I had no idea a delivery was coming, so when I got a text that one was on its way, I was in the middle of checking out at the grocery store. I texted my daughter, who has special needs and was wearing noise-cancelling headphones, to grab it off the porch. Between the barking dogs and her headphones, there was a short mix-up about timing. When the driver (Stacy) came back, she was openly irritated with my daughter, saying something to the effect of "really, you didn't hear me with the dogs barking?" in a sharp, condescending tone. My daughter was in tears by the time I got home. When I called to ask for an apology to my daughter, the driver was combative with me too, focused on how long the delivery had taken her, even though I hadn't ordered it and had no way to anticipate the timing. And she's not the only one. Read the other one-star reviews here and you'll see this same rudeness and hostility is a pattern with this company, not a one-off. I then called the manager today to follow up and instead of addressing the customer service issue, he was hostile with me on the phone too. I paid $70 for a corsage and got three roses and some babies breath. Good Lord. ***Edit*** I love it that this business came back at me to defend this nonsense. I have added several pictures of their $70 corsage to back up everything I said. Yelp, let me know if you think this is $70 of time or material. Per their rebuttal, I gave very specific instructions. NO greenery because I wanted it only blue and white. No big bow and not a bunch of ribbon and tulle because I wanted it to be all about the flowers. I wanted a floral corsage, not a Texas homecoming mum. They suggested iridescent rhinestones, which they used and I was pleased with. As they also stated, I said I wanted a narrow corsage that extended up the arm, almost like a wrap. I'll let you be the judge if that was accomplished. I asked for blue thistle, which they didn't have, and white roses. I didn't say anything about what other flowers they used, but I'm glad they used the baby's breath. Part of the problem was that the roses were full size roses, as opposed to small spray roses which would have resulted in a much lower profile result. The large roses were dramatic, but they made the corsage very top heavy and difficult to wear. My wife wore it for pictures, then asked if I'd be offended if she took it off because it was flopping around, even with two extra ribbons tied tightly around her arm. I asked the opinion of others who know before I posted this review. They thought the corsage was pretty, but extremely overpriced given the result. And no, I didn't stay or come back to the store on the day of a formal event to have changes made, even though others told me to take it back. I didn't have time. It was a week day and I work for a living. Don't get mad and call names. Understand the assignment and do better work. If I took away all of the options for making a corsage, why did you still charge me $70?

Last week, a flower arrangement was delivered to me as a gift. The bottom line is the arrangement had few quality stems in it, to the point that it looked sparse and thrown together. When the flower shop was called about the issue with the arrangement, the woman on the phone was somewhat rude about the complaint, but sent out a replacement the next day. The replacement was much nicer, and exactly how the original arrangement should have looked. What made my opinion of this flower shop turn in a more negative direction is the handwritten response I received from the flower shop. Handwritten notes are good, right? Not this one. Instead of getting a sincere apology from the business, because the initial flower arrangement was UGLY, wilted and lacking in the number of stems, I received a note with my replacement arrangement stating that the previous arrangement was up to par, and that it contained several blooms that would've taken a few days to open. (As if THAT is the reason it looked awful? (I guess they ignored the part about it being mishaped, looking sloppy, and consisting of wilted flowers too?) I took a photo of the initial arrangement and the replacement arrangement, specifically for my review. Always in Bloom, isn't always in bloom, now is it? No repeat business here! There too many excellent florists in town to accept poor quality flowers, and rude customer service.
