I broke down outside of the facility. It was a major repair that they'd warned me about. They got…read moreme in and out, SAME DAY, at an more-than-reasonable price. I'm still in disbelief. It was fu*king awesome. Can't say enough good things. Not that it matters but I'm broke and I need my car- I've been fighting cancer for a bit and my son is graduating high school. They turned a crappy situation into not-so-crappy and I'm grateful!

I've been going to these guys for years and, honestly, I'll never go anywhere else for my car…read moreissues. I get my annual inspection here, I get my new tires here, but most importantly: I get things fixed here when other mechanics have messed something up on my car. Which has happened three times in the past two years! The most recent example: an auto body shop didn't put all the lugnuts back on my tire, and they didn't tighten the lugnuts they did put on after working my vehicle. I drove around, unaware of this, for weeks. When I went to get my inspection sticker, I recreated the strange noises coming from my tire (SIDE NOTE: they never laugh at me when I do this; I've seen other customers do it to them too ["thump, thump, thump" or "SCREEEEE"] and they take it very seriously). When they looked, they were appalled. They tightened lugnuts, added lugnuts, and checked my alignment for free because of how dangerous a situation it could have been (like... I was miles away from my tire falling off my car). When they told me (multiple times) my car was safe, I believed them. I always believe them. They have never led me astray. They're reliable, competent, considerate, friendly, patient, and have great senses of humor. One time I had to have SO MUCH work done on my car, they didn't want to say how much it would cost out loud so they wrote it on a paper and slid it over to me like we were in a movie. I've been offered ice cream, coffee, rides if I needed to be somewhere. But most importantly? I've been offered the best of humanity. (Nearly every single time I'm here, an elderly person stops in to ask if they could put air in their tires. And they do it immediately. For free.) Thanks for making me (and so many others) feel seen and heard, folks! Your customer service is unlike any other.

A family run company with honest prices and a quick turn around. I needed all four breaks replaced…read moreon my Toyota Prius. A costly to-do that can be stressful for a college student like myself. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the tire pressure monitor was reset, the invoice was thorough, and the customer service was immaculate.

As I slowly rolled into a nearby parking lot, I immediately called AAA for a tow (these guys are the local AAA towing company). I didn't know what the issue was but my car was overheating and the engine light had gone on. Arghhhhh!!! It was 4:30 on Sunday and I knew, that in Maine, there are no late night car repair shops (I'm from Ohio where you can find someone to work on your car until midnight). I opened the hood and sure enough the belt to my water pump had broken (later I learned the water pump had gone bad causing the belt to split). So I sat there and waited. A series of events happened that don't pertain to this business, but eventually the tow truck driver showed up (I think his name was Bobby?) and he helped me out. We ended up taking my car to their repair shop. I was going on faith that I would have a good experience and that they could get my car fixed ASAP, the next day, so we could hit the road. I knew nothing about these guys other than they were close local and that "Bobby" worked for them. Well it wasn't quite ASAP, but they did get my car running the next day and they did a great job making sure it was road worthy again. I had a good experience and would return to them for more mechanic needs.
