So this place has a couple of massive advantages. Firstly there is no competition - it is the only restaurant at the top of the thredbo chairlift. Then it has such a keen audience - most people will have finished their climb to Kosciuszko and this will be the first source of food/beer that they will see so they are going to be keen. Finally it can lay claim that everything about it and everything on its menu can be said to be the highest in Australia - a pretty fun thing to be able to claim!
So in spite of this it is still a good place! I had an excellent skinny latte (highest skinny latte in Australia!) and then some delicious home made scones with jam and cream. And the views are awesome. A great spot post summit! read more
