Gas is affordable, and the restroom are modern with no touch toilets, sinks, and hand dryers plus no lines for the women. I grew up a mile from a Weigel's and used to frequent there with my parents for gas and snacks. I have always had pleasant interactions with Weigel's since childhood. Coming to this one makes me nostalgic for the smaller, neighborhood one where we could buy milk by the jug and come back for refills! I bought a lot of Willie Wonka candy back in my day. I like how the staff yells a welcome to you when you walk in the door, a show of Southern hospitality! This location is robust, kind of like QT in Atlanta. Good place to stop for affordable gas on I-75 just north of the split with I-24.

There are a few snacks. It's also an awesome place to just grab a beer and sit for a while ( people watch). I have also met and talked with some interesting passerby's. You can rent a bike or take a Segway tour. The most important thing is the fun friendly staff there. I know most of them by name and vice versa. Don't be put off by the simple décor or the fact that it's attached to a gas station. This place is where you want to pull in for breakfast or lunch. They use Boar's Head meats.
