Fantastic coffee which is of course the starting point. We popped in for coffee before climbing Kosciuszko and it looked so good we came back the next morning for breakfast. Only issue was how busy it was which resulted in a lengthy wait for coffee both days. But it was Easter so we forgave them. A must do if you're in thredbo!

However out of the options in Perisher Centre for coffee this is probably your best bet. They also have a decent selection of sweets and sandwiches.

The beer was cold, the drinks selection reasonable with enough for everyone. The food was standard pub grub, burgers, fish and chips, lasagne, etc. which is hard to get too wrong. All in our group were happy with our selections which were reasonably large and cooked as expected, I'm usually hesitant to order a steak in a pub but after a day of physical activity I was very keen for the protein top-up and was pleasantly surprised that the steak was a near perfectly cooked medium-rare, no easy feat when so busy and not something I usually expect given the circumstances.

The hosts Julie and Steve are very welcoming. Just a short drive out of jindabyne on the way to threadbo it is a beautiful location and very peaceful. The property itself is very charming. The room we stayed in had a very comfortable bed and the little touches finished it off quite well. The property also has a sauna and a plunge pool which would be perfect following a day of skiiing. For dinner we opted to dine in and we're not disappointed. The house made pate was beautifully presented and garnished with onion jam, pickles and pickled cucumber and served with crunchy toast. The portion was plentiful and the taste and texture just perfect. For main we shared a veal shank. The meat was cooked to perfection and just fell off the bone. The mushroom gravy was also delicious. We shared a bottle of French wine and were so full that although tempted we couldn't manage desert. The breakfast was also plentiful with a good range of cereals, fresh fruit, juices, toast and cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, tomatoe and mushrooms. This place is definitely worth a visit.
