Not enough space on this review to name everything. Now we have an AC condenser that is so noisy, our neighbors are complaining about it. We had ChasRoberts come out in early 2025 and they said that they would not warranty a noisy CARRIER condenser. Now we are looking at replacing our HVAC system so we can sleep at night without hearing our AC. Robson put in a under powered system by having three zones in the house to get an energy efficiency rating. That puts a strain on the condenser we've been told. We know quite a few people in the community that have had to replace their HVAC systems within 10 years of it being built. The cost $15k - $20k. That is not right. Our paint on the exterior of the house is showing signs of fading. Neighbors have painted their houses already. $7k - $10k. 5 years!!! Robson seems to use very cheap things and you have to wait in line to have things fixed. Our condenser should be replaced as it only lasted three years. I would not buy a new build home in a Robson community like ours and only look at resale. Consider this if you are planning on building in a Robson community. One more thing. They sold us a model that could not be built here at Saddlebrooke Ranch. That's another story. Neighbors here at SBR community are great. That kept us here.

The sales office will tell you that a whole new amenities center will be built in the north part of the property. There is NO plan for this. Robson corporate in Arizona makes all the decisions and they have no plans to expand any of the amenities. Their properties in Arizona have plenty of new and expanding amenities but we are the step child. Requests fall on deaf ears. The only thing not being used to overflowing is the tennis courts. We pay a ton of money in HOA dues so it seems like we should get a return on that. They continue to build more homes but we cannot accommodate more people using the facilities. Please be aware, that if you are hearing that more amenities are being built, they are lying to you.

I had medical experts who were trained in the United States and The United Kingdom and they did not waver and effectively did the things necessary to make my life easier and better by training me in donning and doffing my prosthetic hooks. My elderly parents moved to Good Samaritan Village in the early 2000s, and my brilliant father was keen on moving from our family home on Bell and Roberts St., near Texas Woman's University. My Hundred Year Old mother, Peggy Fearing has really enjoyed the last stage of her life and remained in the Creekside Duplex, #35 for the past two decades, and shows no signs of going anywhere: Indeed, her chief complaint is generally the absence of visitors and the wholesale loss of hearing and eye sight. My two sisters are currently on vacation, in tropical places that don't concern me. Kim and Marilyn Harris generally take turns on who goes when. Meanwhile, it's deep sunny summer time in North Denton, Texas and I pray that our Air Conditioner hangs in there for the duration and blessed fall weather conditions, which includes the usual seasonal changes and shorter days. I am just a disabled and thankfully retired management professor at the end of his dream career. Let's get some things straight: I have greatly appreciated the positive impact of praying that my church family did for us all along the way. Together, we are much stronger than when we are apart! Cheers, Mark C. Fearing, Ph.D.

The staff would not provide us with information about her care, physical therapy, occupation therapy, food intake, water intake, medications or anything we asked them to inform us about. We found out on the day we checked her out of there that they had not been giving her one of her required medications for the entire three weeks she was there. Our family was given a meeting with the social worker, a nurse, PT, and OT and we asked for charted notes of what she had been doing there and her progress and they told us they could not provide that information. We found her soiled in bed a few times. She never had fresh water to drink when we would arrive. We did not find any evidence of skilled nursing taking place for our mother.

In addition to billing the patient/resident $5,400.00 for the same 20 days of rehab. Thus $13,900 for 20 days of 1.5 hours of rehab per day x 20 daya=30 hours $13,900÷ 30 equals $460 per day x 20 days of 1.5 per day (3rd party PT therapists) who are only being paid $100 per hour. The facility gross profit of $360 per hour. If you are someone ?who requires more PT good luck as none of their residents ever walk out of their own). As most are still wheel chair bound or using a walker when they leave if their lucky. After all if they fully rehabilitated their residents the facility would go broke. They are 50 percent short staffed because they can't retain good nurses or aides because the pay is low. 25 percent are contract so Covid is an issue. They Covid test the residents every 3rd day at $250 per test they charge the patient or insurance.Reason being too many contract employees thru 3rd party companies.

We visited dozens of sites on the internet, and drove to six places in the north Dallas area. The one place that jumped out to us was Parkview in Frisco. We have never been sorry that we chose this as our home. It is a an attractive facility, and the landscaping is beautiful. Parkview has several different floor plans and apartment sizes, but we chose a two bedroom, two bath apartment that meets our needs perfectly. It has a modern kitchen, large living/dining room and a comfortable balcony with a view. All utility expenses (except TV and phone) are included. Our maintenance needs are also included and fixed rapidly just by a phone call. But it is the friendly residents and serving staff that puts Parkview ahead of other retirement complexes. Smiles and hello's greet you in the hallways and warm conversations are the norm in the dining room. And by the way, the food and service iin our Embers Restaurant is first class, with a wide variety of selections and all prepared and served well. We love to take cruise vacations, and our life "aboard" Parkview is very much like that on a premium cruise ship: daily activities, entertainment, dining, etc. So if you are looking for a retirement place, you should come by Parkview in Frisco. We think you will like it . . . we certainly do. Bob M P.S. Here's a link to a website we publish highlighting life here at Parkview in Frisco: www.parkviewers.com

I've noticed that there's ALWAYS a happy buzz in the restaurant - which to me says a lot about how much people enjoy themselves and I've NEVER seen that so consistently at any of the other many many communities that I've been to - and the food is GREAT! Parkview actually have the ONLY restaurant that I've been to in the US where I can get a salmon cooked and served as it should be - and I'm from northern Sweden so I definitely know my salmon! :-D ...and the grilled chicken salad with the Chef's homemade dressing - O M G it's so fingerlickin' gooooood I wished they sold it bottled!! The last time I visited, I got the chance to see their new Assisted Living and Memory Care next door and...WOW!! That is the most astonishing AL/MC that I've EVER seen - on any side of the Atlantic ocean! It seriously looks like a serene SPA with a Texas-twist - it's sooooo beautiful in every little detail and it's amazingly well thought through to help the residents thrive. It totally astonished me and still, I have a veeeery critical eye when it comes to living conditions and surroundings! :-D I definitely recommend this place! :-)

My mother was here for rehab after a hospital stay, and the facility was recommended by Medical City Denton, just down the road. Over a week in, and having received ZERO contact from anyone that I didn't initiate, I asked why, and was told that they hadn't bothered to record anyone's contact information in her file -- translated, they didn't really intend to communicate. My mother, who can use a toilet, wasn't able to in this facility because she wasn't allowed to leave her bed, would be left in her own waste, and even when I would visit I felt like I was going to have to light myself on fire to get someone to help. After about a week my mother got a UTI from laying in her own waste, it took almost another week before they addressed it with antibiotics, and then they implied that she shouldn't be allowed to leave until the infection was better. Here's the deal: the infection isn't going to stay better as long as she's in your facility laying in her own waste. Truly a horribly managed place.
