The staff was friendly & very helpful. Our wifi wasn't working & the staff went out of their way to get it working for us - including bringing a personal computer to our room to help out!!! The price was right and the view from the corner of the hotel (they have a swinging bench set up) was a pretty sweet view of the river. I'd come back anytime I had a reason to visit Priest River again. read more

Rooms were very clean and nice. Quiet and we slept great, Love this place! Very quaint and cozy.

Wow, what a pleasant experience here. Friendly staff, clean Motel and room. The wood Bear carvings all over the property just add to the ambiance. He even sells them. We chose this Motel because we are tired of the same old same old chain hotels in the cities. We were not disappointed!! Oh, I almost forgot, their coffee is fricking amazing! We travel a fair bit, usually on the Bike so I know quality when I get it. Eagles Nest, don't change a thing! We will be back. read more

Eagle's Nest Motel - Hotels Near Me - Priest River, Idaho

I was doing a job up in North Idaho and when looking for a room, this was the only place available. Usually that's a sign of bad things to come since a lot places take advantage of that and know there's no one else around so the customer performance is sub par. Not this place , service was great, rooms were clean and well priced. Was able to get this Jacuzzi suite for less than a motel 6 in a bigger city . Very happy with the stay and it's nice to wake up to a nice view of the river . I told my wife I want to come back for vacation simply because of this place . read more

Eagle's Nest Motel - Cute jacuzzi suite - Hotels Near Me - Priest River, Idaho

Do not book at this hotel !!!!!! I spoke with Daisy the manager and booked - reserved 10 rooms for a wedding in September 2021 when our bridal party first started calling to book there rooms we found out she never held them and so now we have a wedding and no rooms reserved . All rooms have been booked she will not call back and when I kept calling asking for her , her manager became very rude ! I would never recommend this place they are very rude and dishonest and do not honor what they say ,then she tried to turn it on you and make you feel like it's your fault ! read more

The amount of unprofessionalism and gaslighting coming from Daisy is truly appalling. Just like the other reviews stated, Daisy tried to lie and manipulate us and put the blame on us. There was a mix up with a room we booked. I was not the one who physically called to book but I was there with my mother while she did, a few months before our stay. So we know it was not on our end. Totally not a big deal if they overbooked or something, and they could have just said "I'm not sure how this mix up happened, but I apologize, let's see what we can do". Instead, Daisy avoided us during our stay, lied and said she wasn't a manager/owner, told us that we were the ones who booked the wrong room. They switched us rooms because I had a (legitimate cardiac alert and response) service dog with me and wanted to put me in a pet friendly room. If you're not familiar with the ADA, it's illegal and the pet friendly room was more expensive as well, big no under the law. You cannot charge any sort of pet fees, or restrict a handler with a SD to a specific room for your convenience. Which at first we were also told we were getting charged their pet fee on top of the more expensive pet friendly room. Daisy said she was "extremely allergic" to dogs, but admitted to raising a litter of Lab mix puppies at her own freakin home next door! Allergies are also not a valid reason to deny a SD access. Being from Priest River, talk goes around and all of this is not shocking to me. All these people care about is breadcrumbing you for money and their business practices are sketchy in general. We talked to Sean after checking out to hopefully educate about federal law, as discrimination is a huge deal under the eyes of the law. Sean tried to say that because business owners may charge for damage from an animal, he "sees dog hair as damages" while we "may see a scratch on the door as damages", dog dander is apart of routine cleaning in hotel and lodging businesses, so another excuse to try and charge extra. Not really sure if he truly cared or was receptive. I would not recommend staying here even if you aren't disabled or require a SD. If you have any sort of accommodations/adjustments Daisy will lie and try to put the blame on you. Quite the nut case and horribly discriminatory behavior. read more

Normally we stay in chain hotels, but Eagle's Nest was close to where we needed to be the next morning. The decor makes you feel like you are in a lodge. The carved bears along the rails outside the rooms are charming. The rooms are very clean. The beds were comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping. The staff is very friendly. Definitely would stay here again! read more

The Eagles Nest is VERY clean, the beds were comfortable and the windows opened for fresh air which I appreciated. The room I stayed in didn't have a tub which I would have liked. They had wired internet and they loaned us a cable to use. I took away one star because I thought they were a little stingy with the towels and the shampoo provided was in a ketchup packet and not even close to enough for my long hair. A young couple owns this place and you can see that they have put a great deal of effort into making it nice for people. Overall though I was very pleased, I really was so happy to find this place, I stopped at the Spur and wouldn't even go in. I also checked out the Newport City Inn but the beds were hard and the windows didn't open so they were smelly and stuffy. If you get hungry, there is a great restaurant to the east about a quarter mile on the south side called the Village Kitchen, they were great and super friendly. read more

The hotel was pretty good. I had a service dog with me and they charged me $15 cleaning fee, not cool. Also, I am very allergic to bees and one of their customers had a huge trailer of bee hives with the bees, it was parked right in the middle of the parking lot by my room. Won't be back. read more

Clean, well taken care of room. Friendly staff, and good parking right in-front of your room. Motel is very cute with a bear theme! Also within walking distance to really good drinks and food and a morning coffee across the street. read more

This was such a pleasant surprise. We bypassed Sandpoint for 'quieter' and we are so glad we did! This motel is nicer than many of the great hotels we have stayed in on our 5 week road trip. EVERYTHING has been nicely updated! It is obvious they put a lot of work and thought into what they've done here. Paint, carpets, beds, bath (2 sinks!), furniture, TV, all is new and very charming. Cute carved wooden bears are everywhere. Nice homey feel and clean and neat as a pin! Highly recommend!! Will return for sure! read more

A little gem of north Idaho, away from the bigger tourist towns of the area. Great service, young family owned? Excellent breakfast, typical cereals, breads to toast and lots of coffee. I adore the bear wood carvings, loved the porch swing overlooking the lake and the gazebo. Rooms are tastefully decorated and recently remodeled. Super clean, noise proof rooms. Wi fi is challenging with the brick walls, but we found hot spots that worked in our room. My only complaint that I hate to mention? Bedding. Rubberized sheet under stiff sheets that were super itchy. The sheets kept popping off, exposing a nice mattress underneath. I resisted tearing off the sheets and sleeping on the mattress. Not sure if they were brand new sheets or overly detergent washed not rinsed starched sheets. read more

I've stayed at the Eagles Nest twice now and I have not been disappointed. The rooms contain a fridge, microwave, and a reasonably sized TV. The staff is kind and the service is very good especially for the price. read more

Next time in Priest River, this is the place! Clean, quiet, and an included breakfast with plenty of selections. Cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, OJ, Coffee, etc. Nice beds, just wish we had a tub, but other than that, it was very nice. read more

I have to say that from the outside, the Eagles Nest is not a place I would have considered staying at. Other than the cute wood carvings in the railing, it is rather utilitarian in appearance. The inside of our room was rather sparse and plain but very clean and that is always my number one concern! The front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast selection is rather meager. It will certainly serve you well for an overnight stay if you are in the area. read more

Such an amazing beautiful place very friendly people took very good care of us even when we need to stay longer after breaking down... I highly recommend to staying here very cute , quaint beautiful area and excellent accommodations. Thank you so much your motorcycle guests. read more

In life, everything is relative. This is not the Ritz or Four Seasons. But, compared to everything else in the area, it is five star lodging. You can go down the road to Sandpoint and stay in the La Quinta Inn for $185 a night. It won't be any nicer than the Eagle's Nest at $68. I recently stayed in the Newport City Inn where the operators were nice, but the bed horrible and the room antiquated. Five miles away is the Eagle's Nest. The room was very clean and appointments were modest, but contemporary. The bed was quite comfortable. There was a nice large flat screen LCD with many channels--no MSNBC, which I am sure is illegal in Northern Idaho. The proprietors were pleasant and helpful. There were three good places to eat within walking distance. I will not hesitate to stay here again. read more
