Many years ago, we also had them reupholster counter stools to match our family room love seat upholstery. Their furniture is of the best quality, and can be customized as needed. The staff is very helpful in discussing our needs and helping us find the right products, providing interior design guidance as needed. We keep coming back because of the high quality and unique items we find there. Every time we browse the showroom floor, we find treasures that we just can't pass up. We desire a distinctly southwestern style, and D'Amore has had just what we need, every time. We have been frequenting D'Amore Interiors since they were located on the I-70 Frontage on the West side of Denver. I guess that must be close to two decades! When they moved to their current location, we found them promptly, as we needed some leather dining room chairs! After that we gave her a $1500 retainer to help my wife shop for furniture. We sent Lara six emails of suggested dates to shop together. Nothing. My wife then called her and gave additional dates. Nothing. We spent well over two months with Lara and have absolutely nothing to show for it. My wife asked for a refund at this point. She basically charged us $800 for work that she never did. To us that is extremely unethical. If you decide to work with Lara and Living Well Design, I'd be very reluctant to give her any upfront money. Lara and Living Well Design never even started our project even though we gave them $1700. This was a truly frustrating experience. Not only did we lose the money but we lost over two months of time.

We hired a design firm for two reasons. 1.) We wanted someone to push our thinking re: ideas that we had as well as given us new ideas/concepts for what to do. 2.) Regarding #1: Candace and Victoria blended our ideas w/ their own creative ideas to deliver a design/outcome that is MUCH BETTER than what we could have completed on our own.
