Right after I bough my house my water heater went out earlier this summer. Ryan came out right away (same day!) and helped me get everything setup for a very reasonable price. He was so personable and considerate about how he did the work, how he cleaned up afterwards, and helping me out with understanding the water situation here since I was new in town. Fast forward to today. I was really struggling with how hard the water is here (my hands were cracking and it isn't winter yet!). Because of limited space at my home to install a water softener/filter system, I found a system that worked well for my space but it would require some routing of pipes, etc. to make things work. Ryan sent Jesse to take care of the job, and Jesse was great, too! It ended up being more work than anticipated and he was great about letting me know everything it would entail. He was also very conscientious and knowledgeable. He was very friendly and patient while we spent the time figuring out the best placement for the system. And he went above and beyond to write down the instructions I'll need to maintain my filter replacements in a year (and even going so far as to label my valves so I can follow the instructions easily, and the labels for the filters so I don't get them mixed up a year from now). He was so helpful and took such good care of me! I had other questions and he answered them without hesitation. And, Ryan (the owner) was great about providing me a very fair price for the work. We had an incredibly difficult winter this year. Trying to get our home open after being…read morewinterized. I had electricians, a contractor, water treatment people out to open our place up in the dead of winter after a major winter storm. I was desperate. My husband was extremely ill and was being treated at Kootenai Hospital with a serious illness. After many issues with the cabin and me crying on the phone trying to explain what we were going through, Fred's Plumbing owner and crew said, "Don't worry we will get your place open"...and they did! They put in a handicapped shower and a new toilet in record time. They even helped me down 29 steps to my home with a load from Costco to get ready for my husband's homecoming.
