They are a full Massachusetts state lottery facility. They have gas. They also have a huge amount of snacks and drinks available. They also process money grams. Staff is fabulous. Fast and efficient. The store is very small, quite cluttered, and on the occassion I've visited, rather dirty. While there is an interesting selection of latin produce, the bananas I bought were very odd - tiny (and yes, they were bananas) and though greenish on the outside they were brown and bruised on the inside. They do not carry beer, not that I care. If you are in a bind and need milk you might find it here - but mainly Mr. Grocer seems to supply lottery tickets and junk food to the Waltham masses.

Aren't these types of stores usually open until at least 11 p.m."; to which he replied No..no..no... If you need something like aspirin or paper towels at 10:15 at night sometime, forget about going to Kristina Market. Also, their ATM payment machine does NOT give cash back EVER from debit or credit cards. Hopefully these people will sell the store and the next owners can bring it back to a "convenience" store. I've never heard of a place like this closing BEFORE 10 P.M..!!!! Also, if you have anything against gamblers, stay out of this store. They have tables for people playing Keno all day long (these people also take up all the parking spaces).

One mother bought five for dinner for her burger-hungry "rug-rats." Complete meals if you chose. Beats the price of other store's prepared meals by half. On my way home after leaving out of Alewife station I stop here to fill up the car with gas! First I just wanna point out that this station is now a GULF station. Not a Mobil. Maybe it was at one point and time. I even checked up on the address. So please keep this in mind. For starters you get EASY access to this station before you hitup 93! So I always head north to 93 to get back on 89 to head to VT. So this station is always on my way out from Alewife! Less turns the better off I am! So this is a huge plus for me! I also leave at all different hours on Sundays. This is great because this location is 24/7! So I never have to worry about them being closed. You can pay with credit card outside or go inside and prepay with cash! The gas prices are on the lower end as well. So you will save some cash. Even though its VERY clean and the employees always seem happy to help out. They even have a Duncan Donuts added to the station. So if you want coffee its a plus! I always use the rest rooms before heading out because we all know what kinda nightmare of restrooms alewife has! (Check out my review of alewife!) I also get any drinks or snacks I may need for my 3 1/2 hour drive home! So with fair prices and clean location this place has won me over as a normal customer on gas ups on my way home! I will continue to visit this location unless they take a complete 180 on their customer service! Check them out if your in the area! Very solid 4/5! I have been going here and I plan to return on every visit if I can!

I haven't been too lucky yet with his lottery scratchers but I guess I can't blame that on him - lol.
