Eagle Rider was a great experience for me and my wife. We rented a Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide Limited for a 2-day weekend and had a great time. Eagle Rider Miami is located east of Doral and just west of the Miami Int'l Airport. Their website was easy to use and Eagle Rider provided quick and professional customer service. This was my first time renting a motorcycle and my first time on a Harley-Davidson. Eagle Rider gave me a great overview of their bikes and answered all of my questions. I was told when I become a member that I would be able to build points and receive free rentals. After being a member for 8 months and ready to cash in my points for a weekend of riding. I was informed the are black out dates from September to December. They offered discounts rates for the dates, wh uh ch I declined. I know it seems weird to give a motorcycle rental company 5 stars, normally that is reserved for a fabulous dining experience. However, Eagle Rider was great!! Mr. B wanted an adventure for his birthday, so this is it. Joined by his best friend, the guys rented 2 BMW R1200 GS bikes to do the Miami to Key West ride. It was a pleasure doing business with Eagle Rider. The reservation process was great, we promptly received confirmations back. A few weeks before we leave for Miami, I call to confirm and they assure me we are set. We arrive at the time we had reserved the bikes for and they were ready for us. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. The paper work was ready, and they walked the guys through all the small details, they signed and initialed everything and we are ready. Deidre walked the guys around the bikes, gave them the information regarding the bikes, helped adjust seats, wished us well and we were off. The bikes were in great shape and they advised if we had any issues to please call. The guy who checked us in gave them his cell phone number and said he was available 24 hours. The ride was gorgeous and once in Key West we decide to extend a day. Mr. B called Eagle Rider to see about extending the rental period. As soon as they answered the phone and he gave his name, they jumped in and asked if there was a problem, were they okay, truly concerned that they had a problem. I am impressed, customer service at its best, something lacking in the US these days. They were great about extending the bikes and wished them well. Upon return, they wanted to know all about the trip, asked how the bikes ran, were there any issues. You can tell they want the client to be happy. We checked the bikes back and we were set to go. As we were waiting to get our final paperwork another couple walked in who had rented a bike for the day and they were thrilled too. We have had friends who have rented from Eagle Rider for cross country rides and highly recommend the company. I completely agree, it was a great experience. Great company to work with and rent a Honda Goldwing. We had one on reserve for the day after TG to ride to Key West and the check in and check out was seamless. The staff is professional. Helpful in answering our questions and getting us ready to roll. Had the bike till Sunday AM and our return was just as smooth. Called us a cab and we were on our way. Wanted to rent a Harley for my brother flying in from New York so he could join me on a Bike Trip to Key West. 3 day Rental was quoted $150 a day with all the extra insurance to be safe, so should have been $450 with tax??? No they tell me there is a $950 Drop Off Fee. I tell them I'm picking it up and dropping at the same place, No, they say, its a drop off on our side for getting that Motorcycle??? So now its $1,400? 2019.5.6 FIRST OFF THIS REVIEW IS FOR EAGLE RIDER IN GENERAL. This location is/was great, whenever I rented a bike and would go pick it up, it was always ready to go, and the process was simple. I do really appreciate that. I would be giving them one star if it wasn't for this location's good customer service. I was a member for over a year with EagleRider because the membership was locked in for a year, and that was no big deal, I paid the membership on a monthly basis never had a problem. I began traveling a lot for work (out of the country) and accumulated 15 credits at the time of cancellation. I did not know, as many may not know, that if you cancel your membership you have 30 days to use your credits or you lose them permanently. I canceled my membership in July 2018 due to my traveling, and figured I would just hold my credits and use them whenever I have the chance, so this past week I was planning to schedule 3 days of rental and I have 0 credits in my account, so I contact EagleRider and they tell me it reads in the terms of service that you lose your credits after 30 days of canceling. NOBODY EVER READS THE TERMS OF SERVICE!!!!! Yes it is my fault for not reading the terms of service, but as a "good company" with "good customer service," they should at least notify at cancellation or email you stating "you have 30 days from today to use your credits or you will lose them", but they don't. Finally, I got in contact with someone in "Club" and the lady was extremely rude, did not care that I was losing the $435 of credits, she was offering me 3 months of free credits if I started back up again. I will never again start a membership with EagleRider unless I am credited back those $435 or 15 credits and I will be more than happy to continue my membership. IF YOU ARE TO SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP MAKE SURE YOU READ EVERY LAST WORD IN THE MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT AND TERMS OF SERVICE. 2019.5.10 Responding to the owners response: i did contact club@eaglerider.com, then the woman i spoke to on the phone (because they never responded to my email at that point) basically told me "you didnt read the terms of service, and there is nothing we could do to return the 15 credits you had, if you want we could give you 3 credits to start a membership back up". I have rented from Eagle rider in several locations across the country including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Los Vegas, Flagstaff AZ and always found the bikes to be clean, serviced and safe. I also found the staff attentive, helpful and friendly. They "rent dreams" after all. Unfortunately today the Miami location failed on all counts. I rented a Black 2013 Harley. "Lucky 13 " indeed. It was a little damaged when I picked it up, dents in the front fender, scratches here and there. It was also dirty, lots of rusted bolts and corroded parts in the engine... strange considering the state of every other bike I have rented was mint. I decided to ignore it, against my instinct. After riding about 40 minutes the trouble started. The rear brakes grinded to a stop. I'm no mechanic, but the pads had been ground down to nothing. Horrible and unsafe but i was well on my way to Key West I decided to travel on leaning on the front brakes. Then I put on the radio to change the mood. It would cut out 20 to 30 times a minute. That sucks! No road tunes? The indash speakers are 80 of the reason I rented this model... All of this I could have forgiven but when I returned it the dude behind the counter was a bit if a dick. I wasnt expecting compensation for getting a dirty, unsafe bike with a non functional stereo, but I also wasnt expected to be treated with skepticism and accusational innuendo. To cap it off, the courtesy ride to the airport that every other location offers? Completely denied. SanFran office called a black car for me, these guys called a cab after dimissing my ask for a ride saying they were too busy. No other customers in the shop and the shuttle oarked out front. I've rented bikes several times, I'm a club member, but I have called for 2 weeks straight. Left messages and get zero return calls. The customer service department when you call in is zero service. You leave messages and I guess they go nowhere. It's ashame because I have rented many times and loved the club till this last 2 weeks. I rented a bike on their website as instructed via their voicemail (they don't pickup the phone) When I arrived, I was told there was no inventory of low riders and I would have to take a full dresser. I declined. All the while the staff blamed the issues on "corporate." I have rented from other Eaglerider locations, but this was the 1st time from the Miami location. My reservation was made online. I was sent an email about checking in online and a rider video orientation about the motorcycle because on the Covid 19 concerns and wipe downs etc. When I reserved the bike the day of pickup a thunderstorm and rain front came in. I called directly to Miami location and spoke to Merrie and asked about modifying my reservation due to not wanting to drive an hour to location in the rain and then riding back in a storm. She said no problem and they would have the bike ready in the morning. Sure enough I arrived the next day and my bike was outside with my name on it, I checked in online and had watched the video and Merrie came out with mask and gloves and sprayed and wiped the bike down. She gave me the keys and asked if I had any other questions about bike and said have a safe trip. I went in store to use restroom and social distance was in effect. It was my Birthday and as a Eaglerider member this was the first time to take advantage of a free birthday credit benefit. The ride went well and I went out Tamiami trail US 41 through the Everglades National Park. I stopped near Everglades City and found out my Keys had come out of my pocket (Put them in your cargo bag & not on your person - a lesson learned), so the bike can't be started. Fortunately, I had taken out the Roadside Assistance Coverage for emergency service or tow. Unfortunately, where I was did not have good phone service and had to walk a distance to get limited service. I called Eaglerider Miami and spoke to Merrie and told her my situation and she said to call the Roadside service. I explained the cell service problem and I would try to call, but gave her my location in case I couldn't get another signal to call out for her to inform them. Luckly, I got through and was informed she had contacted them and a tow would be coming. When the tow truck came I tried to call Merrie at Eaglerider Miami and had no cell service ( T-mobile) or the driver (Verizon) with another phone. We got bike secure and started towards Miami. As soon as we got service, we stopped and called Merrie to tell her about what time we would arrive. She said they didn't have a spare set of keys for that bike, but she would have another bike ready for me to get back on the road. Unfortunately, it had taken because of my location a while to get a truck to me and then the ride time back to Miami that I declined the bike and ended my reservation. When we got there it was closing time and we got the bike back in the shop. I thanked her for all the help and she said she would check with her boss to see how they could help me out. I was called the next day and informed that her boss would return two credits ( my other 2 days) to my Eaglerider account and give me a $100 store credit for a future ride. It was not the kind of Birthday weekend I planned for. However, I learned a few lessons about securing the key, bring a portable charger or powerpack for phone because my phone battery died from roaming while waiting for service, and take out the Roadside Assistance Coverage ( my 1st time doing that on a reservation, imagine the cost if I didn't). Lastly, I was given outstanding professional service and care from Eaglerider Miami (Merrie) and the staff. Thank you for all you did and I will be riding from there again. read more

I made reservation a month ago to rent a HD trike in portland to take a 92 year old for his last Motorcycle ride on his Birthday. General Manager from Eaglerider portland calls a week before picking up the bike. (after I made plane reservation) He will not have one available. (They had plenty of time to acquire one) Poor management on Eagle Riders part. ( no customer service) On Eaglerider part. When I made the reservation in San Diego It's obvious that Eaglerider San Diego did not check to see if the Trike would be in Portlands inventory. However they had no problem taking my Credit Card.. I made it very clear when I made the reservation A trike would be the only bike that could work,, So do you think eaglerider will reimburse me, for the dollars I'm out of for plane ticket I ? I'm not the only one getting bad customer service, just look at the reviews from different people that have been screwed over by Eaglerider. Bad attitude and poorly maintained bikes. We rented two bikes for a couple of days. Both had broken-off parts. One with sharp metal bits sticking out (a BMW power outlet). The GPS was barely working, and had to be turned off/back on to respond. Dirty, with rusted bits. The other bike was even worse - poorly maintained, and making grinding noises when applying the brakes. Upon returning the bikes, we forgot an item within the store. Noticed it straight after, called, and was told it's there - agreed to pick up the next day. Called the next day - denied knowing anything about said item, but promised to call back. Never did. Called them again, was given the run-around. Never again. read more

I rented the MP3 from them and it was a blast to ride around oceans drive and brickell ave. They also came and picked me up from my hotel and dropped me off. Found them online and based on previous reviews, decided to check them out. Picked a bike from the online options and the reservation was a breeze. Got in a little later than what i mentioned in the reservation, but the guys had the bike ready at the door. Quick paperwork, pick of helmets, jacket, eye-protection, walk thru on the bike features, Florida riding rules plus general safety and i was out the door. Had a great time to Key Largo and back - the guys gave me couple of scenic road directions which were great. Called in 10mins before closing time and the guys were again cool about letting me keep the bike overnite and adding another rider. But then i decided against it, and returned the bike - the guys waited the extra 15mins past closing time to let me return the bike - no hassels or attitude. The two front office were super cool. It is highly unlikely that I will rent another motorcycle through EagleRider again. In the past I rented directly through the dealerships and have never had an issue. This was my first time using EagleRider. I had previously walked into the dealerships and rented on the spot. This time around I had to schedule a rental date. For me that is a turn off. I rented the bike through Laconia in NH. The bike was filthy, there was no walk around to inspect the bike or go over features. The only reason this review got a two star was because the ride that I took was wonderful, aside from that this entire experience was unpleasant. read more

Went down to Texas to visit my son who had a 2018 Street Glide reserved for me for over a month. got to the dealership (Cowboy-Austin) and was told a group from 'corporate' took all the Street Glides the night before, had to take a lesser or bigger model- took the lesser with plenty of issues- also took the bike for 2 days less than planned at pick-up and was told we would be refunded when the bike was returned. Returned the bike early and my son was told he would be refunded for the days not rented. B F'n S. My son is now battling with ER to get his refund- they wouldn't take his calls till he said he would become a member and has been told there will be no refund, only in-store credits for a future rental. Rented direct from Cowboy in the past- no issues. Eagle Rider is a money sucking BS company, I will never deal with them again, think long and hard before you agree to their BS deal, they don't deliver PERIOD read more

WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. My husband rented 2 bikes through this crappy outfit as a graduation gift for his son (Jacksonville, FL area). He was going to fly down and they were going to spend a couple days riding. He made the reservation 2 months in advance. 3 days before the flight to leave he gets a call saying 1- they don't even offer to rent the bikes he reserved (even though his reservation contained pictures of the bikes he supposedly reserved) and 2 - the scheduled pick up time would be pushed back 2 hours. Then, when he tried to cancel they would not refund his money and would only give him store credit. The person on the phone explained he could use the credit at the harley dealership but when he got the cancellation papers it clearly stated the credit could only be used for a future rental. As if we would even consider doing business with them again. So, the bottom line is they are a bait and switch operation that will steal your money if you refuse to settle for something you never wanted in the first place. Avoid them at all costs. read more

Horrible service! They do know their stuff and have great rates but need to work on their customer service. Each employee tells you a different story. They claim on their advertisement they provide pick up and drop off service but then give you a story about how their driver is not available and etc. The rental process is very convenient and have great bikes to choose from.
