Furniture, decor, art, accessories, kitchen gadgets and linens are all beautifully curated. November and December are my favorite months to shop here when this store is decked out with fully decorated holiday trees, seasonal decor items and gift suggestions. The jewelry and crafts from local artists are terrific to browse through too. Unique soaps, candles and delicate string lights grab my attention and my wallet! On Nov 6th, they had their annual holiday night out. The first 100 guests were treated to a free ice cream topped churro and dirty sodas from food trucks outside the back of the store. Advertising, raffles and food samples must have worked due to how many more people I saw this year! I purchased forever candles, glittery winter evergreens and a few other goodies. Five weeks ago I did pay Lisa Michelle Schneider the 15 hours of advance pay she asked for while representing herself as an interior designer wanting to do work. I knew almost immediately that something was wrong and called my bank, only to find she had already cashed my check. My suspicions about Lisa were correct. The day she took my check was the last day she called me. This is a nightmare. Since taking my check Lisa has not initiated, not once, any contact with me. She has only answered my few basic texts after me waiting 24 to 48 hrs for her to reply, then having to send the text to her a 2nd time. I waited 5 days for a reply to "can we meet"? These are the facts. It's been exhausting for me to push on Lisa to do work that I've already paid for, only to see her very sub-standard work results. She lied to me and exaggerated her work experience . Her ideas are that of a complete amateur. I cannot use anything she suggested. I realize that Lisa does not have the "eye" or the skill set to do design work. At week 4 of this nonsense with Lisa Schneider, I decided to cut my losses and hired an Interior Designer and I'm happily moving forward with an "actual" Interior Designer. This experience with Lisa has been an "eye opener" for me, a complete waste of my money, and much more importantly, my time. Buyer Beware.
