I bought a home with a metal ridgecap. My home inspector didn't mention that metal ridgecaps are horribly outdated and that any home with one should have it replaced immediately because unless it is recaulked regularly, it WILL leak. Well, it did, damaging my sheathing and leaking down onto the sheetrock inside. I sent out three requests for estimates. Barnett wasn't the first I called, but they were the first to respond. Victoria showed up the next day, early, with her partner Alfredo. I fully expected Victoria to recommend an entire new roof for tens of thousands of dollars. But she inspected my roof, found the issues, and wrote down what she would do to fix it and how much it would cost on the spot. The repairs were less than $2000, which was shocking considering the amount of work she and Alfredo would ultimately do. I wish I had canceled the other estimates. The other contractors I had come out hit me with aggressive sales tactics as soon as they pulled into my driveway. Neither gave me a quote on the spot. I had to call the one company 9 days later and they only quoted a replacement; not the repair that I asked for. Another company never gave me a quote at all, instead they insisted that I set up another meeting with them at a time my wife could attend because I said I wouldn't be signing a contract without her input. There is more to my story, and I was not an easy customer. I even let my quote expire while I was dealing with other contractors and my insurance company, but Barnett still honored it for the original price. They addressed all of my concerns and did a fantastic job. Barnett has been the most prompt, straightforward and professional contractor of any type that I've had work on my home. read more

Very satisfied customer. David Barnett reviewed our house personally and explained thoroughly the process. He recommended using GAF shingles of which I have had great success in the past with their quality. David is a Master Elite Roofing Contractors which allows for the best possible warranty. Ron and his crew of nine worked like a well run team. I was very happy with their use of FeltBuster along the roof and using Storm Guard which is a Film-Surfaced Leak Barrier that will help prevent leaks around the Dormers and Chimney as well as the roof section over the porch due to the shallow slope. The most impressive thing was the method of surrounding the house with netting. My wife and I never saw that much attention to controlling the debris. He is the choice for the best job at a competitive price. read more

We had put off getting a roof for years on our 26 year old house because we knew it would be expensive, messy, and just a hassle. Our original roof was less than perfect and we hated taking the chance on getting another bad roofing job that we would have to constantly patch and repair. However, Barnett was the best roofing company we could have asked for! Professional, competitively priced, neat, timely, everything we hoped for and more to make this process smooth. I have recommended to all my friends and relatives. We could not be happier with the quality, value, and look of our new roof! Glenn L. read more

We had a very positive experience with Barnett Roofing from the initial conversation to the completed project. We appreciated the "no pressure" conversation with our salesman. We felt the price was very fair and were impressed with the one day tear off and completed project. The work crew was very attentive to detail throughout the project and made sure we were 100% satisfied before they would leave. I have and will continue to recommend Barnett Roofing. I have replaced a few roofs in my lifetime and speak from experience! You will not be disappointed. read more

We recently bought a house with many issues including a leak. We reached out to a different roofing company first and they gave us an estimate but never followed up to get us scheduled nor could we ever get in touch with them. We finally called Barnett Roofing. Victoria and Chris came out gave an estimate and got us scheduled the next week. They showed up on time communicating with us every step of the way. They worked hard all day and completed the job. Cleaned up and then left. I'll definitely call them again for our roofing needs in the future. read more

I almost never write reviews in public places. After the work done at our home, I really feel the need to say that "Gary and Jr" (as they identified themselves) were professional and through, including inspections for related issues. When they discovered all the materials expected were not needed, they arranged a discount from the cost we had agreed to pay. Who does that? A few weeks before they arrived, Alvin Winter impressed my wife with his professionalism in assessing our needs using a drone, instead of climbing on the roof. read more

Barnett roofing replaced my 30 year old shingle roof last week and did an amazingly wonderful job. The entire job was completed in one day (36 square). This included, complete removal of the old roofing, replacement of 10 sheets of decking and installation of under layment, and new GAF 50 year material shingle warranty with a 10 year leak proof warranty. They protected all my shrubs and plants and cleaned up really well. Extremely pleased with everything they did. if you need roofing work - this is the company to call read more

I'm blown away by Dave and his guys! Instead of taking the easy way out and just replacing the leaking pipe boot that had caused a bit of rot on the plywood, they took the time to (first leave and go to the store for a bundle of shingles to match) cut out and replace the bad wood, replace the pipe boot and re-shingle that section... Unbelievable! With such incredible attention to detail, not to mention calling and showing up on time, Knoxville is lucky to have roofers like these guys! read more

Very reasonably priced, yet absolute highest quality of work. They're friendly and professional, and they go out of their way to make the roof look great and otherwise make sure the customer is happy. They even painted the metal water heater/furnace chimneys and the plumbing vent spouts to match to roof. Looks fantastic. And they scrubbed the siding on my chimney (at my request, because the roof was too steep for me to get up there). read more

They did a great job on my roof. David was very professional and easy to work with. With a large crew they were able to get it done in one day. I was having leaking problems with the chimney area so they installed new flashing and made sure I would have no more leaks. With all the rain we've had , I have had no problems. Together with their great warranty and service I highly recommend them. In the future I would use only them. read more

I appreciated the quick response to my call. Barnett showed up when they said they would and gave me wonderful advice. David didn't feel I needed a new roof immediately and said so. It was a small repair, but they treated me like an important client. I'll be calling them when my roof does need replacement down the road. Thanks David and Chris for restoring my faith in roofers! read more

Barnett Roofing came out today in a drizzle and repaired a shingle blown off in a storm. It was a bit of a wait for the appointment, but quality is in demand and well worth it. Victoria and partner were up on the roof (a steep one) and replaced the missing shingle and secured the ones around it. Thank you and I highly recommend Barnett Roofing. read more
