My car needed two windows replaced; the sliding door fixed, had a lot of play in the steering wheel…read moreand needed the break lights and blinkers fixed. I took my VW bus to this establishment on a Monday in early June. They told me they would do a diagnostic and call me to tell me what needed to be done. By that Friday they still had not called so i called them. They told me they had run the diagnostic and had to order the places but the place they were ordering from closed early so they would get it next week, AND CALL ME with a quote on price. a week passes and no call, so I call again and they say the place they were ordering from did not have the part so they needed to look elsewhere; but that they HADN'T HAD TIME TO GET AROUND TO IT. After another few days (into week three now) I tell them that I was dissatisfied and needed them to either finish up the work or i would just go elsewhere. at this time they tell me that they hadn't yet ordered the part so I tell them to just fix the lights because I needed to drive over 100 miles back home and didn't want to get pulled over on my way. ANOTHER WEEK passes and they call to tell me I can pick it up. During the call I am informed that this whole fiasco is going to cost me over 300 dollars. After a month of doing nothing they replace some bulbs and fix a short in the blinkers and charge me over 300 dollars. Windows and door still broken, steering still a joke but with working lights I finally got my van but I will NEVER go to this ridiculous place again and if you want to save yourself a headache I would suggest never going there either.

I am a 40 something female that took my car in for overheating at Miami County Imports, and found…read morethat he completely misdiagnosed my car and it was no accident. He is a mechanic that happens to be a con. Ever get a straight answer from him? He then will paint a terrible picture of the damages that have been done to scare you into spending money that is probably not needed. Or he will try to get you to junk the car to him or tell you "it is not worth spending the money to fix it." After having him look at it and telling me the car had a cracked block, I had the thermostat changed for 40.00 and it was fine. All of those cars he sells on the corner are from duped customers that he got to sign over to him because he tells them that it is not worth fixing. Even if he would have diagnosed it correctly it would have cost 70-100.00 from him, as his labor rate is also the highest in town. Lonnie Brewer is about 40 bucks an hour. Guys out by the bowling alley are a bit higher and have exceptional import knowledge, and they don't talk down to you like George Norton does. In this struggling economy we have the power to speak with our dollars. I choose not to go back to him and would ask that you look around a bit before you make that decision. If you had something repaired there it was probably pretty easy to do and he charged you through the nose for it. Otherwise, he will start in with " sign me over your car and I will get rid of it for you". His wife is a peach, but he disgusts me. Gig is up George, are you starting a car lot too at your patrons expense? Guess you will have the raise the rates on the Pizza joint and the cleaners, huh?

I purchased a new GMC AT4X from this dealership in 2024 and was sold an extended warranty with the…read moreclear understanding from the finance department that it would be partially refundable if I traded or sold the vehicle early. In 2026, I traded the truck in with around 50,000 miles and was told I should receive approximately $1,600 back from the unused warranty. I then contacted the finance department at this dealership, where Finance Manager Dominick House confirmed this and instructed me to email the required information, stating it would be processed within about a week. That was not true. I have now sent the requested information twice, followed up again for a status update, and even escalated the issue by emailing General Manager Daniel States and New Car Manager Jo Obarto. Not a single one of them has responded. At this point, this is no longer a simple delay -- it's a complete failure to honor what was sold and promised, combined with total disregard for customer communication. Ignoring a customer when money is owed is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on how this dealership conducts business after the sale is complete. I have documentation of all communication and will be pursuing further action if this is not resolved promptly. I trade vehicles regularly and will never do business with this dealership again. I strongly recommend others think twice before purchasing anything here, especially add-ons like extended warranties that may become impossible to cancel or refund.

I saw a car I liked on their website, so I called the dealership to see if it was still on the lot…read more I'm from Kansas City proper and didn't want to drive to Paola if the car wasn't there. Good news - the sales person said the car was in stock and a few minutes later, I was on the way. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the car looked nothing like its photos. The inside was a mess and there was some other collateral damage. It was a quick, "No." I asked the sales person about a couple of other vehicles I saw on the website. One was on the lot, however two hadn't arrived yet. I asked why and how the dealer had photos of the vehicles on its website when the vehicles weren't on the lot and if they were on the lot, why they haven't been serviced through the shop. The sales person told me that the photos came from the auto auction and since the preowned automotive demand was high - I visited in April 2024 and market was hot - the dealership uploaded them right away so it could start marketing the cars to potential customers. It's a bit of a pain, but it makes sense - though I would argue that you can't sell cars if they're not on your lot. Anyway, the second vehicle was perfectly okay, though I didn't buy it. I'm not sure if I would return in the future. The service was a-ok, however the dealership is a bit of a drive, so I would want to make sure the car I was going to look at was really what I wanted.
