Old review: I did Acima buy now pay later option. We brought our appliances home, first refrigerator was bad so we drove it back to them a few days later. Second refrigerator was bad so we called and expected for them to think "well this is the second refrigerator maybe I should go myself to fix". No, the owner, the older man got on the phone and spoke to us like we were crap. My husband stayed calm. The old man yelled and yelled "maybe it's your house!! We are not going, you bring it back!!" And he hung up on us. What kind of customer service is that!? It's been two weeks. We haven't called back. We called Acima but now no one at the appliance store is answering Acima's calls. They don't want to fix it or they don't want us to return the item. So my family and I are living out of one cooler waiting for them to answer Acima so they can make right what they wronged. The younger guy is respectful but the older man is just rude and disrespectful. He speaks to his customers HORRIBLY. We would like to just get the refrigerator fixed or a third one or just cancel the entire order. We literally bought $3,000 worth of appliances and this is how they treat us. That's horrible business and so heartless of them to not care that they do things like this to families. It's just very disappointing. He did not adhere to the contract he wrote and signed, nor the statements he sent me in emails, in his words, "We put are pride and soul in our work and guarantee our work. If you have any issues after you can always call me and I will come fix it". -He was hours late almost every time he came over to work -He had people helping him the day of pour that he claimed to not know, and it was obvious this was their first time ever doing work like this (the guy pouring the concrete had to get out of his truck and help them with the patio because it was clear they didn't know what they were doing, they were having so many issues, and it was so chaotic) -He ruined our grass with equipment and wood -There is zero attention to details and his workmanship is beyond sloppy (lines aren't straight, the border only goes ¾ of the way around the perimeter, the stamps are uneven and overlap each other, there are holes in the surface, none of the sides of the patio are straight, and the photos of the steps speak for themselves) -He left our yard completely trashed with concrete, rocks, and metal -He wrecked the side of our house, getting concrete and color powder all over our siding and door, he knocked our light crooked, and he left us with some of the siding ripped off -He left piles on concrete, gravel, and trash (with a beer can in his trash pile) on the property next to ours -How he left our patio is not useable, our steps are crumbling, uneven, and not safe, and there are huge dips where water puddles He came back the next day and agreed it was awful and said he'd be back the next day to rip it up and re-do it. We haven't heard from him since. Won't return a call or text. He took over $9k from us and left us with an unusable patio, a huge mess to clean up, and another huge expense of figuring out how to rip it up and get it re-done. After some research I've found out he is working under multiple names, with multiple phone numbers and addresses associated to him, so be careful. Most likely because he's running from bad reviews and money he owes other people. This man clearly has no idea what he's doing and is a fraud.

The gentleman from Affordable Appliance removed the ice cube maker (per our request), however, he neglected to turn the refrigerator back on before he left. My husband and I didn't notice until a few days later and by then, it required us to throw out roughly $150 worth of food. We called Affordable Appliance to alert them of the mistake. After being challenged about our food loss (which we weren't asking to be reimbursed), Affordable Appliance agreed to not charge us for the fee. My husband and I believe in giving second chances, especially to small business owners, so when Situation #2 arose, we decided to give Affordable Appliance another shot. Situation #2: Our washing machine stopped working. An Affordable Appliance repairman fixed the problem, but after he left, my husband found a leaking hose connection that was severely kinked (we believe the repairman shoved the washer up against the wall which caused the kink and hose connection to start leaking). When we called Affordable Appliance, they gave us every reason as to why this was not their fault. The owner, Jeff, came out to take a look and once again was extremely stubborn and unwilling to take any accountability for the leak (which clearly started after the repairman had worked on the appliance.) This company does not take accountability for its actions and their repairmen have shown sloppy work and have lacked any attention to detail. I would not recommend this company to anyone because clearly they do not understand customer service.
