I wanted a DIEP Flap and my surgical oncologist at Johns Hopkins said he was the best of the best. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with breast cancer again a couple of weeks later during the final checks to clear me for surgery. Dr. Albino went above and beyond to ensure my comfort during treatment by removing my old implants and replacing them with new, smaller ones on my request followed by a DIEP Flap about a year later after I fully recovered. All I can say is that my quality of life changed exponentially. I have the most amazing, natural and soft breasts again! I look and feel amazing. I'm comfortable in my own body. That's a testament to a truly gifted surgeon who listens to and empathizes with his patients to ensure their happiness with the ultimate outcome. When sitting with Dr. Domanski he saw my medical history, First he saw that I had factor 2- (clotting disorder) he proceeded to tell me about a story of someone bleeding out on his table...then said oh but they are ok...but this makes me nervous...you're making me nervous. THEN he saw that I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and asked, "Oh, can you do all those cool bendy tricks? He then proceeded to have me show him my abdomen in which he kept saying I'm making him nervous. When taking the photos of my abdomen he says - I will definitely remember your abdomen for sure, this is just for records. Mind you I am extremely self conscious of how my abdomen looks at the moment and I found this extremely insensitive. All in all he basically said I don't need him, BUT if I wanted him to tag along with my general surgeon he could. Why would I EVER want a doctor who keeps saying he is nervous the WHOLE entire appointment with extremely insensitive bedmanners to ever work on me. He then left the appt with "Enjoy your cup"- left the cup there, I don't want anything with your name on it. I try to avoid conflict, otherwise I'm sure someone else would have spoken up to him directly. I spoke with the office manager who refused to refund my $99. It's fine if he didn't want to take me on as a patient, or thought I just needed a general surgeon- but the whole appointment I felt uncomfortable and self-conscious. It's hard enough having a complex medical history as it is.

I have been going for more than a year for Botox. The first time my eyebrows had a heavy look and generally just look "frozen" despite I explained I would like them to be lifted not dropping that much. In any case, did not like it and the same happened the second time even though I specifically said to Dr. Cabin last time I was in I was upset with the result. They said, we understand, and we will do otherwise. I did Halo and BBL with no result, just trust me. I was advised to do fillers under my eyes, laugh lines and jaw area. I asked how it would look under my eyes and jaw area since it was my first time I was told it would look very nice. It was very painful. Next morning I woke up with big bags under my eyes. I thought it's just swelling, and it would go away. It was not the case. I had an international travel coming up in 2 days. I talked to Dr. Cabin, and he said he could dissolve it, but it would be painful as well and I would have bruises. I had to wear my hat for about two weeks because I looked awful. Then my friends who travelled with me advised that I would see a doctor in Istanbul because I looked scary. He was surprised to see fillers been injected under my eyes. He was able to dissolve some of it and I felt myself again. I was thinking of face lift but thank God did not do it at this practice. I do not think Dr. Cabin would be able dissolve if something went wrong with surgery. Ladies, please, please do not rely on and trust 5-star reviews and always start with something small and see the results first. I can't imagine an experienced plastic surgeon can't understand and imagine what will look right on your face before advising anything. If things can go wrong by injecting such simple procedures like fillers, Botox, etc. I do not want to imagine what will happen under his knife. I always choose expensive clinics by just thinking if it is expensive, it must be good and it's my face at end of the day. I guess I must pay attention to negative reviews which are buried under excellent reviews and then make my final decision from now on. I do not recommend Dr. Cabin for Botox, fillers, Halo, BBL and for any facial surgeries. Please do a thorough search before you end up like me. After the response from clinic I had to answer. I received a call and asked to remove/edit my review despite I have gone through a lot of pain and ugly look at the end as a result of very simple facial procedures at this clinic. I explained the trauma I went through but they simply did not care and i refused to remove my review. If you really care about yourself, your face and do not want to experience what I have just blindly looking at the "excellent" reviews. It's up to you if you prefer to ignore like I did and experiment.

One of the nurses, Anne, stood out in particular -- she truly went out of her way to comfort me, make sure I felt informed, and reassure me every step of the way. Her kindness and empathy made a huge difference in my experience. What really stood out is how the entire team consistently went out of their way to support me, calm me, and ensure my safety -- both physically and emotionally. I never felt judged, or alone. The level of care I received genuinely felt like top 10 service (if not better). Again, not something I was used to at the other offices that I've been to. But once I got inside, checked in, and let them know that I was trying to get lab work before my visits, they took care of signing me in for both and getting me set up. The lab tech took me back shortly after, and it was someone I knew from the Reston office. After finishing with the lab tech, the nurse practitioner quickly called me back, took care of the reason I was seeing her, and had me quickly on my way to my next appointment. I can't say enough about One Medical as a practice, and I highly recommend you give them a try if you need primary care or a new doctor.

They have a children's practice as well, which I am highly considering switching to as I can see it being easy to schedule sick and well visits, get doctors notes, etc. My company used to pay One Medical Group as a benefit but it is so good that I continue to pay out of pocket. I am so glad that Amazon has purchased the company to make this type of quality health care more accessible for all.
