As you can imagine this leads to a vehicle that from time to time will need to be cleaned by the professionals. Meet Christopher the professional behind Glow Up Mobile Car Washing. He's the kind of guy you call if you want your car sparkly and clean. He recently came to my place of work with everything he needed to detail the Pequod my 2015 Volvo (yes I name my car doesn't everyone?). After he was finished my vehicle was back to its brilliant pearl incandescence and the interior was spotless and dust free. I'm sure he found a whole bunch of old fries in that space between seat and armrest. I highly recommended Glow Up. Christopher is generous with his time, charges a fair price and is a consummate professional with very prompt communication and a tireless work ethic. The Pequod rides again!

First, when I went to go and pay, the cashier was rude and had an attitude (for no reason..I simply just walked up to the counter to pay). Then as I was approaching my vehicle after they called for me, one of the guys rudely told me that the tip box was behind me and that's how they do it there. Smh, I had the tip money in my hand but was caught off guard by how aggressive and rude he was. I was planning on tipping but because of what he said and how he said it, I didn't want to tip him. I just felt his response was uncalled for and very unprofessional. Idk if it was because I had out-of-state tags or because I was a woman but the treatment was definitely uncalled for. I checked the inside of my car and found one of the parts that holds the floor mat together was broken (the piece was missing) and someone there also broke the piece used to turn the vent on and off. Pics are included. I am extremely upset and feel that they should pay for the damages. Not to mention, the overall cleaning of my car wasn't good. NEVER WILL I GO THERE AGAIN! P.S. I wish that I wasn't in a rush and would've had a chance to read the reviews because I see that they treat a lot of customers horribly.

Having been here…read morebefore got my new vehicle washed and based on the good service I once experienced 5 years ago, I departed the car wash. Once I got to my next location and got out I noticed the hood had little dry spots in many areas, I then inspected the entire car. This is a new vehicle with no paint issues at all. I immediately went back. Speaking to some young guy (James Rice) stating he was the manager-I really didn't want to see him, he politically explained procedure of going back thru ' when the issue is very eye catching--this place spotted my hood and top' and it wasn't this way prior to coming here. Once I at their request went thru again, another individual was obviously contacted ( Rob Hide ) manager, at the time of his arrival the vehicle had just came out and he to notice the spotted paint. I maintained my sanity and he was calm and polite 'more so than that young kid' ...they wiped and wiped even I assisted with areas they had neglected--but the problem was still there. This place has gotten progressively worst, below minimum quality of work since my last visit 5 years ago operating with just four people. Once going thru the wash you sit for unreasonable amount of time and snail maneuver to the very end. During such time wash shampoo and chemical had settled on my paint 'a brand new vehicle' that's the only possible logic. Now we go legal!!!! Photos don't lie. They don't deserve a rating!! Do not waste your time going to this place and if you do inspect your vehicle.

I'm not a huge fan of WetDog in terms of services rendered or customer service…read more They offer 3 tiers for the exterior only, and 3 tiers for their interior/exterior services. When I went today to have my car washed, I asked for the middle tier interior/exterior cleaning ($21). The receipt the guy gave me was for the bottom rung interior/exterior ($16). Okay, not a huge deal. My car isn't exactly new, so I'm not missing much by skipping the polish and wax. I'll keep the $5... Go inside, use the bathroom. It's gross. Don't bother. Make my way to the counter and pay. The ancient lady running the register is neither friendly nor efficient. But this is a car wash, I'll live without chipper smiles and chatty employees. I pay my $16 and go outside to enjoy the weather while I wait. The exterior looked better than my scratched up, dinged up car ever has! That's about the end of my praise. The back seat was still covered in lint and fuzz left behind by my daughter's coat. The front floors by the seats were hardly touched. And they don't touch trunks, so don't expect that done either. I didn't have time to have it redone, so they put me down for a free wash next time. Had to spend another $3 in quarters vacuuming my car out myself. Clearly by the other reviews, this is pretty common for them to half ass their jobs. Save your money.

I paid using my credit card. Usually two workers one each side of the vehicle power wash all sides of the vehicle prior to entering the car wash. They damaged my brand new forged aluminum wheels, denied it, and utterly refused to make it right…read morein any way, shape, or form. Before you run your car through Waves, read this. I was a loyal repeat customer. Before my first visit I specifically asked a manager if their equipment would damage my aftermarket forged aluminum wheels. I was told not to worry, that even Porsches with large spoked rims go through without issue. I trusted that and kept coming back. What I didn't realize was that their loading track was gouging my driver side wheel during my visits. Three deep scratches, same exact spot on the outer diameter.. and the only wheel that's damaged? -- The one that loads directly onto their track. My other three wheels are completely untouched. The damage doesn't lie. I came in calmly with the car in person and a $175 repair estimate -- the cheapest quote I could find. I wasn't looking for a fight, I just wanted my wheels made right. The manager Scott reviewed the damage on my car, and later pulled up 2 dates of camera footage, then called to tell me they aren't liable. I visited multiple times in March and April. Their cameras only go back two weeks -- that's their limitation, not mine. I followed up in writing. The owner called personally and still refused to pay $175 -- despite the fact that only the wheel that physically contacts their equipment has any damage, in 3 exact spots on the outer diameter -- damage that could only come from hitting the same track repeatedly. $175. That's what my loyalty was worth to them. I have now filed a complaint with the Delaware Consumer Protection Unit and am filing in Sussex County small claims court. Look at the photos attached to this review. Then decide if you want to risk your wheels.
