I am currently dealing with a situation regarding a dumpster rental. I originally ordered a dumpster to be dropped off on Tuesday 12/16 10am and to be picked up on Wednesday 12/17 10am and replaced with another dumpster. Today 12/17 the original dumpster wasn't picked up until 1pm and when the dispatch arrived to pick up the dumpster they DID NOT have the replacement dumpster with them. In fact we had to wait until they took the original dumpster and emptied it and brought it back. That all was not done until 2pm. This caused us to lose man hours due to being unable to do anything without the dumpster. It also caused us to not keep a commitment to our clients. While calling numerous times between 10am-2pm today I was given multiple commitments that were not kept regarding time frames and resolution to our issue. Eventually I was told by Dispatch and I quote: "THIS IS THE BEST I CAN DO" and then I was hung up on. We have NEVER experienced this type of unprofessional behavior and blatant disregard for commitments. And we've used multiple dumpster rental companies including Eagle in the past. Needed a dumpster for a move out purge from two houses. We were located in the Phoenixville, PA area, so they may have different offices in our area. They delivered on time and while the price was higher than a competitor on the rental, their rental period offered 4 additional days of time to keep the dumpster. Now they are telling me I had to pay $350 for the swap of an empty dumpster. Mind you they just went in and charged my card 3 times!!! Picked up the dumpster without authorization. The dumpster had a few bags of yard clipings and a small amount of materials, which I had pre-paid for 2 tons. Took about a week to speak with anyone who could help after many contact attempts and being told "We will have a project manager reach out". When they finally reached out, they put the blame on us and refused to take any accountability for their rep assuming that we wanted same day pickup. Same day pickup is also something they expilicitly state is not an option, requiring 48 hours notice at the least. People we spoke with were extremely rude and unprofessional. In the end they offered to bring a dumpster back out, for 150 dollars less than we initally paid. They refused to discuss this further. Go with literally any other dumpster company. read more

One of the most annoying and unprofessional companies I've ever had to deal with. While helping my elderly grandmother get a spare storage room in her home cleaned out for my sister who is moving in to help care for her, we decided to hire a dumpster from Eagle, as they were local and their prices were competitive. We called nearly two weeks in advance, booked a medium sized dumpster, asked what the fee breakdown would be, and what the protocol for getting the dumpster picked up was. They gave us the fees, assured us that there would be no extra cost unless we threw out over one ton of junk, and told us *twice* on the phone that the dumpster was booked for a full two weeks, and that they would be picking it up on their at the end of that two weeks, regardless of if we called or not. This was of significant concern to me, as I would be traveling back home hundreds of miles away before that date came, and I was worried that my grandmother would forget to call Eagle to have them pick it up. Their repeated reassurances that they would come get it regardless of if we called or not left me feeling better about this project. When the day came to drop it off, Eagle dropped off the biggest dumpster they carry, which was slightly annoying since we had to get approval from the local HSA to have a dumpster put there, and one of the conditions was that it would be a small dumpster, as it would be in the street and not in a driveway. Eagle assured us we wouldn't be charged for a larger size, as it was their choice to give us a larger one, due to them "not having any medium dumpsters available." This, of course, left me puzzled - why would there be "no medium dumpsters" available on that day when I reserved one nearly half a month earlier? Did they temporarily forget my reservation and give it to someone else or did they promise me something they didn't have available at the time of booking? Who knows. Either way, that didn't exactly leave me with a ton of faith in their organizational or accounting skills, but whatever; my family and I continued with our cleaning job, and we were finished in only a couple days, as we did not have a huge amount to throw out - hence us only asking for a medium dumpster. Fast forward to the day Eagle said they would come to retrieve the dumpster "whether you call us or not" - it doesn't get picked up. Next day comes, still doesn't get picked up. I call Eagle and ask why they didn't pick it up and they tell me "Oh, because you never called us." I remind them that they told us *twice* they would be picking it up on that date regardless of if we called or not, and the representative said, "Oh, I don't know why you were told that; that's not how we do this." When I reiterated that I was told this *twice* by the person I spoke with at the time of booking, they said, "Fine - we'll get it tomorrow and we won't charge extra for the extra three days." Easy enough, but once again - not a lot of faith in their organizational skills or accounting practices. I figured this was done and settled until a month later when I received an email from Eagle saying, "Oh by the way, we weighed your dumpster and it was over one ton so we charged extra on your credit card today, thanks!" When I emailed Eagle a timestamped photo taken immediately before pickup, showing we had only thrown out three 5lb bar stools, one 10lb chipboard TV stand, seven 10-gallon trash bags of old clothing that couldn't have weighed more than 30lbs each, a small 2lb plastic drawer, a stack of cardboard small enough to be carried out by one person, and some foam pads weighing less than one pound total, Eagle told me, "Well, that's what my employees say it weighed and this weigh station is calibrated by the same people who calibrate gas pumps - I don't know what to tell you." While their prices are competitive, every single step of this process came with a headache from Eagle due to their apparent inability to keep records correctly or hire trustworthy people. Pay more for actual professionals. P.S. Look at the photo below and tell me if you sincerely believe the contents of that dumpster weigh 2,200 pounds like Eagle claimed - what a joke! read more

The day the dumpster was supposed to be delivered we got a notice that the dumpster would be late but they didn't specify what day it would be dropped off. When we got it picked up they said it could be picked up in the next couple of days, again didn't specify a day. I wanted to get clarity about duration to know if any extra costs. When asked about duration they just said call and we'll come get it. Actually they only allow two weeks. It is stated in follow up email but I didn't read it as I had just received dumpster and thought only additional fee would be for weight overage. Lesson learned. For me to rate them I would give them a zero. When you call with an issue you always get a person you can barley understand. They tell you a project manager will call you back and that doesn't happen until you call several time. My contractor called for a dumpster pick up on 6/12, I called on 6/13 and the dumpster blocked my driveway till the following Monday. Everytime I looked at my credit card there was another charge on it for rental fees. When I called an spoke with the project manager the last time about a refund he told me he doesn't care if I use them again. He even said I would never want to deal with you again. He said he rents many of dumpster and really doesn't care. They drop dumpsters that say Giordano's but don't call them they told me you have to deal with Eagle. Well long story short my contractor wrote a review and said they will never us them again. If I were you I would to go another company. Customer service was a joke - no one could help me and they couldn't move the dumpster for a full TWO DAYS after it was delivered. They placed it directly on our septic tank causing potentially thousands of dollars worth of damage and didn't get so much as an apology. I'm not one to order dumpsters regularly. However after I ordered my dumpster speaking to friends there may be cheaper options out there. What I can say though from my dealings with Eagle Dumpster is their customer service is everything you want from a company and I leave feeling ok about the transaction. When ordering the dumpster the response time by email and phone from the company was always prompt and helpful. I ordered at the last minute and over a weekend and even though it was Saturday and Sunday they would replied to me. They took the time and helped me pick a dumpster that best fit my needs. The man dropping off the dumpster was very friendly and skilled. He dropped the dumpster on the 2x10s my town insists on if you put the dumpster in the street. I called a day before my scheduled pickup date and asked to extend a week longer. They didn't charge me anything for extra time because they didn't have a shortage of dumpsters. I on the scheduled day of pickup I assumed they would be around mid day and had not moved my truck that was parked less then a foot from the dumpster. However I heard the pickup drivers truck early in the morning and by the time I scrambled to get dressed and out to move it and give the driver a hand with the tarp he was gone. My tarp was folded neatly on my porch with the bungee cords piled on top. In today's world dealing with any business it is rare to see the extra effort and was really surprising and greatly appreciated. Often after dealing with a business now a days you leave feeling somewhat shafted and annoyed. Meanwhile accepting of that's just how life is now. However if you need a dumpster I know of one company that actually makes an effort to treat the customer well. So if I need a dumpster again I'll have no issue calling Eagle Dumpster for my business. read more

Please dont ever use this company. We were hit hard with Hurricane Ida, and we ordered a dumpster on 9/7, for delivery on 9/10. On 9/10, it never arrived. I called and emailed several times and the response I got was that it would be delivered on 9/10. I had a whole crew of people who were going to help rip out the walls in the basement.
