There was a fish fry going on but I'm not big on fish, thankfully they still offer their full menu as well. A couple people in my group had the fish and said it was great. My test of a bar is always a patty melt because it is easy to screw up but when it's right it's right and they NAILED it. The patty melt was so juicy and well seasoned and they did something with the onions (maybe slightly pre grilled) where they didn't have the pungency of raw onion but still had the snap. I'm home now and am already thinking about when I can go back. This place will be in heavy rotation for us. The fries and breaded mushrooms were standard bar fair but good. On tap the beer was limited but they had blue moon available which works for me. They have chili which someone at my table got and it is on my list to try next go around.
