Slow service Just average bagel. Plenty of other spots nearby with better service and prices.

If you're looking for the best bagel spot around, look no further than E St. Bagels. Gus and the entire team are absolutely fantastic, always welcoming, friendly, and committed to providing great service every time you walk through the door. The food is consistently outstanding, but the real star of the menu is the pork roll, egg, and cheese. It's hands down one of the best breakfast sandwiches you'll find anywhere perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and always made fresh. The bagels themselves are top-notch: fresh, chewy, and exactly what a great bagel should be. read more

I've been stopping by E Street Bagels for a long time. While it's true the service and food has vacillated widely, the past few weeks have been very good. They may have new owners or just a staff that seems to care. I usually get a pork roll egg & cheese. The bagel is on the smaller side but it's comparable to many shops in the area. The woman running the show is kind, greeting from the door, she repeats your order and thanks you. It's almost surprising these days to have someone not just mouth platitudes. My food was ready in about 3 minutes and I was on my way happy as can be. Give them another try, or don't be scared off by bad reviews; I've enjoyed the experience lately and think you will too. read more

E Street Bagels - Pork Roll Egg & Cheese on Egg Bagel - Bagels Near Me - Wall Township, New Jersey

Absolutely beyond disgusting! Nasty and greasy bagel with a hash brown, the thinest slice of pork roll I've ever seen in my life with 1 egg for $10.... insanity, learn your lesson, read reviews before visiting restaurants! read more

Always delish and I can just text my order in the am. Very friendly staff! Their tuna is bomb

10$ for a thin a** bagel sandwich with ONE egg, get out of here. This is to help you step up and be fair to your customers. Rip off.

Delicious and generously filled classic BEC on a bagel. The bagel was surprisingly good for this part of NJ and the coffee was excellent- for over $10 for this combo it better be! Service was super friendly and fast. read more

Warm friendly and delish! We had blt and breakfast sandwich, and they were great. Family friendly t.v. and really nice staff. We will be back! read more

Weak ! 8.00 for a small pork roll sandwich and only 1 egg ?? C'mon. This type of sandwich would never fly in north jersey.

8 dollars for a bagel This is a good bagel not a great bagel. Didnt even come warm and bacon was cold. This was truly a disappointment for 8 dollars. 4 people standing in the kitchen not one hello they just look at you. I'll be sticking to hot bagels in belmar more welcoming and cheaper. read more

I'm a big fan of this place. Great breakfast sandwiches; great deli sandwiches; and the bagels are above average. Good bagel assortment. Very nice staff, friendly and efficient. Decent coffee (arabica). Large assortment of cold drinks. ATM machine; credit cards accepted. Small place with a 6 seat table and 5 seat counter. I highly recommend leaving extra time during busy hours (weekend mornings for sure). read more

We paid over $6 for a sandwich with the shit end of the pork roll, not even an entire piece to cover the whole sandwich, little bits of the shit end of the roll. Bagel was also wrong and it's stale. This was always our go-to but we are really super disappointed. You cannot charge $6 for a sandwich with little bits of the shit end of the pork roll. read more

E Street Bagels - Pork roll (lack of), egg and cheese - Bagels Near Me - Wall Township, New Jersey

My vote for second best bagel in Monmouth County goes to E Street. Bagel Oven in Red Bank gets my nod for number one but not by much. As far as their coffee and other accoutrements ESB does ok but nothing to write home about, although they do a decent pork roll, egg and cheese which is worthy of your consideration. BTW - Manhattan Bagel in Wall is still the best run store and overall dining experience you will find in these parts all things considered. Bottom line: When planning your next bagel fix, give ESB a try for their NYC like bagels made the old fashioned way. read more

I had a craving for A bagel and lox and of course I had to have the side of pickle and macaroni salad to boot! E Street bagels is not only a fun man but also a bagel place that has a lot of care and real mom and Pop feel their food. Everything is extremely fresh, as can be witnessed by the stream of people who come in on the weekend mornings. The sandwiches are extremely reasonable. Most people seem to get the pork roll egg and cheese, ham egg and cheese or egg sandwiches. In my case the salmon lox was reasonably priced at $7.50 and a large coffee with refills off for about nine dollars. Most people seem to pick up at this location. In my case I did bring an iPad to puruse as I spend a lazy Sunday morning. I do enjoy comfortable sitting furniture and I have to say that the decor is basically a standard deli. However this is the struggle I have usually most breakfast places being not a coffee shop design but rather a pick up and go type of establishment. So overall I posted the picture of the bagel and lox which was excellent and a worthwhile Sunday outing! read more

I really wanted to give this place 4 stars based on prior reviews, which was the main reason I decided to check it out. Maybe it was because I walked in sometime between 1-2pm on a Tuesday afternoon, but I was not particularly impressed with the food or service. Since I had heard the bagel sandwiches were good, I opted for a chicken salad on whole wheat bagel w/lettuce and tomato. The girl behind the counter who took my order seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else but there - the young man who rang up my order, however, was polite and pleasant. The chicken salad was decent, the bagel not so fresh. When I walked in, they were in the middle of sweeping the floor so all the chairs had been propped upside down on the counters. Not the most inviting to stay, so I opted to take mine to go. Based on what others have highlighted, I would go back for breakfast but would not rush back for lunch. read more

NO! Honestly it looked dirty and a little sketchy but Meemaws was packed and we were starving so we just figured we'd grab some breakfast sandwiches..what a rip off first of all she overcharged us and when we questioned her we got an eye roll but she admitted that she overcharged us and gave us 450 back she acted as if it was our fault. My egg sandwich had one Fried egg, one piece of cheese and one piece of bacon broken into pieces and it cost $5.35 a bottle of water is $3.50, coffee was cold..ugh don't waste your money! read more

Really great bagel and service for E Street! After spending Summers in Belmar I finally ventured out to give it a try and was blown away by how fresh and friendly everything was. Have your choice between bagels and spreads or opt for something off of their menu. I walked in with a large order of 5 breakfast sandwiches and other goodies and was in and out within 7 minutes. The organization they have with getting the orders done makes for the service to have a smooth rhythm to it. The bagel I ordered wasn't overly toasted (I hate when that happens). It was fresh and eaten quickly. E Street is the local bagel spot for a great reason and should be your bagel spot even if just coming down for a beach day. read more

$11.20 for a western on a bagel and a cup of coffee. I even questioned the guy at the register and he told me that was the price. Okay... make no mistake I wont be back. The sandwich was okay but not worth what I was charged. Other places in the area offer the same thing for way less. read more

The food is not so great, prices quite high in my opinion and the lady had an attitude with me

Sometimes I want to visit somewhere other than Corner Bagelry when I'm at the Shore. This place has good prices in a small strip mall. However, the service here is terrible and they do not follow good COVID protocols. Numerous employees were in the store, but no one would take my order. About half of the employees were not wearing masks or had their masks around their chins making them pointless. Highly disappointing. Do not recommend going back unless you want to be ignored and get COVID. I'll stick with Corner Bagelry read more

The food was frozen, and there was a hair in it. Normally would go back in, but the men and women working did not seem enthused about customer service. Will not be going back. read more

Shameful. Utterly despicable excuse for a breakfast sandwich. I ate the thing out of necessity and am still writhing with hunger. Not nice of them. read more

The food and quality has gone down hill in the last few years. I ordered a pork roll egg and cheese on a hard roll and the amount of pork roll was one small slice about 2" in diameter. There was no one at the counter and when she appeared after a few minutes it was like I was bothering her asking for a sandwich. I will never go back and over pay for bread and cheese. read more

I come here for my pork roll egg and cheese on an everything bagel whenever I feel the craving. Unlike many other places, they pile the pork roll high and they know how to do it right. Staff are always friendly and quick, and they have seating there if you feel like sticking around to eat. They're a great option for breakfast sandwiches in the area. read more

Very disappointing. Extremely overpriced, the prices on the menu online are supposedly "old" , they charge different prices based on which bread you choose ( not on old menu). And food is dry (mediocre at best) read more

Used to love this place but since some changes last year the quality and service has gone down hill. Not enough hard rolls, no more croissant, not answering the phone, bad service, and then messing up orders. I used to love them and they were my new spot since Sea Breeze closed a few years ago in spring lake heights but no longer. When i ask for a pork roll egg and cheese on a hard roll with pepper and ketchup to go and I think picked up a pork roll egg and cheese with salt and ketchup on half sub roll it really isn't a good time. Bagels are good and subs are but breakfast sandwiches really falling off. This is the 3rd time something like this has happened to me and I would consider myself a regular going there 3-4 times a month. read more

Recently bought a dozen bagels at E Street Deli and cream cheese with lox. The bagels were stale and the cream cheese woth lox was tasteless, I think they waved the lox over the cream cheese. There was no sign of lox, not even the tiniest piece. The only other possible explanation is that it was only food coloring and a tiny drop of liquid smoke that wa added to the cream cheese! On top of that their prices were very high, I won't be back! read more

Breakfast OR lunch this place is my favorite. Quality food. Friendly and sufficient service. Will be back ASAP!

Visited on a busy Sunday. There was a wait, but that's understandable because it's good! They got my big order correct. Service was super friendly. My only wish, is that the bagels were slightly bigger. read more

Tried this place out. Place is nice and people running it are nice. Had breakfast sandwich which was tasty. I am happy with everything but the bagels are on the small side... I mean the breakfast food seemed more in diameter than the bagel. Some people would find this to be a problem. Bagel was ok tasting. Coffee was good. Will go back. read more

This deli is trash. It's essentially overpriced leftovers. Never have I bitten into one of their bagels and not cracked a tooth. This one girl who works there is very unprofessional and did not great me as I walked in, but instead rolled her eyes. She seemed miserable and was very unpleasant. I would not recommend going to this place unless you enjoy paying $10 for a rock with crusty pork roll and brown egg on it. read more

Just moved to the area and was hungry and stopped in. Quick service, friendly staff. I wish I could give more stars but the bagels were bland and hard and the pork roll and cheese sandwich had 2 thin slices of pork roll on it. Fine if it didn't cost me almost $10 for that sandwich and a bland egg bagel with cream cheese. Bummed because it's so close to my new house and the staff was lovely but I can't spend that much money for just ok bagels/sandwiches. read more

Stopped by here 9:00 on a Saturday morning, got a few dozen bagels. Got home and realized they were all stale. These were definitely not made fresh today. I would look for a better option. read more

Good bagels and friendly service in this fast-paced shop. I've also hired Gus and the crew for catering and they've always done a great job. Love their backyard BBQ deal! What steams me about the place is the egg sandwich pricing. They make 1 egg sandwiches and charge you for the extra egg: seriously?! 1 egg?! Put a second egg on and raise the price $.50, don't nickel and dime me. Trimming down the onslaught of advertising displays and literature pieces on all counters (Judo! Workout! Sell your house!) would leave some space to eat there and add to the dining experience. read more
