He does his hest to provide an excellent experience so that he can get word of mouth advertising. I have already recommended him to others! We used Corvent to replace multiple windows, our front door, and build a new bedroom in our basement. Jose is very communicative and provided written estimates after visiting our home. His prices are very reasonable and he finished all the work either on or before the date he quoted us. He gave great suggestions for things we were unsure about and exceeded all our expectations. They provide excellent customer service and get the job done. They did a great job overall and I am very happy to have used them. We will continue to hire them for any and all future projects.

I commend Ismael and his commitment to quality work, and hope to have this resolved soon. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ismael sent his "stone guy" to look at work I needed done in my patio. The guy seemed capable, but was not. He damaged many of the flagstones, and used the sealing sand with rain on the way (major mistake). The sand was uneven and has been coming out ever since. Some stones have become wobbly and sound hollow now too. I contacted Ismael, who said that it was not "his" worker, just someone who did stonework. I am thoroughly disappointed in the work done. I want the damaged stones replaced, and the sand applied correctly so that it seals well.

I solicited several quotes before hiring them and Ismael's price wasn't the cheapest, but it was competitive and he was the best match for my desired work and timeframe. I had them complete a full bathroom remodel, do cosmetic updates to the kitchen, fresh ceiling lighting throughout the unit, add a wood valence to the bedroom window, and repaint the entire unit. Throughout the process, they were very flexible with design changes and the team felt more like a partner who allowed me to collaborate as the project evolved, rather than refusing to budge from a preset plan. I couldn't be happier with the work and I would definitely hiring them again and recommend them to friends or family. Check out the pics--they speak for themselves.

//5 stars for quoting process //5 stars for installation…read moreprocess Quote Process: Chris S. was the product specialist who was assigned to me. He was super accommodating with the first meeting time being at the very end of the day due to my work schedule. He brought all the shingle samples with him so it was easy to visualize especially because at that time I didn't get the official approval from HOA. He was easy to talk to and sounds like an honest person. He took his time to explain every aspect of the replacement process. Since I had to get HOA approval and get my finances sorted out it took maybe a month or so. Even then he was available to help me make the choice of the type of roof to meet the HOA requirement. I give Chris 10/10 Installation process: After submitting the deposit it took 1 week to get the roof replacement started. They call you a couple of days or so to see if its possible to start on the project. You are not required to be at home for the project so this made it easy for me. They came with their equipment, dumpsters and supplies and were able to start on the project without delay. One anomaly for me was my 1 day project turned to 2 days due to staff shortage which did not affect me. Daniel A from the company keep me updated on any issues or changes via email and phone call. They also took pictures of any additional fix they made and also the final product. Overall, the whole process was painless as it should be since replacing a roof is a big deal. I thank the BRAX team and crew for a great job done. I will update of any changes but hope the workmanship stands for decades.

BRAX advertises a twenty five year workmanship warranty, but when their own installed flashing…read morefailed, they shifted blame to the skylight to avoid honoring it. What good is a warranty if they'll find any reason not to stand behind their work. It almost feels like their warranty exists as an opportunity to generate more business rather than honor a promise, since instead of standing behind their work, they make excuses and then turn around and offer additional paid services to fix the very problem their warranty should already cover. We had BRAX Roofing replace our roof back in 2021. Recently we discovered a leak near one of our skylights that caused interior wood rot. We first contacted a skylight specialist, who confirmed the skylight itself was fine, these typically last around thirty years, and told us the leak was likely a flashing issue that should be covered under our roofing warranty. Following that advice, we contacted BRAX. Two of their inspectors came out first and confirmed new flashing would be installed. Their production manager, Daniel Angel, personally confirmed the same, that they'd replace the flashing and repair the rotted wood, and they even arrived with lumber to do the repair, then took it away without explanation. Today we received an email from Boris Cardenas, a managing partner at BRAX, saying they are not responsible, now claiming the leak is from the skylight's gasket rather than the flashing, contradicting everything their own staff told us. Throughout this process, it's felt like an emotional rollercoaster, we were told repeatedly that this would be fixed, watched them bring materials to do the repair, then had those materials quietly taken away without any explanation, and now we're being told none of it is even covered. We feel misled and deeply disappointed after paying for a full roof replacement.

I obtained six different estimates. I selected Ascension Home Contractors because this was a local company and I was impressed with the great reviews. The estimate was thorough and Jimmy took time to explain everything involved. Jimmy went above and beyond on this bathroom renovation. The tile work was excellent, as was the installation of the tub. I special ordered a cast iron tub which Jimmy and his team picked up and delivered. The bathroom was renovated three months ago. Since that time, I've had different people visit the house and I shared pictures of the bathroom online and everyone was super impressed. Ascension did a terrific job with the bathroom remodel and even went above and beyond to fix a few other things. They also installed a new window to the bathroom and it looks great. I highly recommend Ascension Home Contractors and I'll keep them in mind for future work as well.

This is the second time but first review that I used Ascension on a big job. One was for my formal…read moreHair Salon business as a co-owner and other is for the fixing up to sale my rental property. As what many people should do. I took bids for the contract for my rental property and invited Ascensions to participate. I had got as many as 6 bids. I had a couple bids that was just so low that I had to consider that sometimes going cheap isn't the correct way because I had a deadline and had to have good quality of work to get my house on the market with a good price. So I decided to not take the gamble and go cheap and slow. So I decided to go with Ascension for a couple of reasons. One reason is because I had a good customer service experience with Ascension Home Contractors before. The confusion was on how the tiles was to be laid on the Salon floor with stencils or not. Well after half the ceramic floor was already set and pasted on the 1200 sqft. floor. It didn't look like the way I wanted. So I told Jimmy the owner that I didn't like it. Without an augment as I expected from many. Jimmy gathered his team the next day and picked up about 600 sqft. ceramic tile and reinstalled it the way I wanted. The second reason is that Ascension is like a one stop shop. They do everything. They will project management for you so you do not have to stress and find other contractors. If you need junk removal, house cleaning, tree cutting, or anything related. Ascensions have the resources to get the job done the right way and fast. Yeah I paid more of the top end for Ascension but I had peace of mind and got the job done the right way with out the worry that someone may do a bad job or run off with my money. I had a few Handymen that does work that was not insured or licensed. So be careful about that. Those are the people that may not have a big team but will give you a lower price and you will just have to take a gamble with. Ascensions is License and Insured and it is a reason why you have to pay a premium when you want good work done with good customer service. So this is why I would recommend Ascensions Home Contractors for your home or business. Also Jimmy the owner is very knowledgeable and will inherit your project as if it is were his own and make the right recommendations for your goals.

However the marble itself was not good quality. I could not pick up the pieces myself so I had someone else pick them up. Nearly every piece I purchased had a slight crack and was glued at the exact location of the crack on the back of each piece. When I emailed the sales women about this problem she responded "I remember seeing the marble when it was loaded onto the truck, and it seems that it may have been damaged during transportation. I completely understand your frustration with this situation. Unfortunately, as per our policy, we do not cover damages for pickups once the pieces are taken. However, I want to resolve this issue for you. In order to remake and replace the pieces, there will be a remake fee of $250." The person I had pick up the piece did not have a truck, they used an SUV. Additionally, I do not believe it was damaged during transportation as it was glued on the back where each break appeared. I believe they damaged it during cutting or had a slab with imperfections that they sold me. Please take caution by picking up the marble yourself and examining each piece thoroughly before leaving the store. I will not purchase anymore material from this location as they sold me an inferior product at a premium price.

They worked with us on the design so everything was exactly what we wanted and the project manager Mark was always available to answer questions when the guys were working on the house. Kitchen & Bath Depot just finished a major renovation of our kitchen (new cabinets, countertops,…read morebacksplash, ventilation and appliances). We can't be more thrilled. We had used KBD before on a simpler renovation (new master bath shower) and we were delighted with their work, so didn't hesitate to engage them for this far more elaborate project. Why are these guys such great remodelers? Let me list just a few of the reasons. * Completeness: Except for appliances, KBD displays and sources everything that is required. You aren't sent around to countless vendors to look at their wares and then be the middleman in negotiating appropriateness, availability, prices, etc. * Design assistance: You are offered as much or as little as you need. But be forewarned, Rich and Olga are likely to be much more familiar with design issues than you - so that when they make their suggestions, you will hit yourself on the side of the head and wonder why you didn't think of these issues or ideas yourself. * Craftsmanship: With remodeling, everything doesn't always exactly fit together. Walls are not perfectly plumb, corners not perfectly square, ceiling heights may be wavy and floors are not perfectly flat. Thus, craftsmanship is required to neatly mount cabinets and appliances to that they look seamless. KBD installers (who are direct employees, not subcontractors) all made the extra effort to ensure that everything (even stuff that we would never would have noticed) was done right and looked perfect. Thanks, Tony, Walter, Mark, Raphael and Steve. * Predictability: You are told what work and workers are coming next; everyone arrives on time; and other than for weekends (and two snow days) work is done every day. Our full kitchen remodel was completed in just four weeks - slightly faster than initially estimated. * Neatness: Drop clothes and dust shields were laid/affixed every day. And no day ended without a through clean-up of the job site. * Price: As noted by other commenters, KBD's prices, while not discount rates, are very fair for the extent and quality of work being done - and below some quotes that we received from other remodeling firms. Further, you are not nickel-and-dimed for extra costs from minor changes or challenges. * Peace of mind: Remodeling can be stressful. You worry that things will not be done right, that you are paying too much, or the final product will just not look good. Hire KBD and you can put those worries aside. The job will be done better than you will have imagined, it will look beautiful, and you will be happy to have made the decision to contract with KBD.
