The technician from Davis heating and air replaced additional parts the other company didn't even check, and stayed until he got my unit running perfect and at a price that was a little less than my quote due to their honesty about needing less refrigerant than was initially quoted. I purchased a maintenance plan from them to take care of my unit moving forward.They will be my only call for future needs.

Then had to come out three days later for the SAME a/c unit for the SAME problem...however this time, they flushed the clogged drain and it fixed the problem. I am not disputing the service as the tech was very nice on the second call...I am disputing the cost of the service for the SAME issue for the SAME unit...their A/R clerk and owner of the company fought me on the price even when I was willing to split the $110 bill in half so I guess they needed the money more than they were willing to make a long time customer happy.

I called on 10/8/25, requesting an electrical diagnostic on my washer/dryer outlet to verify the voltage for the LG manufacturer. I was quoted the price of $89 for the diagnostic--a price confirmed twice. The technician, "Chris," arrived on 10/12/25 (after a reschedule). Without touching or testing anything, he immediately demanded an additional $200 fee, claiming the initial $89 only covered his trip and not the actual diagnostic--a clear bait-and-switch. I requested he at least document the outlet's wattage on the receipt so I could relay the information to LG, but he failed to do so. I called customer support and was transferred to "Kayla" in dispatch, who confirmed the potential for a $200 detailed diagnostic fee but could not logically explain how it was determined without the technician inspecting the unit. When I questioned this, she became unhelpful, displayed an attitude, and simply stated she could call the technician and cancel the job. He was already on site. I paid $89 for absolutely no electrical service or useful information. This company is dishonest about its upfront pricing. Do not use Eanes.

Finally, when I told him Eanes would be getting online reviews from me he agreed to charge $197. for the work (less than 1 hr) already done. * Note that 90% of the BBB reviews for Eanes give them 1 star. Also, when they installed a gas furnace for me the financing was 10% instead of the advertised 0% offer shown online. Wish I had seen BBB reviews first.

He was a no show and when I texted back I didn't hear anything for an hour and sent him a follow up text stating I would post the feedback of the experience on Yelp. He IMMEDIATELY texted back and said he had a hectic day but couldn't come out and said he could come out later in the week. Draw your own conclusions on contacting them since I didn't use the service this is based on communication and the lack of follow through on their part.
