I'm a big fan of this place. Great breakfast sandwiches; great deli sandwiches; and the bagels are above average. Good bagel assortment. Very nice staff, friendly and efficient. Decent coffee (arabica). Large assortment of cold drinks. ATM machine; credit cards accepted. Small place with a 6 seat table and 5 seat counter. I highly recommend leaving extra time during busy hours (weekend mornings for sure).

Pork roll (lack of), egg and cheese

We paid over $6 for a sandwich with the shit end of the pork roll, not even an entire piece to cover the whole sandwich, little bits of the shit end of the roll. Bagel was also wrong and it's stale. This was always our go-to but we are really super disappointed. You cannot charge $6 for a sandwich with little bits of the shit end of the pork roll.

Bagel and Lox with pickle and macaroni salad plate. hits the spot!

I had a craving for A bagel and lox and of course I had to have the side of pickle and macaroni salad to boot! E Street bagels is not only a fun man but also a bagel place that has a lot of care and real mom and Pop feel their food. Everything is extremely fresh, as can be witnessed by the stream of people who come in on the weekend mornings. The sandwiches are extremely reasonable. Most people seem to get the pork roll egg and cheese, ham egg and cheese or egg sandwiches. In my case the salmon lox was reasonably priced at $7.50 and a large coffee with refills off for about nine dollars. Most people seem to pick up at this location. In my case I did bring an iPad to puruse as I spend a lazy Sunday morning. I do enjoy comfortable sitting furniture and I have to say that the decor is basically a standard deli. However this is the struggle I have usually most breakfast places being not a coffee shop design but rather a pick up and go type of establishment. So overall I posted the picture of the bagel and lox which was excellent and a worthwhile Sunday outing!

Chicken salad on whole wheat bagel. Featuring pickle slice and pasta salad :)

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars based on prior reviews, which was the main reason I decided to check it out. Maybe it was because I walked in sometime between 1-2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, but I was not particularly impressed with the food or service. Since I had heard the bagel sandwiches were good, I opted for a chicken salad on whole wheat bagel w/lettuce and tomato. The girl behind the counter who took my order seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else but there - the young man who rang up my order, however, was polite and pleasant. The chicken salad was decent, the bagel not so fresh. When I walked in, they were in the middle of sweeping the floor so all the chairs had been propped upside down on the counters. Not the most inviting to stay, so I opted to take mine to go. Based on what others have highlighted, I would go back for breakfast but would not rush back for lunch.

One egg, one piece of cheese and one piece of bacon broken in pieces RIPOFF

NO! Honestly it looked dirty and a little sketchy but Meemaws was packed and we were starving so we just figured we'd grab some breakfast sandwiches..what a rip off first of all she overcharged us and when we questioned her we got an eye roll but she admitted that she overcharged us and gave us 450 back she acted as if it was our fault. My egg sandwich had one Fried egg, one piece of cheese and one piece of bacon broken into pieces and it cost $5.35 a bottle of water is $3.50, coffee was cold..ugh don't waste your money!

Really great bagel and service for E Street! After spending Summers in Belmar I finally ventured out to give it a try and was blown away by how fresh and friendly everything was. Have your choice between bagels and spreads or opt for something off of their menu. I walked in with a large order of 5 breakfast sandwiches and other goodies and was in and out within 7 minutes. The organization they have with getting the orders done makes for the service to have a smooth rhythm to it. The bagel I ordered wasn't overly toasted (I hate when that happens). It was fresh and eaten quickly. E Street is the local bagel spot for a great reason and should be your bagel spot even if just coming down for a beach day.

10$ for a thin a** bagel sandwich with ONE egg, get out of here. This is to help you step up and be fair to your customers. Rip off.

This starts off dark but it ends with bagels and joy, trust me!…read more We had been at Jersey Shore Med Center all week as our mother transitioned, finally, at 4am on Christmas Eve. When hospice staff finally ushers us out of her room at 6:20 we are left to collect our hearts and heads and move forward. Mom loved the beach and the sun will be rising soon. But we are short on sleep and need comfort in this time. What says comfort at 6:30 in the morning better than the staff and bagels at Hole in One? We piled in the car to grab our favs and then ate breakfast peacefully on the beach in Ocean Grove as the sun rose. We reflected on life and death and family... And the joy of a soft, toasty bagel. I also had a Red Bull which may or may not seem insane lol If it was any other bagel shop we may not have gone there that morning (there are closer shops to the beach than this one!). I mean who goes straight for bereavement bagels at dawn after 3 hours of sleep? Well the staff at Hole in One are always so great and friendly. And the bagels are possibly the best you can get between Red Bank and Neptune. And their sandwiches? Delicious. That little danish/turnover type of pastry thing that was kind of warm when they gave it to me? SO TASTY. Please stop by when you get the chance!

Well, well... where do I begin? I've had their vanilla latte…read moreonce before and slurped it down in about 10 seconds. Very, very... very delicious. I have also tried a specialty matcha which was very funky (in a good way) and left me eager to try more. Today I got their breakfast burrito and a current special for the winter: the candy cane nitro latte. Strap in. I looked at my latte and opened up my takeout box. Could it be a mirage? Am I lost somewhere, out in a desert... alone? Thankfully, no. Well, yes, I am alone, but I confirmed this was real life. I pinched myself to check. Staring back at me was a prepossessing arrangement of breakfast provisions-- all mine. I started my experience with the side salad. In a blink of an eye it was gone. DELICIOUS. The dressing was so good and the pickled onions.. just wow. Next I went into my breakfast burrito. At this point, I've started praying to God because he clearly had my back today by guiding me towards this burrito. The side of hot sauce balances perfectly, just the right amount of spice and such good flavor I'd drink it. Straight up. I don't have enough words to describe this experience. I succumbed to the tunnel vision I had developed and devoured every bite-- satisfying my deepest desires-- the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, cheddar, pork-roll, bacon, sausage, and rippers. Wake seasoning blend saved me. I fell into a complete state of monomania; I turned off my music, my tv, put my phone away-- and just lived. Me and my breakfast burrito. Total bliss. Originally I intended on drinking my latte alongside my burrito and salad like a normal person. I became a bit preoccupied with my meal, but it's okay, because it left me a delightful treat for the finale! This coffee was made with love and I could feel it. My first sip, I thought I heard the bells of Santa's reindeer. It truly is the holiday season. Thank you Lia for putting your all into this latte. NEVER stop being you. From my three experiences trying Wake's drinks, I can attest that their homemade syrups are made with you (yes, YOU) in mind. It's not too sweet. You can taste the coffee. You can taste the milk. You couldn't ask for more if you tried. Final Remarks The staff is extremely friendly. I ran into one of the owners and he was very charismatic. A trustworthy and dedicated team is clearly working behind the counter and behind those kitchen doors to ensure you get an experience that will last you a lifetime. Boy, was that the case for me. I hope you don't think this is a ChatGPT written review. I spoke from my heart and I wrote this with love. You gotta try it. You just gotta.
