I don't usually write reviews about anything but our experience with Scott Burnam was over and above what you'd expect from a roofer. Scott and his crew were very respectful of our home and yard. They didn't leave a bunch debris on the lawn and pretty much kept the driveway clear. Scott's wife Elizabeth handled the paperwork with our insurance and kept us informed all the time. The best part, and the reason I'm writing this review is Knoxville Roofing | The Roofer Direct did what they said they were going to do and did it when they said they were going to do it. Knoxville Roofing | The Roofer Direct is a locally owned business which was important to us. If you're looking for a great roofer, I definitely recommend them.

I got a call after the initial inspection by the technician, and in a couple of days, the job was done. Start to finish in 3 business days for a complete flashing replacement on a chimney. Laura was wonderful and wrote out the details as we needed to satisfy the buyer that the job was fully documented. I liked that it came with a 2-year warranty that cools everybody's nerves when dealing with real estate. So much rides on documentation in these deals. Thanks Mobley. (Heads up-- paid by check. No credit cards.)

The owner worked with me on the cost to repair and after a year, I reached out because it appears that there may have been additional leakage. He sent out his employee the next day. He was at our house for over two hours researching and (I feel confident) resolving the issue. Through no fault if their own, they determined the short length of my gutter most likely is the issue. They adjusted it and we should be good. They have a 2 year warranty which he honored, no issue at all. I'm very appreciative! Highly recommended.

They had about 15 guys on the crew and they got the large job done in one day. Yesterday, eleven years later, a tiny leak developed so I called them again. Steve arrived within the hour. He diagnosed the problem and had two other guys come by a couple of hours later who fixed it. I was amazed to have them do this at no charge! I'll definitely be using them in any future roofing projects. This was in Knoxville, TN, though Yelp seems convinced that I'm in Reno, NV!

Stancell's inspection revealed missing flashing, an improperly installed roof valley and prior water damage. The only thing they couldn't repair was our faith in the honesty of the seller.
