Best place in thredbo! When you go into this cafe you feel like you're in the kind of place that you would find in Melbourne off flinders lane or in Surry hills in Sydney. Fantastic coffee which is of course the starting point. We popped in for coffee before climbing Kosciuszko and it looked so good we came back the next morning for breakfast. I enjoyed the pancakes with bacon, bananas and syrup - they were delicious! It has a cozy atmosphere and the latest papers are on hand for reading. Only issue was how busy it was which resulted in a lengthy wait for coffee both days. But it was Easter so we forgave them. A must do if you're in thredbo! read more

I'd love to say I had a good experience here. It's a really nice little Cafe with heaps of potential, but when you have to wait more than 20 minutes for a coffee that's been overextracted and has poorly stretched milk, then wait another 15 minutes on top of that for table service to order your breakfast, you tend to walk away less than happy. Granted, this was the middle of the off season, but from I what could gauge they had heaps of staff on. They just weren't able to get it together. 4 of us stopped by looking for lunch on a cold, rainy day - the place was packed. Found a table outside, wrapped the kids up in blankets and ordered quick. The food was great. I had an excellent chicken laksa. Kids shared a pho. Service was ok - not great, but they were so busy it was understandable. We enjoyed the food and decided to go back for dinner two days later. Dinner was AWESOME. By far the best meal we've had in Thredbo. My wife had the pan fried grouper and it was excellent. I had the grass fed steak. Super tender, cooked perfect & tasted awesome. They made a vegetarian noodle dish up for the kids and it may have been the best thing on the table. Stone & Wood on tap. Also nice wine. And the service was spectacular. Super accommodating and helpful with everything with the kids and veggie needs. Highly, highly recommend dinner here. Best place in town! read more
