Brigitte's methods WORK!!!…read more we spent over a year working with a swim instructor who came to our home and never got either of my kids so much as doggy paddling. I was panicked and completely anxious because we have a pool and live right by a body of water. Well, within two or three 10 minute sessions she had my two year old and three-year-old swimming! Some of the early lessons were challenging for them. I know some parents have a difficult time hearing their kids get frustrated and seeing them struggle as they learn a new skill, but it's absolutely worth it. My kids are so comfortable in the water and it's one of their very favorite places to be. They dive down to the bottom of the pool, they go through hoops underwater, they have mermaid tales. I really can't believe it's only been a year or so since their lessons last summer. Brigitte opened this door for them and we are thankful every day. And now, she is working with my littlest one:)

She has been with Ms. Danielle since the beginning and couldn't adore her more. Her ability to connect with the kids, show them new skills, and encourage them along the way is remarkable. My daughter just leveled up to level 5 and is now with Ms. Dani and Ms. Nya. She adores them along with all of the other staff at Watermelon Swim. They always greet you with a smile, assist with any concerns, and make you and your child feel known and loved.

She got very upset and frightened during the second lesson when they were being taught to put their heads under water, her fear carried over to the third lesson, but somehow, Daniel was able to get her back in the pool, and by the end of lesson three, she was comfortable with the water. By the end of the last lesson, she was able to swim unassisted for several feet as well as float for several seconds. Lessons are 30 minutes long, classes are small, and the instructor is highly trained and spends time with each student. I will definitely be signing up my other child for classes here. Highly recommended!!
