I was contacted by the business owner about my review. She was unhappy about the treatment I had…read morereceived when I went in and asked me to give her business another shot. She also offered me credit at her laundromat. While I've yet to use my credit I did go to Sunshine today on my own dime because I had a ton of laundry to do after my son's winter camp out, including a queen sized bedspread. I used one of the great big $6.00 machines and did a huge volume of colored stuff, and put all my whites into one of the $4.50 machines. The pluses are that their machines are fast, about 25 minutes per load. When I went in the place looked the same as before: It's immaculately clean, everything works, and there is plenty of space for people to work. There's no waiting for machines, even on a Sunday. I was glad because I was in a hurry, and I'm glad that I went back. Like I said, I HATE giving bad reviews... hate it, hate it, hate it. I'm glad to report I had a good experience there today.

They take quarters, tokens, and credit cards, but I found it confusing at first. It ate extra quarters because the detergent dispenser was messed up. My major concern is that there is a lot of deferred maintenance. I had a bedspread that required a 20 lb. washer. Of the 7 units, 4 were out of order. The other 3 were being used. I had to use a 30 pound washer and one of the other customers told me there are always units that need repair. The out of order sign was also evident on other size washers. Please step up the maintenance schedule.

So let me get clarity on this, I pay YOUR facility to do MY laundry yet it's all up to me to wash fdry and fold, and pay to wash and pay to dry, yet my trickle charge from the wall outlet I cannot utilize why? Oh I can use large machines but not a wall outlet? Unless that's of course I pay for that too correct? No I do not expect anything for free... but a little give back would be nice. oh and since yes, I am new to the area, I will not be using this local succubus that provides nothing to those in the community but more financial gouging....

Well their only change machine was out of order which meant I had to put everything back in my car and go find quarters. Fortunately the nearby car wash always has working change machines. With quarters in hand I was back to laundromat. Next issue was the washing machine is so tall I had to feel with my fingers to find the soap dispenser. If you are short or in a wheelchair this isn't the place for you. Wash is $3.75 to $4.75 a load. Dryer is .25 for six minutes. I went to sit in the 3 seater bench and it jerked backwards like an amusement park ride. My clothes turned out fine; However my son went the next day late afternoon to do his wash only to have his clothes come out smelling like terrible mildew. He wasted nearly $10 to have his clothes smelling worse than when he brought them in. He soaked them overnight to get the mildew out and then had to drive to GP to find another facility. I think this place needs some thorough maintenance because right now it is lacking in a lot of important areas.

Pretty good. A lot…read moreof broken machines. Could be much cleaner. A lot of the washers smelled quite funky and a couple were filled with pet hair. That being said they do have some new, nice washers with a large capacity. For this reason I will be back. The main complaint I have is the dryers. They do not get hot. Out of the 5 I used, they got warm. My towels were drying for about an hour and were still wet. I even split the load into 2 dryers and it didn't change anything. Not cool. I tried the 2 huge ones off to the side and 3 of the regular ones. The drunk tools who hang out outside the bar next door are a fun addition to laundry day. They also take up all the parking for the laundromat and park their giant suv's and trucks sideways so you can't get in/out of your vehicle. UGH. I wish they would tow them like the signs say.
