I grew up a mile from a Weigel's and used to frequent there with my parents for gas and snacks. I have always had pleasant interactions with Weigel's since childhood. Coming to this one makes me nostalgic for the smaller, neighborhood one where we could buy milk by the jug and come back for refills! I bought a lot of Willie Wonka candy back in my day. I like how the staff yells a welcome to you when you walk in the door, a show of Southern hospitality! This location is robust, kind of like QT in Atlanta. Glad Bolt Farm told us about Ingles and we hit it up before we made it to our dome, as Ingles was a good 30 minute drive down the mountain from Bolt Farm. The best grocery store option in the area though, in my opinion.
