to us during our trip. It was pitched as a fully supported, stress-free experience. All we had to do was show up. From the beginning, communication was incredibly poor. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at first due to the wildfires in California at the time, even going out of my way to check in on her and her family. I chalked up missed deadlines to the fires and tried to be understanding. But now, with our wedding quickly approaching, we realized we had NO flight details, NO itinerary, and hadn't even heard from her in months. I reached out to check in -- and she left me on read. This wasn't the first time either. I would send polite follow-up messages like: "Hi, I can see that you've read my message, so I guess you're really busy. Can we schedule a time to talk?" Only then would she respond. This cycle happened more than once. But this month was the final straw. I reached out to start looking at plane tickets -- she left me on read again. I then followed up, expressing clearly that we were no longer comfortable continuing and wanted to know what we needed to do to receive a refund. We also paid over $1k to reserve our stay at one of the quickly booked hotels, so it was important for us to get this information. She never responded. Completely ghosted us. No explanation. No apology. Just silence. We were never rude to her. We were patient and understanding. And still -- she disappeared on us and left us without a honeymoon. This has been heartbreaking, stressful, and completely unprofessional. After digging deeper, I found that we're NOT the only ones. There are many hidden negative reviews that share the same experience: * No communication * Ghosting clients * People almost missing flights * Others stranded out of the country with no help She may still have good reviews online, but don't be fooled -- the bad ones are there, and they echo exactly what happened to us. This might be a scam. Use a credit card if you do move forward so you can dispute the charges. But honestly -- don't risk it. We're going to report this company to every wedding, travel, and consumer site we can find. If you care about your honeymoon (and your money), look elsewhere.

A few years ago, when we wanted to visit Jamaica, he helped us pick the perfect resort. So when it was time we decided on a last-minute Christmas vacation due to some unexpected time off, we called Jim. I tried to do this by myself but going down the Google search rabbit hole trying to compare resorts, islands, find flights etc. was really time consuming and totally overwhelming. Every site starts to look the same after awhile. People don't think they need a travel agent, but we wanted to make sure we loved our vacation and didn't just hit purchase on a resort we sorta liked online. Jim sent us to the Unico resort in Rivera Maya. IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED, and most important, it didn't come up on a single search I did on my own. I am so glad we reached out to him again. I didn't even know to extend by search of Cancun resorts to include other areas. The resort was perfect - we told Jim exactly what we wanted, exactly what we wanted to spend and when we wanted to go. He delivered above and beyond on all things. No detail was overlooked. If you are in the middle of planning a wedding -or just in the middle of day to day busy life - there is nothing wrong with outsourcing planning your honeymoon or vacation to someone. Do it.

However, after doing it so much for work, I now just want to go places and not have to plan everything! The thing I love about Charleston Travel Plans is that they do all of the research and have visited these places in the Charleston area themselves. So, I don't have to worry about looking up a restaurant and if all of their hyped up reviews are because they are all friends of the owners or a negative review just being competitors. I told them what kind of meal and experience we wanted, and they gave us the perfect suggestions. They also gave us an itinerary, so we saw the best of Charleston, but we also had time to explore a little. We didn't have to waste a bunch of time researching. It was such a huge time saver! So worth the money, I wish Julie was in every city I visit because I feel like she really cared about us having the best experiences with what we could afford and wasn't trying to promote things like an affiliate would. I think she just really loves Charleston and wants those who visit to love it too! I highly recommend her services!!!

She arranged for our flights, a hotel stay in Seattle and left us detailed instructions on what to do when we got to the boat. There were absolutely no surprises - only an incredible trip that was so insanely beautiful, we were gasping the entire time. I even think she somehow coordinated the pod of humpback whales that visited us while were were out on our balcony and again during dinner outside of our window. It was truly a trip we will never forget. Thank you so much, Judy and Premier!

If I could offer any constructive criticism to VI it would be the time it takes to get your reward check for the excursions. It is supposed to take 120 days from when you submit the request. Do not book with this agency…read more This was my first time using a Disney travel agent, and the only reason I chose this agency was because a friend personally knew the owner, Leslie, from childhood. Unfortunately, the experience confirmed many of the previous negative reviews. Leslie was initially responsive. She returned my friend's text and scheduled a call to book our Disney Cruise. However, after that first interaction, it became extremely difficult to get in touch with her. We sent numerous texts and made several calls with little to no response. There was honestly no benefit to booking through her. Beyond pressing the purchase button, there was no follow-up communication, no check-ins, and no suggestions or guidance for the cruise. We received no added value, support, or expertise throughout the process. We originally reached out to help support a friend's business and hoped to receive onboard credit, as many other travel agencies typically offer. Not only was communication nearly impossible, but we also did not receive any onboard credit. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would strongly recommend using another travel agency, as we found no advantage to booking here.

Let me start by saying: my trip actually worked. I booked a Wine & Dine Race Weekend package a…read moremonth ago, and was delighted that this was an option for race registration, even after they have sold out. Stayed in a gorgeous room at the Grand Floridian, and ran all 3 races. Everything worked, and I had an incredible time. What wasn't incredible is consistent with the reviews below--Leslie was lovely, friendly, and responsive by email & phone when I initially booked, but then disappeared. When I discovered that I wasn't registered for the races 2 months before (which, to be clear, was likely was not her error, but a system error) it took weeks to get ahold of her to help troubleshoot it. Similarly, it took 2 weeks for her to return calls & emails I sent trying to make my final deposit. I also never got a confirmation number for my hotel, which was new for me (though like I said, everything worked). So all this to say: the trip was lovely, and Leslie herself was always pleasant when she responded. But, I found the pre-arrival process a bit too stressful for my type-A personality.

Obviously to good to be true, but every now and then (three times in the past 40 years) we give into temptation and go hear about what they are selling. I was highly skeptical (and rightly so) when they wouldn't provide much information on the company itself except at the presentation. The presenter was very engaging and polished and had us giving it serious consideration. It really did sound great, who wouldn't want the option of staying at world class hotels, cruise lines or entire travel packages at 50% of retail. There were about six couples (you and your spouse are required to attend) and at the conclusion of the presentation (about 90 minutes long) each couple got their own salesman to answer questions and complete the complete the sale. We sat through the presentation, asked reasonable questions about the service and then declined the sales offer. The starting price was $10,699 plus $249 annual maintenance fee along with a $499 credit card processing fee, which the salesman assured us was only a one time fee if we purchased the travel package with a credit card (not sure why the do that, why not just roll it into the price?). Everything was very pleasant up to that point, once we declined the pressure started (slowly at first), the price started dropping (along with some of the benifits, such as how many "premium" travel packages per year, less family members, remove golf packages, etc.. They got the price all the way down to $3500. Once it became obvious we were not going to buy Mat (the salesman) started to get downright rude. Accused us of wasting his time, not being serious. I tried to tell him I "Never" buy anything the first day, need to sleep on it and do some research. Mat wasn't buying that, had to be today, no need to do research, even brought up their BBB listing (which we all know can be bought now, that rating is worthless). When I stood up to leave he finally gave up and asked us to wait while he closed out the paperwork. He returned 5 minutes later with a form indicating we understood there were fees associated with the gifts, etc., that they are provided by a third party and that we understood they were not responsible for availability of there use. The "free cruise" certificate never showed up, but they did email the $100 meal certificate which cost $10 to register, plus 18% to use and they only give you $25 per month which you must spend within 30 day or lose the next months allotment. No real critisum there, you get what you pay for and I expect if the free cruise ever shows up it will be of similiar quality. It is a good marketing technique. While I don't think it is a scam, I also (after reading all the other reviews) don't think this is a good investment. If it really was, why not simply charge $250 to use their service each time, that would let me try and see if I really saved any money and if they are really saving me 50% then I'd use them every time. No thanks on something I can't verify is going to save me money. I don't recommend this service, it just sounds to good to be true. Also, it should be noted that Member Services Group doesn't do the marketing/sales, this was done by a separate company, J&T Solutions, LLC (Travel), so I have to believe they are taking a commission (or the whole thing) on the package sales prices. So the folks promising you the moon are not the ones that have to meet your expectations.
