This place is falling apart. The staircase rusty metal is pealing off of the staircase. The ball machine barely works, and if only one works and there is a line halfway down the path. And sometimes they will give you a ticket when there isn't even a spot. This is a major health violation. read more

"no driving range balls until 4:30". we come back at 5:00 and a new sign is out "no balls until 6:15" and when we asked the idiot at the counter why there isn't balls he says "didnt you read the sign?". Eaglequest has a good variety of activities including the driving range, soccer golf, putting and pitching area, mini golf and 9 holes green. I usually come here to practice at their driving range but recently played at their 9 holes as well with their groupon deal. Booking the tee time was easy and it's great for beginners as there are no dress codes. A great place for some golf practice but they can definitely do a little clean up in all the spiders on top of each of the driving range stalls. read more

It's good for a bucket of balls on a work lunch, which is what I do. The road to Eaglequest, and just getting to this driving range is hidden. You think that just cause you see it on the side of Highway 1, that it's just an exit, and your there, nope not exactly, as you have to know how to drive into the road before you get to your destination. The prices are a little higher than the other driving ranges I go to, but due to proximity to work, this is a good lunch hour wasted! If you come here for the summer deals, burger, beer and balls, when they do that promotion, is when I come here, then they get the 3 stars as above. Eaglequest Driving Range is an awesome place to bring the family for an afternoon of mini golf. A very nice putting and chipping area. They also have a mini putt putt. $6.95 for a bucket of balls. Quite expensive compared to other driving ranges. But purchasing a membership card comes with perks. The mats are not as bad as the other driving ranges I go to. Artificial turf, so the ball rolls a few extra yards. The targets are clearly marked. Keep an eye out for balls clearing the side of the net. There's only one way in and out and that's through the right side of the driving range. And occasionally, there are balls clearing the side of the net from the second level and can potentially hit your vehicle if you're either coming or leaving. I like this course. That being said, it's really great for beginners because it's inexpensive , it's 8 holes and it's unlimited golfing for one day . The people at the desk are friendly but not super attentive which is fine . They sell everything you need there . The course is clean and it can get busy . I would say it's great "bang for your buck" type of place for people who want to learn . Additionally there is currently a half off groupon 2 people for $20 and 4 people for $40 (so 50 percent off). If you want to go through a few times that's fine and at no additional cost . Mini golf and driving range is also available . Never eaten there but it looks pretty basic and casual . Enjoy ! Great family / beginner spot for golf but you probably wouldn't like it if you are new or rusty it's actually perfect . Great for kids and groups too . Update: we used the driving range just after the Covid stuff and it's done really well. Perfectly spaced out even though it was super busy . You call ahead from the parking lot. 60 balls for $7.99. Had a really fun day even though it was raining we stayed dry . Great spot and safely operated. It's busy but you'll more than likely get a spot even on busy days. read more

I came to Eaglequest for their driving range with a buddy of mine to pass some time. First of all I'm not sure what "award" they won but it does state "Award Winning Driving Range". I've heard of award winning golf courses, but driving ranges? Seriously? How does one win such an award? Especially when the entire top level of this range has no heaters when practically every other range in the Lower Mainland has timed heaters available regardless of which level you're teeing off from. Perhaps it's the patches of blue they paint parts of the field to signify water hazards? Wow it really is unimpressive. I've tried their driving range, cafe, and 9-hole golf course. The driving range is artificial turf but the mats are in pretty good condition. The cafe is fairly standard (beer, juice, chocolate bars, nachos, fries, etc), but they have a nice patio. The 9-hole course is all par 3. It's literally situated between a dump and a highway but it manages to be totally beautiful and lush regardless. I played my first few games ever on this course and I thought it was a great introduction to the sport. You can get away with just a putter, 9 or 7 iron, and a pitching wedge/chipper if you're fairly athletic. read more

We came for some mini golf, which was fine and pleasant enough. This is. 2 stars. The next part, would be 0. When we were done, we wanted to grab something small to eat on site. It was lunch time, but not many people were ordering food, so that was probably the first hint. It is not a sit down meal service, it is a line up like at the food court, order your food and then pick up your food when it is ready. Drinks are in a fridge on the side and you grab it with you while moving in the line. There are 3 of us, including a child, so our order came to about $40. The cashier tells me that for orders over $40, there is a mandatory percentage service fee (either 15 or 18%, I can't even remember). If we had taken a drink out to go under that amount, there would be no service fee. I have never heard of any other place with such a policy. Just on principle we left and found a lovely sit down restaurant with actual service that we would happily pay a tip for a short drive away. No wonder no one was eating there! read more

I ended up just keeping score for the three of us our my iPhone, but probably a legitimate question to ask, if you like to keep score. What a beautiful way to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon. Awful service for first-time comers. The front desk staff is rude. She didnt let me finish inquiring on the whereabouts of the golf course. She misdirected me and assumed that I was attending kid golf camp when I had my whole family of 4 adults standing next to me. WTF? There is only a single good thing I can say about the golf course; the greens have good drainage and are usually quite fast and challenging. Everything else about the place is awful!! The whole facility is run down, Eaglequest is the slumlord of golf courses!!!!!!!!! This place is so run down it is an embarrassment to all golf courses not named Tall Timbers. The balls and mats at the range are long overdue for replacement (mats falling apart, balls are worn down to the bottom of the dimples in some cases). The railing at the restaurant is rotted and falling over. No vegetation control is ever done and the weeds around the entrance to the site are out of control, not to mention the moss growing on the driving range carpet that is never removed. Last time I came here I was treated so rudely by staff/contractors onsite that I decided to never set foot on this property again including writing a review of the place to encourage others to avoid this place as well. read more

Ive been coming here off and on for the last 10 years. Driving range is above average and the mini golf is generally below for the cost(except right now as its $5 per person). I shot the 9 hole a few days ago and was VERY impressed with the condition of all greens and general course maintenance. That being said, the price is a little steep for the size of this course. I'd be happy to see the price drop a couple bucks, but If it's in this condition next year I'll swing by for a few rounds. read more

If you like golfing par 3's .. go somewhere else. Okay so its not shaping up to be a good review, but i was pretty sure somewhere along the way i was going to discover Hoffa. Where do i start .. Oh i know, when i was dumb enough to buy a membership. As far as driving ranges go its okay, i mean its a strip of grass that you can hit balls at, much like any other driving range i spend most my time trying to hit the ball cart, so like most driving ranges not much is to be expected. I find the best thing to do is buy your bucket of balls then go to the nearest body of water and hit them into it. Second, mini golf, it sucks plain Jane straight forward may as well be in your back yard. Overpriced sport shop and horrible restaurant aren't helping their cause. Now onto the par three nine hole course (and keep in mind once upon a time this was a landfill). It suits a landfill, I dealt with it for the first 6 holes, basic no real undulations or scenery .. at all, but when i tee off on 7 my ball doesn't bounce. Now my ball not bouncing doesn't shock me I'm kinda like the Helen Keller of tiger woods world, what does shock me is that my ball didn't bounce because it was in a giant puddle of sewage. I say it was sewage because it smelt and looked like sewage (I didn't taste it but can imagine the result). That's when i grabbed my ball leaving as much of the excrement on it as possible and joyfully slapped it on the pro shop desk requesting my money back. All said i didn't get my money back or ball for that matter and am simply writing this so anyone who sees this wont waste their twenty on the same misfortune. We just celebrated a birthday at the Eaglequest Coquitlam golf course. It was a group of 20 (9 year old boys). What a great venue for a party. The kids had a one hour golf lesson and loved it. We then had their private room for food and cake. Overall it was an awesome experience for all (parents and kids). The service we received there was fantastic from start to finish. read more

I have to admit, I am a little shocked at the other review. I travelled out west visiting family this summer, and played a lot of golf, and visited a lot of ranges. This was definetely one of the best ranges around. Ball and hitting mat quality was the best I have seen, and the staff was really friendly and imformative. Yes, the mini golf doesn't have giant windmills and laughing clowns, but that wasn't what I was in the market for. I did love the proshop, and thought the selection of merchandise was great. I did not find it overpriced, then again I am far beyond buying the 3 for 1, poor quality golf shirts from bargain stores. "Good golf products aren't cheap, and cheap golf products are no good". i did not see any "sewage" on the golf course. Then again, it is a par 3 course, and being a 3 handicap I didn't hit any "fairways". I did buy the Rewards membership program, because I did use it at other sites the company owns in BC, and am close to other sites they have in Calgary. Over all, a great experience, and should be for new golfers all the way to more experienced, mature golfers as well. read more

I am an avid golfer from the eastcoast and was travelling in vancouver this past summer. I came along this driving range in Coquitlam named eaglequest golf centers. I have to say I was amazed when I first stepped out onto the range. I have never seen anything like it before, espically back east. The service at the front counter was second to none aswell. They greeted me with a smile and were very informative and friendly the whole time I was there. They also had the proshop looking very neat and tidy and the had a great selection of everything todays golfer would need, at very resonable prices too. When hitting balls on the range, I was very impressed with the mat and ball quality that eaglequest provided me with. Also having many mountains as a backdrop while hitting balls made the experience that much more enjoyable. I have nothing bad to say at all about my visit to eaglequest coquitlam and will be back my next visit ot vancouver. read more

Because this course is halfway for a friend and me to get together for a quick round of golf, we had been coming for a number of years. Unfortunately, most of the time the staff are rude and unhelpful. The restaurant sometimes gets good people in, but they never seem to stay. The course seems very hit and miss with the condition of it, and I have had to speak and email the manager on several occasions about the rude staff and changing rules for their membership, points etc. Some say they can be exchanged for a round of golf, others say, no, the points are only for the balls of the driving range. I just went there today, and another unhelpful staff member told me my card had not been active for 5 years, when there was plainly a sticker for 2011 right on the card. I hadn't been there because of all the road construction for many years in Coquitlam there, and you would think because of this they would want customers to be happy. I can hardly wait to get rid of my buckets of balls still left on the card and be done with this course. read more
