Dr. Banou is magic! I lift weights often and her techniques almost immediately alleviated my trap muscle and tight upper back pain.

Her dedication to keep her patients healthy and happy is second to none. I've known her for many (5+) years now and her work is always impeccable. I look forward to every visit, because I know I will feel much looser and lighter afterwards. It's one of my favorite times of the week. Dr. Tala will see to it that you receive the optimal care for your needs. Her expertise and knowledge are well beyond her years. I would imagine close to a decade (10) years now of her practicing in the area. You can trust that you are in the best possible hands. It's worth it and I believe in no one better to handle the treatment of my chronic neck and lower pain. Don't give it a second thought, look no further than here.

I just feel that if I start off the month with her she can adjust me after all the damage I have done in the previous 30 days. I recently came back from an overseas trip with the worst back and neck pain and she was able to fit me in, do the adjustment, and then next day i was nearly back to normal. She is very thorough and kind. The location is great as it is off the metro or bus or there is plenty of parking. She is also available on Saturdays, which is great for my schedule. I have recommended her to another friend and he is now consistently going to her as well.

I'd never been to a chiro because I was kind of terrified of the idea of someone cracking my back and that, somehow, not leading to paralysis. Dr. Noya has been great. In the first session, he sat patiently with me and took time to introduce me to what chiropractic care is and then patiently walk through all of my fears. I wish I could get that kind of patience from my pediatrician... He took two sessions to really understand what I was hoping to achieve as well as completing a wellness check to show my what my spine looked like and where he saw areas for improvement. Then he walked me through all of our treatment options and their costs so I could decide what worked with my wallet and my schedule. He's always so nice when I come and very easy to talk to. There's also a new guy, Martin, running the front desk who's pretty great too. The trek to Tenleytown from Shaw is a total pain but I'm always so happy that I did it after my session. My emails have been left unanswered, texts have been left unresponded to, and the mailbox for every number for the office I have tried is full and hasn't been cleared for months. To start, I had a great experience until January of 2022, but afterwards, my experience with Got Your Back has been an absolute nightmare. While I paid up front for a 12-session treatment plan, I only received 8 treatment sessions before the office closed with the promise that Dr Klein would be in touch. Months have passed and I received no call from him. To add insult to injury, the office has sent repeated invoices for the treatment I already paid for despite me speaking with the billing office two months ago and them telling me to not worry and that it was simply a clerical error that they would be sorting out. Fast forward to this week, when they sent me a letter saying that I was delinquent on payments and they would transfer my (already paid) balance to a debt collection agency. They have been consistently unresponsive and unprofessional through this whole ordeal. I have received no offer of refund or completion of treatment plan, and instead been hounded for payment which was already processed months ago. Overall, it is a shame that GYBTH has come to this because the care was truly great beforehand. I only hope that this finally gets the attention of the office and catalyzes action. If not, I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

That's very bad for your back, some say "seating" is the new way to destroy your body. Dr. Dan offered a Groupon, so it was an excellent way to try them out before committing to a doctor's office. They also, offer the service of Mr. Park, the Acupuncturist. They are kind, caring and extremely flexible (pun intended) with their patients. I love the centrally located office, right off of Bethesda Row. They play music which is good for the soul, while they help you straighten out your body. Everyone, the two doctors Drs. Dan and Rosell, are very good at their trade. When seeing a chiropractor, you must trust them completely. You can place you trust in both of these fine doctors. The team that staff the office are made up of the Administrative Staff, lead by Sonja. Another key and vital part of the team, are the chiropractic assistants. They are a fun, intelligent and good nature group that only want to help you get better. Bonus points, they are very personable and love to chat about many various topics like food, travel, life, music and cats. If you are in search on getting in a better shape and feeling better, look no further, these are the best people for you.

This has turned into a serious and ongoing medical situation involving chronic pain, headaches, extensive testing, doctor visits, and significant financial cost. The pain began within a day after my visit. My doctors have described the tear as traumatic/mechanical in nature. They explained that vertebral artery dissection is a known risk associated with high-velocity neck manipulation, although they also said there is no way to determine the exact cause with certainty. Months later the dissection has progressed to moderate to severe, and I am still dealing with the consequences. From my perspective, the high-velocity neck adjustments recommended here were not worth the risk. I was hesitant about neck manipulation initially, but I felt there was pressure to proceed with it. After the adjustment I experienced unusual neck pain similar to what I had felt after prior adjustments, though this time it became significantly worse the following day when my neck cracked during a gentle stretch at home. That worsening pain ultimately led to medical evaluation and the diagnosis. Because of how serious and prolonged this experience has been, I strongly encourage anyone considering neck manipulation to carefully research the potential risks and make an informed decision before proceeding. This review reflects only my personal experience, but the outcome for me has been life-altering.

Dr. Meehan treats a good number of professional dancers in the DC area, so he definitely knows how to handle active/athletic body types like a sports medicine professional would (although I'm far from an athletic body type). Needless to say, within minutes on my very first visit (initial consult was just over $100), Dr. Meehan was able to discern the source of the problem (pelvic/hip misalignment!) He's great at showing/explaining the source of the issue and how it's reflected in your body in layman's terms and is never condescending. He also has a great "bedside" manner and gives solid (but gentle) advice about the potential long term work that can be needed when treating a chronic condition with chiropractic care. It ain't always easy or comfortable, but it's usually worth it. It has greatly improved my debilitating issue and my understanding of how my body works. Dr. Meehan is supremely easygoing and a friendly guy. He knows how to put a patient at ease, which can't be easy when having to perform adjustments on tense (and often in-pain) patients. His hours are convenient (I had no trouble making appointments during the week after 5 or 6 PM) and reasonably priced. My follow up visits were $55.00 each. He does not bill insurance, but if your healthcare plan covers chiro, you can always submit it for reimbursement. I finally decided to seek help, so after come online studying I found Mirando Chiropractic in my neighborhood of northwest DC. I received treatment from Dr. Mirando himself, and he could immediately tell that something was off. A few x-rays later, his suspicions were confirmed--thanks to the accident, my entire spine, from the cervical down to the lumbar, had been shifted around, pinching an entire set of nerves in my side, and my pelvis was tilted so that one of my legs was shorter than the other! Pretty crazy. Ten minutes, eight adjustments, a series of loud snaps and a rush of endorphins later, Mirando's treatment transformed me into a new woman, a better woman, or at least of woman with a straighter back and less pain. I returned for more weekly adjustments, and since my appointments with Mirando, I am in better shape than ever before, even before the accident. My posture has improved, my legs are now the same length, and it shows. Friends and family alike have noticed the difference, saying I look taller, I'm standing straighter, and I've stopped complaining about my back. I have not been in any pain for weeks, and I have arches in my feet again. Not to mention, Dr. Mirando and his employees had been kind, accomodating, and patient during every one of my visits.
