I'm not a big wine fan so usually I'll do the slurp thing to taste the notes or take a sip or two and then pass my glass off to my husband, rather than dumping it. I've been to umpteen wineries around California, the US and internationally. This winery gives, hands down, the stingiest pours I've ever experienced. I could maybe get two sips out of a pour. And yet this tasting was $15 for 4 wines, but if you're a party of 6 or more, the fee for the same tasting goes up to $20 per person! Since when does pouring maybe a half ounce into more glasses warrant everyone in the party being charged $5 more bucks a piece? It feels stingy. I went to 4 wineries in the same weekend I visited Crū. J. Lohr in Paso charges $20 per person for 6 generous pours and a free pencil with herb seeds to plant at home. Eberle Winery in Paso does free tastings and yet have generous pours, free bottled water and a free tour of the underground storage facility. Quady in Madera charges $5 per person for a tasting and not only were the pours generous, we tried 7 wines, got to double back on our favorites before we ordered a half case. The server was nice and personable. I have no complaints about her. Overall it doesn't feel like a fun wine tasting experience when it seems like they're rationing their wine. While not the end of the world, there isn't much of a view for the outdoor patio because the tasting room patio is between the building and a fence with a road on the other side. If you're wanting to see vineyards while you sip, this isn't the spot for you. There was also a couple with a toddler at a table - with an iPad, playing a video outloud without headphones - while the parents were wine tasting inside, so just know that kids are allowed if that matters to you. Been drinking their wines for at least 15 years. They did not disappoint!! After I was done fangirling the tasting began. I believe we started with the Essensia. Let me just say I don't remember the lady's name that was doing the tasting but she was super nice and so fun!! We were the only ones there. It was still early and Monday. I have had the Essensia before however, I didn't remember it tasting this good! We only get the moscatos in our local stores you have to order the Essencia and the Elysium. The Essencia tasted like fruit and honey. I tried Elysium next and it was delicious. I tried the Lucky Day variety and I wasn't really a fan. That extra percent of alcohol through me. I tasted the moscatos because why not. I had the red, white, black & rosé they were all delicious I had them before so I knew I loved them. I joined the club and had 6 bottles shipped back home. It was a great time for the $10 tasting. It is worth the trip if you like dessert wines and especially if you love Quady like I do. I don't want to leave out the olive oils. We tasted the roasted garlic, a Mediterranean and another one I can't remember. I'll comeback. Those pics were taken with my husband's phone. She broke out the bread cubes and were tasted the oils as well. We bought a few bottles of the oils as well. It was a great time!! I absolutely loved it.

The best part for me was during the event sitting at the tables and looking out into the vineyard. The bathroom was super clean. The tasting room was really nice and appealing. Technically our job can't pay for alcohol, but employees that wanted to purchase their own alcohol could. The person working in the tasting room was very knowledgeable about every single one of their wines. They made it super easy for us to arrange our caterer to come and serve all of our employees and have entertainment. Everything was seamless. Set up to take down everything was great. Usually when we have an event, there's always a couple of people that will complain about something. No one had any complaints after our event they loved everything. They loved the scenery, the location, how relaxing and inviting the venue was. Everything If you're thinking about having an event here you will be very satisfied.

Visited this place with my husbands cousins a few weeks ago…read more.. I've never had so much fun with the hubby... we were in a group but we were kind of on a date night too. We ordered pizza from the pizza truck that was there, ordered wine from the bar, went and watched the jazz band front and center, The Vocalist, AMAZING voice. While we were enjoying the music, they must have thought we left so when we came back our new bottle of wine was gone. Cousin to the rescue went back inside and talked to them and they gave us a new bottle... Cheers cousin Jessica! I really liked the set up of the location and the people that were there, everyone was feeling the vibe and smiling at one another just as it should be all the time. I took some really bad pictures... I blame it on the wine... but I hope we do find something else there to go for... We talked to one of the workers and he was mentioning a couple upcoming events... I think we are gonna be checking them out soon.

It was nice because driving into here they had a sign in the front saying closed for a private event. So we had the whole winery to ourselves, felt very intimate. 3 Oaks was super accommodating with all the cute customization. They had one wine bottle with a happy birthday sticker of my friend's name on it. There was a hanged chalk sign at the bar with a happy birthday message, and the wine tasting menu also had a happy birthday message on there with his name that we got to keep. The winery itself is medium size. It looks like it's someone's back yard because there was a house with a pool and the rest of the land is the vineyard. They had so many chickens walking around. Our host Chris, told us that we the head leader chicken was name Marshmallow which was so cute. You park in this rock lot and the walk to the winery which is very close. We got to sit under the shade during the sun light because our reservation was 6:30pm. Although, it was very hot to sit outside for the summer time. There were some ceiling fans to help us stay cool in the 100 degree weather. They offered ice cold water cups as well. We were able to bring our own food and cake for the event. They had so many different types of vineyards with signs on them. It was very pretty. The barn and the seating areas had a cute hang out charm to it. Chris was wonderful with his hosting skills and his service was above and beyond my expectations. He was very personable and nice. He helped us put the food out on the table, placed utensils around, and took a bunch of pictures for our group. He also was very informative about all the wines and ingredients. He was pretty funny knowing some random facts too. I enjoyed talking to him. He even gave us some tips about taking photos during the sunset for golden hour. My friend ended buying a bottle and I believe it was $32. All the wines tasted delicious. The unique flavors tasted rich. My favorite was the Yacamastu Tempranillo for red and 2023 Pammie Grigio for white. Too bad we couldn't taste Rosé wines cuz they were sold out. The tasting itself was $35/person which was not bad. It was my boyfriend's first time wine tasting and he enjoyed too. Bathrooms were nice and clean just very hot. Saw they have board games, nice lounge areas, and merch shop. It's nice that they hold even other events like yoga. I definitely would come back to this vineyard. I thought it was sweet that the owner requested for our group photos thank you!

There…read morewas 3 of us and it was our first time being there and I had never heard of it until my friend said she found them on instagram. The place is really cute and super tiny compared to a lot of wineries in madera. It has a cute bar area with really nice chairs and a little area to buy books and market items. We sat down at the bar area and didn't get greeted right away it took a few minutes it seemed like they were overwhelmed with all of the people there. We wanted 3 tastings in the hopes to have a charcuterie board and get a bottle of wine if we liked one of them. While sitting there a couple who had a baby sat at the bar and both were drinking wine (sorry I don't think it's okay) I understand parents need a day or night out (I'm a parent too) but babies don't belong at wineries or breweries. It's just how I feel. While sitting at the bar area the owners and whoever else the ladies were to the establishment didn't have it together they all kept overstepping one another and they looked and seemed overwhelmed. And they kept talking about it in front of us. I found out the new owners have only been there 6 months. So I understand they're still trying to figure things out. But it did take awhile to get a new pour, so I finally asked after 3 tastings if we can buy a charcuterie board, one of the ladies told me they don't have anymore they were sold out. We were bummed because we were hungry, and they didn't have any snacks to buy. So we were on our last tastings and out of nowhere a board appears and was now being bought from the couple with the baby who also got to sample the slushie they serve as well. We left unhappy and not understanding why they just lied to us about not having a board for sale. The wine was great but how we were treated compared to the people around us not so much. It's so unfortunate to like something so much but the service that's given to you and different for others is not okay. I love trying new places but sometimes it's not what's it's cut out to be.
