What a great spot! So many activities to entertain everyone! Really nice pool, giant slip n slide, kayaks, peddle boat, canoeing, playground, mini golf and lots of areas to bike and walk. Incredible fishing, docks and cleaning stations. Many areas groups can reserve. Beautiful views. Security is done well. Great camp store, laundry and bathrooms. Dump station and dumping services $5 pick up! You can camp in tents, cabins and RV's with hook ups. Very helpful accommodating staff. Loved it! read more

We've stayed here a few times & have enjoyed each time. They have a 10% veterans discount, which is always nice. We have a 37' RV so sometimes it's hard to find an RV park with spaces large enough. They have plenty of large, flat spaces, and it's always been very clean. The pool is cleaned daily & they keep beautiful potted plants by the pool as well. The outside restrooms/showers have been updated and are beautiful and clean, too. read more

Okay I don't know about anybody else but having a laundry room at an RV park is important to me I look for parks with laundromats. So the day we arrived I went to start laundry couldn't cuz door was locked so I called the office. The maids that clean the cabins were using them. Personally feel they should have their own washers and dryers but if that's not possible they need to be quicker about getting out of the way for the paying guests. Now I wouldn't normally complain about this, but we're leaving for a 2 day trip tomorrow I wanted to go get what I had caught up and clean welp guess what I couldn't it was unavailable so I had to spend my Saturday driving 30 min one way to do laundry very inconvenient and upsetting when I was hoping to relax and enjoy the last day we had here. The park is beautiful has lots of amenities, but they need to work on the laundry room problem. read more

The resort is absolutely gorgeous! The sites are large and plenty of room to stretch your legs. They have a family pool, tennis courts, miniature golf, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boats, soccer fields, boat docks, and fishing ponds which is all inclusive. The only drawback I have with the resort is the staff itself. We have travelled throughout the United States and have had the opportunity to stay at several parks. At the parks we have visited the staff are polite and competent. I can not say that is case with this RV park. The first night of our stay I spoke with Ariel, the after hours attendant. I explained I was visiting from out of state and had family visiting. She explained the family would be required to pay as day visitors unless they stayed the entire night. My brother came to the site and paid the day use fee. After he paid the day use fee, the resort charged him 80 dollars as if he was camping at the park. When he inquired they told him he was charged for my second site I had rented. This was after I had previously paid for both sites. When I spoke with the cashier, Tracey her tone was rude and unaccommodating. She claimed they did not intentionally charge his card for an RV site. Contradicting their previous statement to him they charged him for my second site. After reviewing several of the google reviews I realized the issues probably begin with management. Any time someone post a negative review about the park or it's employees, they respond defensively and do not take ownership for any of their short comings. In closing if you want to camp at a beautiful park with many attractions and accommodations and do not mind rude employees who will over charge you, than this is park for you. I do hope they correct their lack of customer service and errant charges because it is a beautiful park. I would love to stay here again next year when we take our annual vacation. The place wouldn't be bad if they had an ounce of customer service knowledge. Yelling and degrading your customers is not a great way to get repeat business. And it's not just the rude woman at the counter. Apparently the owner has just as bad of an attitude. Very unprofessional people. Once you get past the 300 rules and regulations it's not a terrible place but you need to look at it in person because not a lot of sites have much shade. They advertise two ponds but one is dried up. Boat ramp area it's just a nasty muddy mess. There were better sites than the one we had that would probably be OK. But for the price and the attitude you put up with it's not worth it. Maybe someday someone competent will on this and know how to treat people read more

The place is nice, but it's hard to get beyond the rudeness of the receptionist - who is the first person we met. She chewed us out for driving in the wrong place - but we didn't see any signs on a different place to come in. She chewed us out for coming in early and charged us an extra $20. There were places open and cleaned already, so we didn't cause them any problems. She also charged us an additional $10/day even though we are Coast-to-Coast members. The kid who brought us to our site was wonderful and friendly. The host just ruined the place for us. read more

This place is a ripoff!! Reserved and paid for a spot for a week at the daily rate of $45 a day. Had to leave per my business unexpectedly after 4 days and they refuse to refund the unused days. They will rent out the spot again and make another $45 a day. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!! No customer service whatsoever and will argue with you about everything. We were a last minute reservation but they did have a pet friendly cabin available. There were plenty of open spots. We booked Tuesday-Friday. I will give you by negatives, and follow up with the positives. The pool was very nice and clean but close one of the two full days we were there to put chemicals in the pool for bodily fluids. I was told it was a state order to do so, but must be something Oklahoma does that others don't. I understand the purpose but really was a downer, especially after our experience at the shoreline. We tried going down to the lake to get in and float, but the smell was awful. There were approximately a dozen dead fish on the banks rotting. There was one pond that was very low level water and very stagnant. I was worried about mosquitoes, but not sure if there is much option to correct this. I didn't want to float with the smell or the rotting carcuses. i do understand that dead fish will happen, but they had been there a while, not just something that had washed up overnight. We tried the pond with the kayaks, and learned by someone yelling at us from the bank that life jackets were required. There was no visible sign on the dock or the covered area by the dock where the life jackets were kept. The life jackets were kept in a plastic chest. Once people were done using them, dry or wet, they were to toss them back in the chest. The wet jackets were mildew-y and a foul odor. I had found the best one for my daughter but left me with a less than pleasant one. I would suggest having a hanging rack so these jackets can dry and drip in the wind. I would agree with other reviewers that the cabins were not at clean as you may believe. Upon entering, I would agree, it does appear clean, but very small. While taking a shower the first night, there was a small amount of water on the floor. The room does not have a mop, only the white towels to clean it up. water was soaked up and the towel was covered in dirt. I don't think the floor had been mopped in a while. We had picked a one bedroom cabin, which i was told had a pull out couch. We tried pulling the couch out but the mattress was a joke. it was plastic and not a normal mattress for a pull out couch. Daughter ended up just sleeping on the coach, without using the pullout. It also required you to move the table and chairs to the point that either the hallway was blocked or the kitchen/fridge were not accessible. The window air conditioner is pointed toward the fridge/living area, with no real way to get the the bedroom. I tried using a small table fan we brought to direct some cool air to the bedroom, with little success. The living/kitchen area was always frigid, while the bedroom was barely comfortable enough to sleep. The A/C was running constantly. I would suggest a second unit, or some other means of cooling all areas sufficiently. Now to the positives. I rely on reviews when making vacations plans or making big purchases. The bed in the bedroom was surprising comfortable. The kitchen had enough utensils that if i would have cooked, i would have had everything i needed. View of the sailboat bridge is great! Property was pretty well maintained. Maintenance man, Mike, walked by while i was sitting outside and asked about our stay. He was very friendly and I enjoyed being acknowledged. i didn't have much contact with staff, other than check-in and making reservations by phone, but no trouble there. It was very nice to hav ea change of scenery and get out of the house. Overall, If i were to book here again, I would have picked a 2 bedroom cabin for a couple and one teen daughter. We are in the market for a RV right now and will keep ELR in our minds when we travel back to Grove. We have never owned a RV before but the sites seem clean and level, maintained, but also affordable. The 3 star mainly comes from being uncomfortable sleeping because it was hot and the swimming/shoreline issue. If i would have been comfortable getting in the water at the shoreline, i would have given a better rating. read more
