As someone who's worked in the service industry, I would have appreciated a small gesture, like adding a bit of honey free of charge to help balance the taste, especially considering the substitutions were due to allergies. It's a small thing, but it would have made a difference. I've also had smoothies without added sugar before, and they've been good. This one just really wasn't good at all. I couldn't finish it.
