One of our TVs was broken, cord missing from the other. They broke furniture and were very careless with our property. They would not use any protection for our floors when bringing in heavy items on a hand truck. Johnny and his team, Travis and James, showed up on time and were both personable and very efficient with their work. They were careful with all the pieces (there were some older pieces of furniture that needed to be handled with care). In one case a bolt & washer unscrewed from the stand they had been on, but they found them on the truck for us. They were also very fast with both the loading and unloading of the truck which was great since we all had to drive back to the Triangle from Charlotte. This is unacceptable for a few reasons. It's last minute...as a company, you should have back up plans in place or source out something to maintain your service that you provide. Highly disappointed in this company and people should be aware of last minute cancelations. We are now scrambling around calling company's for last minute movers. I also noticed on Yelp that Ryan dismissed another review because the name wasn't in his database. My girlfriend booked this move for us and she signed the contract so her name is in your system. Then, he wanted to argue at the end about things that were never told to me and he said I wasn't in their system, yet i have never been asked to pay a deposit. Worst moving experience of our lives. Sales guy (no longer with the company after just a few…read moremonths) didn't communicate to the Operations guy, who didn't relay anything to the crew lead. The sales guy "with over 20 years of experience" grossly underestimated how much packing materials we'd need (only to gouge us later), and ridiculously overestimated how quickly our move would take (they were at our new home past 1 AM on move day). The moving crew was great, expect for the guy who thought it was perfectly reasonable to snack on sunflower seeds and proceed to spit his shells all over our new home. I'd list the crew by name expect I don't want to ruin their chances of getting a new gig somewhere else. They were one of several local moving companies recommended by our realtors who have since removed them from their reference list. The only bright spot, Tabitha, their scheduler (assuming she's still working there).
