I signed up for Fosters maintenance plan and had their guy come out to do an inspection on my equipment etc. etc. I cannot tell you how comfortable I felt with him saying "we don't need to clean your vents because they're clean," and then he told me everything that was right about my equipment and air handling, etc. I'm just so impressed that he did not sell me vent cleaning, and I wanted it, and he said you don't need it. That's an honest person, and I believe an honest company hires honest people. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. Shout out to Zack and Spanky.

    In town visiting my elderly parents for the weekend and their unit went out Thursday. They had…read moresomebody out Friday morning to let us know the outside unit needs replacing. A sales representative, Sam, came out later that afternoon and took measurements and looked at at everything ac related and installed a temporary window unit. Came back Saturday morning with a quote for new units and explained everything in detail to my father. What should have taken 15 minutes to explain turned into 45 minute trip. Sam took the time to sit and chat with my father about fishing and being in the service. Being in hospitality for 30+ years it is nice to see being hospitable is not dead. This time spent with my father made my day and made my dad smile. Sam is top notch, professional and most importantly personable. Thank you Fosters for treating your customers like family.

We…read morefinally were able to replace 35+ year old AC this year and got Ken to install it. 9 months later I have warped floors and slime mold growing out of my floor and we discovered a wet copper line running from the outside AC, under the house and up into the attic. So I call Ken and he immediately gets defensive saying he had nothing to do with the copper line or anything under the house and told me to call a plumber. I do and the plumber says no leaks, the copper line is dripping, call your AC company. I call and leave message with his wife and never hear back from them. Sent to VM when I try again. I call another AC place to come out and he said there is a valve and a joint that was broken, if I still had a warranty to call them. I call and get Ken's wife and ask for Ken to come back and check those things and fix them. Ken then calls me and wants to know what the problem was because I got his wife all "fired up"! I asked how did I do that? And he said by telling her all these things were no good or broken. He said everything was good and nothing is wrong with the unit. Tells me to call a plumber again. I told him I did. He said as long as the house is cool the unit is fine. He was very loud, rude and very defensive. I felt attacked and bullied in this encounter. I am really beyond shocked at his behavior and their treatment of someone who was seeking help and answers to a serious problem. I didn't accuse anyone or lay blame on him. With their handling of this situation, it leads me to think that maybe he did break those valves on install and he knew it but since the unit kept going he left it that way. And he never looked or checked the old copper line that he was tying into when he installed my new unit seems negligent and unprofessional and may end up costing me a lot more money!
