This school is rated very high and I am really not sure why .I have three daughters who attended this school and it was horrific ! the anti black racism in that school from teachers is disgusting ! the stigma for the black students that go to that school from the Toronto community housing community is disgusting making up most of the black community of students . my daughters both missed out on opportunities to participate in arts programs like singing or dancing as they were overlooked / not considered because they were black ! the only time my daughter was noticed is when she won an award and was in the Toronto to star , then vice principals like Mr Burns who actually ignored my daughter started to notice her , only because she made the school look good. The school had zero support for my daughter when her brother my son was murdered or when she was violently attacked by another student kiarah mcCormack or her sister Kayla Ansine who caused so many children harm violently and emotionally. The school did not know how to deal with black children in need of assistance due to home violence and drugs .... they were afraid of being called racist so they allowed the violence to continue against my family a . Shamar McCormack sold drugs to students and was known sexual predator ( arrested in 2020 for child porn ) , the school did nothing . TDSB not only let students down they also let the children of the McCormack / Ansine /mcLean /Brown family down as well . The children of this family namely Shamar McCormack , Kiarah McCormack and Kayla Ansine caused harm , violence and emotional distress to many families across differethe nt schools .... finch ave public school , cummer middle school to Earl haig and Newton brook and none of these schools understood how to deal with this family . Toronto police service , childrens aid and the TSDB all failed this violent family and community paid the price If you have black or bi rbi-racial children do not send them to this school it is disgusting. Mrs Goldenberg only had band aid solutions, Mr Grieves was racist and usless , he would back up his claim of not being racist because he himself has a bi racial child . They offer a club for black students to have a space to come together and speak about issues , my daughters could not attend as the time was used complaining about white people and being racist towards my daughters . When my daughters brought up concerns again nothing was done , no plans . the school had no plan to tackle anti black or homophobic behaviour in the school or to support students experiencing violence in the school . DO NOT SEND YOUR BLACK OR BI RACIALor LGBTQ2 child to this school ! moral of the story terrible school with very limited care or support for students who need it the most . Best teachers were Dave Bradley who cared foe students and assited many as well as Mr james ( basket ball coach ) . Hands down if it was not for these two teachers my daughter would not of survived her time at haig . This school sucks. not only that they messed my life over THEY DECEIVE YOU for instance, i bought with my money--- on their stupid lasagna meal which not only is overpriced but small AF I took a bite thinking wow i hope i like this BUT BRUHHHH they replaced the noodles with freaking cabbage and used rotten ass nasty ass veggies and weird substitutes instead of the traditional meat sauce theyre suppose to use. waste of $5 down the strain yeah i know its not a big deal, but this is just an example of how much this school sucks THEY DONT EVEN MAKE GOOD FOOD BRUH read more

mine experience at Earl Haig wast quite odd. I hath met a sir named Dongo who liveth under the stairs of wavy hall that gaveth me a tour. A secular state must respect all faiths but impose none. It's the taxpayer through sweat, sacrifice, and sometimes taking food from their children's plates who sustains the government and pays every public salary.
